Victor Paul Wierwille was a Bible scholar and teacher for over four decades.

In his many years of research, Dr. Wierwille studied with such men as Karl Barth, E. Stanley Jones, Glenn Clark, Bishop K.C. Pillai, and George M. Lamsa. His formal training included Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Theology degrees from Mission House (Lakeland) College and Seminary. He studied at the University of Chicago and at Princeton Theological Seminary from which he received a Master of Theology degree in Practical Theology. Later he completed his work for the Doctor of Theology degree.
Dr. Wierwille taught the first class on Power for Abundant Living in 1953.

Because whenever somebody holds forth the Word of God today, you will find the word has the same results today as it did then it will also have these different types of grounds spiritually speaking on which it will fall. And this is why we want to study this section together. Tonight is always to laugh, ears to hear, let them do what and this is what I'm saying, again, to you people here tonight and to our people across the country, that those who have ears to hear, let them hear. We've got to hear God's word. We've got to see the principles that God has in his word. Because the word of God operates with the same efficacy, time and time and time again, it never fluctuates, it never buries. When the word is presented, his disciples came and said unto him, verse 10, why speak of style unto them in parables? He said to Jesus, why do you speak parables to the people? He answered instead of them because it's given unto you, those who have ears to hear, it's given to them to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them, who do not have ears to hear. It is was not given. For whosoever hath ears to hear, to him shall be locked, and he shall have more abundance. That's the way to get it. You've got to have ears to hear, Jesus Christ came that we might have life John 1010, that we might have life and have it how more abundantly. Now the only way it's possible to manifest a life which is more than abundant is we have to have lots ears to hear, to hear a lot. God's word that's the only way but whosoever have not have not ears to hear from him shall be taken away even that he has these people who do not have ears to hear when the word is presented, they're going to lose everything they already have. It's just not fair. Therefore speak either them in terrible because they see, they see see not like they've got eyes, they talk religion, they talk Christianity, they talk everything else, but they really never see God's word. All it some see a little segment. Maybe on the new birth. Somebody else sees a little segment on something else, but they really never see the in depth greatness and accuracy of God's words from Genesis to Revelation.

