northeast of the city of Sumeria. And as short distance north of the city of just surreal, the vacationing center of Ahab, and its Queen Jezebel was the city of infamy. Located in a beautiful setting of central Galilee, with Mount Carmel, rising high to the west, like to heaven and to the sea, at the same time, the Jordan River off to its east, and the beautiful blue sea of Galilee, some short distance above to the north, in this unique setting, a city always to be remembered because of one woman and one key who called on her. The city is indoor. The woman is the properties of Endor, the King Saul of Israel. I'd like for you to take your Bibles and turn to First Samuel, chapter 28. Many people who have erroneously thought that the dead aren't not dead, but alive after death. Use as their scriptural proof. The episode of King Saul, and the Prophet is of Endor. To understand the circumstances surrounding the meeting of Saul, King Saul and the woman of Endor, a great deal of background is needed. In the third verse of this 28 chapter, we read, First Samuel 28, three. Now Samuel was dead. And all his real had lamented him and buried him in Ramah, even in his own city. And Saul had put away those that had familiar spirits, and the wizards out of the land. And the Philistines gathered themselves together and came and pitched in Truman, show them and saw gathered all Israel together, and they pitched in Gilboa. keeping your finger here in First Samuel, you go to chapter 50. In a number of weeks now, this great subject of the Prophet of the Prophet is a Bandar will be coming out in a book called are the dead alive now. Verse nine, but Saul and the people spared a gag, the best of the sheep, and of the oxen, and the fat links and of the Lambs, and all that was good and would not utterly destroy them. But everything that was vile and refuse that they destroyed utterly. Verse 13, and Samuel came to Saul. And Saul said unto him, Blessed by the Lord, I have performed that commandment of odd. And Samuel said, If that's true, what means the bleaching of the sheep in my ear bowls, oz come on hearing the bleeding of sheep, and the lowering of the oxen, which I want here to. His city, verse 14, but in contrast, now, the spirit that had originally been given from the Lord God, upon Saul, now what the park had promised from what something that cannot happen to the born again believer today because when we're born again, the spirit is born in. But in the Old Testament, it was simply upon them. And when they copped out when they tripped out when they blew it, and if they blew it often enough, whenever God got tired of the bow, and he proved to get away. That's right, and an evil spirit from the Lord, not from the true God, and evil spirit was permitted by the true God. Get trouble, Saul.

Instead, Second Timothy, chapter two verse 26, this evil spirit that was installed. What's not from the true God by permission, yes, but not from the true God. Because the true God does not put devil spirits or evil spirits honor within anybody. Verse 26, and that they may recover themselves out of the snare of luck, who are taken captive by the devil taken captive by him at his devil's luck, right? Every time. So open the door, the captive, the devils came in. But somehow or other when he played music, then they leave and solid get real happy and feel real terrific. Then he'd opened himself and they take control again. In the 28th, Chapter Three Samuel now remember, Satan had worked through people to destroy soul and cause him to sin. Saul at this point was now Satan's man. And Satan could carry out His will. His evil intentions without God's intervention at any time. Because in verse seven, it said, Then said Saul, onto his walk, servants, seek me out a woman that has a familiar spirit, that I may go to her and inquire of her. And his servant said to him, Behold, there is a woman that has a familiar spirit at where, right? It is only when we will, capital W, capital I capital L. L. When we will, to belong to God, and to follow the accuracy of God's word putting on the mind of Christ, that Satan cannot be certain of the outcome. For the Lord watches over his Oh, you are tremendously influenced by the stars, until you get the star, the Lord Jesus Christ God Almighty and yourself. Until that time, astrology pomology. All the rest of the ologies have a tremendous control over the knock trauma in but you abrogate you terminate you stop everything. The moment you get born again a God Spirit and put on the mind that Christ, then he no longer has any control whatsoever. You change the whole mood of the pendulum of your life with the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ, and that's the only way you'll ever do it.

You know, in this chapter 15 that I read to you. Samuel, who had been such a close friend of Saul, who had anointed him King had to totally break off all relationships with Saul. In that 35th verse of First Samuel and 15 A while ago I read and Samuel came to see so no more until the day of his Samuels death. In other words, Samuel never revisited him. So never asked for a revelation from the Lord again. And so without a relationship with God, or saw without a relationship with Samuel, King Saul is beside himself. That's why it said in the word, the Spirit of the Lord departed from Soul, and an evil spirit. From the Lord, that's the lord of this world, Satan troubled him. You see, between First Samuel 15 and 16, those chapters and chapter 28, much commotion intervened. Samuel anointed David as king, and then soon Samuel died. And Saul really lost all of his connections, all of his communications with the true God. Although Saul tried everything he could, his efforts could not restore the lost connection.

