There is a Shepherd
Throughout the Bible, language and descriptions relating to a shepherd are used to illustrate the care that God has for His people. The tenderness, the constant vigilance, the watchfulness and care can all be seen so vividly. This is perhaps best captured in the 23rd Psalm and as one of the Redemptive Names of God, Jehovah-raah.