Hearing they do not hear or not, they really don't hear neither when you teach and when you set the word Before them do they watch, because they don't see it, they really don't hear it. And so if you don't see it, if you don't hear it, you can't watch that stall not slow. If you want to understand something, you'll have to see it. And you'll have to really hear it. It's just it's true in every secular field. If you want to be a success in a secular field, you have to see that field in operation and you have to hear how that work is done. You've got to be knowledgeable in the field. Can you get understanding these stupid things short or long for me? This one should say ABC, this one says NBC and that one I can think of but that's the one that's in the lake. But well Bless the Lord very sporty, still in the Word. Understand, and seeing he shall see and shall not look, proceed. For this people's heart is waxed gross. Their ears are duller hearing, and their eyes they have up left at any time, they should see what their ears and eyes and see what their ears maybe good deal, see with their eyes and hear with our watch, and should understand with our heart and should be converted, and I should walk, heal them. But bless it Are your eyes for the lot. So what kind of eyeballs you got blessed one. That's why you don't need any marine or whatever that stuff is put in there to shine. You've got something alive a lot better. It's Christ in you. And when it's Christ in you, Christ, his eyes behind your eyes. He's ears behind your ears. He's touched behind your touch. Boy, oh boy. If this thing ever lives again in our day, and people understand it, and they see it, you know, just change their lives. It'll just turn them on. That's right. It says their eyes are blessed. Why are do we have blessed eyes because we can see God's word. And I want to tell you, most people just don't see God's word. They think they see it. But they don't. Just like the Pharisees in Jesus's day to Abraham's our father. We've got it. Like Jesus said, a diamond John nine that they're born of the seed of the serpent. They were on the religious trip. They prayed at the right time. As a matter of fact, they they tied. So legalistically They must have separated naps or something on their ties. They did the whole trip. sense knowledge wise and yet they did not have ears to hear, nor did they have eyes to say their part. Jesus said to them, you cannot, you cannot understand. You talk about the word speaking, our day and time in our glass are those eyes because Vyas eyes our eyes who see God's word. And your ears are blessed because you do one thing what? Now verse 18, he explains the parable and that takes all the guesswork out of you see if I would have done the old method Teaching or something, I'd have taken the first part of chapter 13, read the parable and then we'd have been off and running. You know, conjecturing doing this kind of trip that kind of trip. But you don't do this because the word always interprets itself. And you just got to read that word and stay reading it until God tells you what it is. And it is what God says it is. Here ye therefore, the parable of the lot, and the only people that can hear it are those who have ears to us. The only people that will see it are those who have eyes to what when anyone here it's already to the kingdom and understand as if not, does not understand it. These are the people in verse 19, whoever receives the seed by watts, though I decided not to have to read a commentary to understand this. Anytime they read a commentary, old understanding why not just read God's word, right? Why read all those other baloney trips and conjectures and all that stuff? Why not just read God's word because it is what it says it is. He that received that seed into stony places, the same as he that hears the word and a non with joy. You know, he he singled it out with joy. He Lombok knows it. If he died here at the word and the care of this world, and the delight in riches, not deceitful nuts, know how they ever got that translation out of the Greek or Aramaic text. The word lift really is and the delight in riches not been wrong and being rich. It's just if you put your faith and trust in it. On the day comes that Christians can afford to make money they better get a new Christ. God's not in the poverty business. And if A Christian businessman cannot equal a Satan businessman. There's something wrong very seriously wrong, is a Christian businessman ought to be the most profitable businessman in the contract. Nothing wrong with it. It's wrong the other way. But the cares of this world, the cares of this world, and the delight in riches. They choke out what's the word? Those are the two great things are choking out the cares of this world. And the delight in lots. Surely I heard very senior tonight. You see, when these men and women sing the songs that just isn't off the top of their hearts. You know, IBM cells know they've been there. They've traveled the route. God redeemed them God save them. God brought them out. Right? When men in the entertainment field like burying the rest can run between six and $1,000 a week. They must be pretty darn good entertainers in the secular world. He knows. One top team out that cares for the world and the delight and want, right, nothing wrong with it. It's just the delight in it. We just have to change fathers and you have to change your attitude. And you have to make a purpose in life as to why you believe God should be. Are you taping this lousy thing? Cut it out? Nobody tapes, anything at the headquarters. Nobody raised that thing. Anything that's taped here goes back on our taping equipment. And if you want a copy, it's given to you we make first class tape. Alright, I don't want anybody taping in this auditory. He knows that he just hadn't been around to view. Try. I know some of you people think there's nothing wrong with this. I'm wrong with it. You want to take tape you asked me that's courtesy. That's Christian culture. I don't walk into your house with my tape recorder and sit down on tape but your wife says to you do I bless God how lucky can you bake that's wrong. You don't do that to me at the way headquarters either you want to take you have come to me and you apologize to me afterwards for blowing there. You should know better. You're Christian. We don't do that things each other as Christians. We make the best tape in the country. I hope they erase what I'm saying. I love you can be it's a delight in riches that does what? That chokes out what? I didn't write the book. Now I know that a lot of you in here some of you in here, don't believe allows you word I'm saying what plays out when you're going to get to God's word. how long you're going to trip out. It's either God's Word or it is either God's rider he's won. And if he's wrong, if you can't trust him here, how you going to trust him in John 316? Come on. If you can trust him here and you can trust him in John 316. How you ever going to trust him about returning? Five, six, either God's word all the way through it as if God lied at one place in His Word. If he just lied at one place and His Word, you haven't got a thing left? That's right. So you just get it together. It's either God's Word or it is now Jesus Christ and he's tops That's right. He said that what would choke out the word were the tears of this love. That's why I teach my classes if you want to travel fast and Faria travel that truck, boy wants you and I need to travel through this world with God gives to us in abundance. But the moment it starts making or care for, you know? Then you better dump it. Or you'll choke out what? And when you start choking out the word you do what the psychologists call rationalization. Yeah, I get it all, but they're really not that wrong. And you see, I still do a lot. Oh, shucks. God's word says you're doing watt. Coconut out. That's right. And the delight in what? What are you working at the job for? Because you want to delight richest? Well, if you do that, when you make a million, you're not satisfied. You want the second when you got the second you want the third? When you got the fourth end up or fifth or 100 million, you end up someplace and I don't know where he is, but he's up someplace who doesn't see anybody, the rich guy. That's what happened. Or maybe you're behind barbed wire fences like getting in England. Well get he isn't getting because he doesn't have ears to hear in our eyes a lot. Not try. And people that's where it gets choked out. Nothing wrong with the word. God's God gave His word for profit, that every man should profit and every man should what live a life that is more than abundant. Sure, they ridicule me and say, Well, Dr. Wierwille says poverty is unnecessary. That's right. I say poverty is unnecessary. You know why? I know what God's Word says. So if nobody ever manifests it, it's still God's word. And it's still true. And I'm sure one thing nobody's tried God's word to just talk about for the most part we've tried all the government programs security from the womb to the tomb trip, but we haven't tried God's word No wonder they say well it doesn't work on work done tried it try if you've never tried God's word it never will work. If there is a god I'm sure he's not as anemic as man and man's doing a pretty big deal once in a while. Amen it's the worried it's gotta be good seat. In good ground is he that Hara alert? He heritage. And when he hears it, it doesn't go clean, clear through. He wants to understand. Understand. Boy your teeth. This is why I teach you in the foundational classes. That to tell people to pray. It's a waste of breath. That's right. To tell people they all had go to a prayer meeting is a bunch of baloney. tell people they ought to be good is a waste of breath. It's a bunch of baloney. To tell people they ought to do so. And so it's just a waste of a large time. We never tell anybody to do anything. We just show them God's word. And then if they want to, they can do it. If they don't want it, they can go straight to hail. Simple, isn't that right? I never asked you to pray, wouldn't ask you to. But I might teach you how to pray, then if you want to pray, you can do it. Right. If you don't want to, you want to go for it. That's the great to teach people what to do. And then if they want to do it, they can do it. Telling me to pray doesn't help me anything. But if you teach me how to pray, if you teach me the techniques, the principles are God's word as to how to do it, then I can do it. It doesn't help anybody to tell them to be a good boy or good girl. You're told that didn't help you any. The thing that has helped us is if somebody taught us how to be a book, good boy, or good girl how to be a good man or a good woman, then we could apply the principles and be good men and women. You'd have to hear it and understand it. And then it bears fruit, and bring your thoughts, some a hundredfold, some 60, and somewhat. And people have had a tremendous problem with that section. But the real truth is the man that brings forth 100 fold is bringing forth full potential, the man bringing forth 60 He's bringing forth his full potential, and the man who's bringing forth 30 is bringing forth his full potential, because God is no respecter of us. And God seed is just as good to you as it is in him or is in you. Then why is it that somebody brings forth competitively 100 fold some 60s, it's just a figure, it's a statement that each one brings to his fullest capacity of believing and manifest God, some people by their natural abilities, the way they're born genetically put together with the little dumb things chromosome through something that hang on to bars, whatever it is. My school teachers are losing their tube you just came from the factory wrapped up this way, you know, daddy and mommy a little bit in it, grandma, grandpa at 50% or 33. And a third great grandma and grandpa slipped in someplace along the line.