So in utter desperation, as told in that verse three. Having put away all those familiar spirits, solid in verse seven, demands to have a personal audience with such a person. See, having lost his connection with God, through disobedience to God's word, saw now grasping for suggestions from Satan. He's lost his connection with a true God. So he just graph for anything that he can get from Satan. And Satan is not reluctant in fulfilling that requirement. So he puts ideas into souls mind, because he knew, they knew that he could influence all through a familiar spirit. And thus not only cause Saul's death, but the death of all of Saul's sons, and the destruction of the army of Israel, and misfortune to the entire nation. Now, verse eight, Saul, disguised himself, and put on other words, Raymond, and he went, and two men with him. And they came to the woman by night. And he saw said, I pray the divine onto me by the familiar spirit, and bring me him up, whom I shall name unto thee. And the woman said unto him, Behold, thou knowest what Saul if done, how you cut off those that have familiar spirits, and the wizards out of the land. Wherefore then lay US dollar snare for my life, to cause me to die. And Sol swear to her by the Lord. Saying, as the Lord limit, there shall not luck. No punishment happened to the for this thing. This prophetess of Endor, the woman of Endor was so stupid, so utterly ignorant, that those three great truths should have told her who it was that came to see her like she had been allowing herself to be possessed for years. And devil spirits eat out your brains. Sales. People talk about what drugs do to the head. No person ever talks about what devil spirits do to the head. And there are a lot worse than drugs. People who give themselves over to double spirits and who are occupied in the mind by familiar spirits over a period of time, they just absolutely lose their gray matter. They are stupider than stupid when it comes to general living and life. The only time they're smart and sharp is when the Spirit takes over and that it isn't them. It's the spirit and then they're sharper to meatball. But until that Spirit takes over, they're dumber than dumb. This woman didn't recognize the great king of Israel. soldier who stood head and shoulders above every man in the nation. didn't recognize him that he came with two men when he came. The third one I forgot gave it to Ulala go. Boy, she she does stupid. Oh, the third one is only the king could make this type of declaration. Verse 11, Then said the woman and you'll note I do not refer to her as the Witch of Endor, which is a common usage for I refer to her in the biblical sense of the woman of Endor who was a prophetess.

He's the one that said, well, that must be Samuel. And he stooped with his face to the ground and bowed himself. Why in the world would Samuel come to see Saul after he's dead when he wouldn't come to see him when he's living? And Samuel said to Saul, now this is all through the woman remember this? Now this spirit takes over the vocal cords, the mouth, the lips, the tongue, of the woman of Endor. And through the woman's lips, says to Saul, why has thou the squad and made to bring me up? And Saul answered, I'm sorry, distressed, I'm at my wit's end. For the Philistines make war against me, and God has departed from me. And answer it me No Lord, neither by prophets, nor by dreams. Therefore I've called thee that thou mayest make known unto me what I shall do, man by moment you give yourself over to the devil and say, you tell me what I'm to do are carried out. You have given them a tremendous invitation, and they will not hesitate to oblige you. Then said Samuel Wherefore then does don't ask me sing the Lord's depart From the and it's become dine enemy. Once it comes into manifestation, once it said once it's spoken, once it's written down, he can know. Moreover, the Lord will also deliver Israel with the into the hands of the policeman, and tomorrow shall thou and thy sons they want all glory, ha, ha, ha, who's the author of death, he ought to know about Saul being with him tomorrow, because all just sold out to him.

And a counterfeit always resembles the genuine so perfectly, that only a qualified person in that certain field can distinguish between them. Therefore, Satan's deceit can often be very, very, very effective. Because Satan can initiate, he can imitate, he can counterfeit anything, so long as he is familiar with the original. Satan had access to the knowledge of everything that a man does. While that man's on Earth. Satan knew all about Samuel, what he looked like, how he dressed, what His voice sounded like, what he had said and done, and so on. And so Satan you, the prophet is the woman of Endor, who had a familiar spirit, a spirit, obedient to the woman's own beck and call to come in when she wanted him to leave when she no longer needed he used this to counterfeit Samuel by materialization and impersonation. Last, there's not one fact. In all First Samuel 28 That brings out any evidence which Satan could not know about salts, person and circumstances. For all these things brought out in First Samuel 28 had been told before, with the exception of one thing, what? Saul's death? That's right. And death is of the devil anyways, therefore, he would be able to say, Tomorrow this time, you'll be walking dead, right? Remember Hebrews 214 for death is an herb, that diable he rose to 14. Last, Samuel himself never appeared in salt, sea ons with the properties of indoor. Samuel was dead, and will not be alive again until the resurrection. But the woman of Endor being controlled by a familiar spirit, impersonator impersonated the dead Samuel by materialization and this to the satisfaction of Saul and say, class If the dead are not dead, until the gathering together or the resurrection, then by sheer logic, Satan is not counterfeiting the reappearance of the dead if and when he materializes them. But if the dead are dead, and stay dead until the return or the resurrection, then Satan simply is the impersonating the departed dead by familiar spirits who dwell in people's minds operating and controlling the individual they possess, even to the end of using their book or card, changing the possess one's physical appearance also, by these imitative mean, Satan tries to deceive the very intellect of God. And ladies and gentlemen, he is doing a mighty good work today. Since the dead remain dead until the return Satan's impersonations are all fraud. They are the work of familiar spirits. If the dead are alive, then their reappearance or materialization is not caused by Devil spirits. But if the dead are dead, and stay dead until the return or the resurrection, then anyone, anyone who claims to the contrary, or supposedly reproduces them in any way, is absolutely a fraud. Because such acts are perpetrated by Satan himself in order to deceive, and to cause people to worship and obey Him. And not 21st Very surprised Samuel.
