Let's take their Bibles and turn to Romans chapter eight. Course Romans is the second greatest book addressed to the church as far as doctrine, addressed to the church. Ephesians was the first greatest revelation that Romans was written regarding the legal aspects of our redemption or salvation. And there's many tremendous things to be gathered from the book of Romans, as we get as we read in it and study it. And then Romans chapter eight, beginning in the first part, it admonishes us to walk by the Spirit, not by the senses, but the walk by the Spirit. And I just like to begin reading Romans eight tonight. And we've read this chapter perhaps, what 100 times I don't know. How many would say you've read this chapter at least 10 times in your life. So your hands? Well, great. How about 20? Maybe 20? Yeah. That is another tremendous chapter. So let's begin in verse one. It says, There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus. And of course, the rest of the verse is not in the critical Greek texts. For the law, the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin condemned sin in the flesh, that the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the what? The spirit that's right. There's two walks mentioned in this chapter, the walk by the flesh and the walk by the Spirit, verse five, For they that are after the flesh to mind the things of the one and they but they that are after the Spirit, the things of the Spirit, verse six, For to be carnally minded is death. But to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God. For it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot do up. Right they that are in the flesh cannot please God, it's impossible to please God by your five senses, by trying to do what looks good, and by your five senses by trying to walk by what man proclaimed, or by putting the flowers in the right place, or the candlesticks or the speaker, wearing your time to write. These are all words to the flesh, right? The impossible by for the five senses man, the carnal man to please God. But verse nine, you are not in the flesh, but in the walk. That's right. If so be that the Spirit of God was aware, well, does he dwell in you? Are you convinced? How do you know? You speak in tongues? You got the proof in the senses, World of the internal reality and presence don't you?

03:39

You're not in the flesh, but in the spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God well in you. Now, if any man have not the Spirit of Christ is not offense. But if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But verse 11, if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwelling you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quick and your more mortal bodies by His Spirit that dwells within you. Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. For a fee, live after the flesh, you shall die. But if you through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, you shall live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For if you have not received the spirit of four, you have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear. But you have received the Spirit of sonship the word adoption should be sentient, whereby we cry, Abba Father, and only a son can call a man father, right? That's, that's why you can cry a father. That's the reason you can call God your Father, if he hadn't fathered you, you couldn't call him your father. Verse 16, The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God, that we are children of God. And if children, then heirs, heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if so be that we suffer with Him that we must also be also glorified together. Look at that. Again, something we've read over 100 times. We are children of God, if children then we're heirs heirs of God and joint heirs with That's right, we're joined ears, we share in that that riches that God has his inheritance for the saints. Look at verse 18. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that shall be revealed in us. Look at them. I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that shall be revealed in us. Isn't that something? Born out of care where what it is today, there's nothing that you can hold a match to. There's nothing that's equal to that which shall be revealed and us in the future. That just make your heart thrill. Where are we makes mine thrill. Verse 19. Four, the earnest expectation of the Creation should be creation, waited for the manifestation of the sons of God. Because since the beginning of time, since the fall of man, man has waited for what was received on the day of Pentecost, what was made available on that day. Look at verse 24, the creation was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who has subjected the same and hope. Because the creation, itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know, that the whole creation grown up and travail us in pain together until now, and not until when, until now. And not only they but ourselves also which have the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for sonship, the redemption of our body. For we were saved, were saved in the Greek text, eras tense. We were saved, to hope. We were saved to hope. We're not We're not are saved or present tense, we have been saved. We were saved past tense. We were saved to hope. But hope that is seen is not hope. You have to hope for things that are in the future. In the Old Testament, they hope for what was available, didn't they? They look forward to the coming of Jesus Christ. They look forward to the coming of the Messiah. But when he was come, they didn't have to hope for it anymore. They didn't have to hope. Because it was there. It was available at that time and on the Day of Pentecost, no Holy Spirit was given, which things angels desire to look into remember.