And so you came up you have more ability. You know, just like natural birth. Now when you hear that word and you understand it, if you bring full potential, it's the dirty 100 Whatever that ability is with the fullness. That's the beauty trim. And people I love God for His greatness of His words. Because I've lived long enough and so most of you to know that there are some people when they're walking to the greatest of their ability they produce that much and you look at it sense knowledge wise you're somebody else produces that much more. And the world would tend to glorify this man up here and not give this man as much glory right? But God gives equal go right? If God one wonderful bow bow. And then it says in verse 24, he told him another parable. He says the kingdom of heaven is like an under man which sowed good seed and is what we've heard this one before average, not foundation or class and how we get you know, what the good seed is and what the world is you know, we really have a trip in the foundational class showing you how it's handled. You answered and said unto them, that so it's a good thing is the Son of Man. The field is the world, that God sees that good seed. These are, what the children are the kingdom, but the tears, these are the children of art. The enemy that sowed them is the devil, the harvest is the end of us. And the Reapers are the messengers, the angels, the ministers, as therefore the tares are gathered, and burned in the fire, so shall it be in the end of this age, the Son of man shall send forth his angels, or messengers or ministers, and they shall gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and then which do iniquity, and Chuck cast them in the furnace of fire there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth, then shall the righteous shine forth as the son in the kingdom of their Father, who has ears to hear, let him do what? There it is, again, you see how this whole word is tied together? How to seed, the good seed, the enemies, all of these things are taught in God's word. And God's word is God's willing takes all the guesswork out of it. And then you know exactly what God expects of you. In the Great 15th chapter of this particular gospel that scribes and the Pharisees they had, of the religious proof, the echelon, the top echelon, members of the Senate read the 72 ruling body of Judaism. In the temple in Jerusalem, the top brass came to Jesus and they said, Why do die disciples transgressor today Fenerbahce the elders? They didn't say to him, why did they transgress the word? They said to Jesus, that traditional bar and the tradition of elders are man made. And that's what the religious group, the top echelon in religious in the village in the religious group said to Jesus, the scribes and the Pharisees, you know, why are they washed, not their hands when they eat bread? Why not? Isn't that no matter what to do to God's word, you're going to have to defeat this as long as you pray at the right time. Count your beads in the right place. But you're offering at the right place, or Salam at the right time. They never asked about God's word, because the truth of God's word was so far out of their heads, for they had no ears that could hear and they had no eyes that could watch. Therefore they couldn't understand and the only thing they could understand is prediction. Pretty. You answered and send them under them. Why do you transgress the commandment of God? By your love? What does tradition do? It transgresses what the commandments of God and the commandment of God is the word of God. And every time you see tradition, I guarantee you it contradicts God's word. The people are sincere, but sincerity is no guarantee for a lot God's Word is truth. Right? Right. Now he says in the latter part of very sick dogs have he made the commandments of God of law, not affected by your one prediction. And then he's called these religious leaders. In verse seven. He says, You're a lot, hypocrites. Well, did I say a prophesy of you saying that people draweth nigh under me with their mouth? And they honor me with their lips. but their heart is far what did they look religious? Sure, they prayed at the right time. They said God at the right time, they did everything just right, except one thing.

In vain do they worship Me, because they teach for right believing for doctrine? For right believing, they are teaching the commandments of art man called the multitude and set them here. And you'll understand not that which goes into the mouth the file as a man. But that which comes out of the man says they file a command. They file it's not a word. Now Jesus Christ is not saying that you shouldn't wash your hands wouldn't hurt. You know? If you've been playing out in the mud, making mud pies. It's a pretty good idea before lungs to wash your hands. But if you ate food with dirty hands, it wouldn't defile the inner man. It's the inner man. That's the important thing in life. What are we on the inside? Really? Where are we? Where do we stand internally? That's the important point. What kind of a decision have we made? Are we still incarcerated by the traditions and the doctrines of man. If we are, then we're hypocrites, and we're worshipping God is in vain. That's right. And people some of us have just come to the place in our lives. We just do not want to be held in by the doctrines and the commandments of men. But we want to be totally held in by the greatness of His words. His Word will settle for when we got to be able to read it to the end that if we understand it, somebody has to teach us the words. Remember, the Ethiopian eunuch sitting in his chariot, reading Isaiah, fella by the name of Philip hops alongside and pull up today understand what you're reading. He showed up, it just come from the top religious center of the world because the book Act says he had been in Jerusalem for the feasts, and drove them was to be the seat, at least once had been the seat of all great religious troops. He had just come from there. When sort of said to him, do you understand what you're reading? He said, No. Well pray God wanted me to do it in Jerusalem. Somebody in Jerusalem should have taught God's word. But the reason they didn't teach God's word is because they trust tradition and doctrines of art. And so that Ethiopian eunuch headed back home, he still read the Word. And Philip walked on alongside he said, you understand what our readers me said? No. How can I accept some and do what? Teach me? If you want God's people in this day and age in which we live to hear God's word, you teach it

you're always talking anyways, why not just talk God's word? Well, it's a trip, isn't that mostly fine or talking? Then why not taught God's word? Or the average Christian, so embarrassed to talk about God's word, you know, matter of fact, most of them are even scared to carry the Bible. They're embarrassed if they carry the Bible. When I see some of our kids taking their Bibles into bars and laying them down, and say, Now, boy, I saw as good spirits Why not God's word? You know, unless people take this word, and really hold it for there is no like,

the doctrines and the Commandments or manual always in case us always enslave us always make us less than what we want to be. And people it's this swear to god that the only thing I've seen that really sets men and women free. People say to me, I've said it 1000 times, I suppose they'll say to another 100,000 times. They'll say well, then Dr. Wierwille, teaches eternal life, when I'm saved, I can do as I pull a place because I'm still going to have it. That's right. If you want to be a fool, just go ahead and please yourself. They're the ones that said, it's still eternal life. But I happen to know this. And you know it from God's Word. If we want God's word to really live, we've got delivered and tell it like it is, we got all that force. And you can't choke it out. You can't, you know, do that through it, all those other things are worried. And you'll also find it the way to God it tells the record. In fact, whenever the True Word of God is presented, there'll always be three reactions to it. There will be those who believe it, though so desperately that and the third group who says we want to think about it, who joined the second group, because the people who want to think about it are unbelievers. So there basically are always two groups. Those who believe and those who do what? Unbelief or disbelieve, that's all and ladies and gentlemen, it is God's Word that needs to be taught today, with all the guests were taken out of it. All the private interpretation, just let it speak for itself. I have never said that we have the true interpretation or the only accurate interpretation. I've never said, Never will I say it. But I know one who is the true interpretation. I know that the way that God must interpret itself, that I know, God's word says so far it says it's of no private watts. That's right. This is why people why you have life and why you have strength. While we live in a country where you can still talk God's word, I plead with you this week, talk God's word. If you're a business man, it won't hurt you to talk God's Word, God will bless the business. If you're a housewife, and the neighbor calls you on the phone inviter for tea, and it won't hurt you to talk to her about God's Word over D. God has to have us to speak his words, were the only one that he's got only people. Now the way isn't, you know, you and I aren't the only one. But what I mean is, God's people who hear and understand to see and understand are the only people God has to speak toward. So what are you going to do this week in school? And some of you that will be headed back to college, what are you going to talk about? It wouldn't hurt the professor to hear a little bit about the words. And most institutions of lower learning that I know. And in the business shops and across the fence with the neighbors over the telephone. Why not God's word, class. The results of that word, are God's responsibility. But the presentation of it is yours and mine. We are called upon to be faithful stewards of the words. That's our job. As we faithfully presented, the in Greece, that muttering the development of that that's God's job. I can not initiate I cannot save someone. But I can teach the Word that when they believe the word God does lot, save your job and my job is to hold forth the Word of God.

Remember, we receive it out with meekness. We hold it fast, because it's what? That baseboard, and we hold it forth, because it's so worried about. And ladies and gentlemen, that's the only way it works. First, you have to receive it yourself, then you've got to be convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt. You've got to know that you know that you know that you know it's God's word. And then you hold it for as you hold it for the parents people believe it or the disbelief and for those who believe it they receive the results of their believing those who get that even received the consequences of their disbelief. That's the law. And God is a God of law and order. God not a respecter of persons but God is a respecter of his words.

And his word is his with that beautiful, amen, shall we bother? Again, I've done my best tonight to take people into the greatness of your worried and just let them see a little bit of the tremendous amount of truth you have in store for and oh, what a great blessing and joy it is father is seen children, young people and adults rising up to hold forth the greatness of that word. Because you set your word above all your name, you magnified it. You sent Your Word to heal people you sent you're worried that people could be saved because we know that they come it by hearing and hearing comments by one thing the word Father, may we have ears to hear and may we have eyes to see. That we may understand the word that we may be able to bring forth that proved which the word promises will be there to be brought forward when people hear and see that word in the understanding.