08:57

Hope that is seen is not hope for what a man says why does he have hope for if it's available? Now it goes on hoping for some it's in the future. Right? It's available. Now. Look at verse 25. But if we hope for that which we see not, then do we with patience wait for likewise, the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities for we know not what we should pray for as we ought. But the spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be added. And he that searches the hearts North what is the mind of the Spirit? Because he maketh intercession for the saints according to God. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God to them who are called according to His purpose. For whom he did for know he did what? That's right whom he did for now. He did predestinate if you want to know what your predestinated two, or what you were predestinated to, all you have to do is read the first chapter of the book of Ephesians. And it lays it right out, tells you what it was that we were predestinate to, but whom he did foreknow. He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son, that there's one thing to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Verse 30, moreover, whom he did, predestinate let me also what and whom he called, he did what he justified, whom He justified, he also glorify, that's right, well, are you glorified? Right? You're already 31 What shall we say them? What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? Remember that one? How can be against them?

11:06

Are you convinced? Who can be against us? Can be against no one. I don't think everybody's convinced. If God before us who can be against us? The few more convinced that. That's right. If God before us, nobody can be against us. They may try.

11:37

But if God before us, nobody can stand up and take away that which you have in Christ Jesus. Absolutely nobody. Nothing. There's no element can take away what you have in Christ Jesus. If God before us who can be against us, though that's right. Look at verse 32. He that spirit not His own Son, but delivered Him up for a saw, how shall we not with Him also freely give us all thing? So it reminds me of the story of he. Remember, God said of the tree. Now Man Of every tree of the garden army is freely under the tree of knowledge of good and evil? No, no, you'll surely die. Well, look here. How shall he God not with him? Also, freely give us what? All thing? That's right. Well, suppose I want to leave that word freely out. How shall he not with him also give us all things? provided? You know, we pay a little bit that what it says, What happens when you leave one word out of God's Word? You don't have God's word left. Do you that Eve haven't when she left one word out. No, that's right. She left one word out. Then she added a word. Later on. She changed the word and before you knew it, she had the direct opposite of what God's Word. God said you shall surely die. And the thing that she came up with the devils out was You shall not surely die. Now you want to leave one word out of the word. There's a good way to start just like he did. How shall he not with him also give us no no. freely give us all thing? That's something boy don't get tripped up on one little word. Because that's where you started down the drain remember? 33 Who shall lay anything to the charge of God's elect? God that justify? He gonna lay anything to your chart. Verse 34, who is he that condemned Christ that died? Yeah, rather than it's risen again, who who was even at the right hand of God who is also making the intercession for us as he got to condemn us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation? Distress persecution, famine, nakedness, peril or soar? As it is written, for thy sake, we are killed all the day long we are counted as sheep for the slaughter. Is that the way it's going to be? May verse 37. In all these things, we are what? Yeah, we're not just conquerors. Man. We are more than conquerors. we're more than conquerors. more than conquerors through him that loved it. For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, that includes both the holy angels and unholy angels. nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus the Lord. Well, is there anything going to separate? You? Know, that's it. And we just make up our mind. The trap, tremendous chapter, this eighth chapter of the book of Romans, it's loaded with things that we've put on, that we've read time and time again. And incidentally, you ever want to build yourself up on something, read the book of Romans chapter eight, or read the book of Ephesians, all the way through, or the book of Colossians, the book of Philippians, just read these books through man, they're just loaded. They're just packed with what you are in Christ Jesus, and it'll give you a lift for the day that sets you up on Cloud 17 and get you off on the right foot. That's right. Okay. But now, chapter eight, tells you first of all, it begins telling you to walk by the Spirit, not by the flesh, right? Then it tells you what you are in Christ Jesus again. And that nothing, nothing can separate you from the love of God. There's absolutely nothing that can separate you from the love of God, that when God made you his son, he predestinated you to be conformed to the image of His dear Son, He put you together, he gave you an inheritance, that you're a fellow heir or joint heir with Christ. Man, that's something that he gave you all these things he called you, he justified you He glorified you, if God before us who can be against us, who shall lay anything to the charge the gods? In all these things, we are what? more than conquerors That's right, more than conquerors May, and we ought to put up our victory sign. Those of you weren't here. I may know what that means. Oh, my goodness. For those of you who weren't here at the Youth advance, that stands for what double victory, the word over the world and the way how's it? Well, at any rate, Roman says that nothing shall separate us from the love of God. Nothing, nothing. And it says in all things, we are more than one conquerors. That's right. Now, it's a beautiful chapter. Then chapters 910, and 11, are not addressed to the church. As a distinct we says in various verses throughout this, these three chapters, and chapters nine through 11, are setting the book of Romans as a parentheses, which is a legitimate figure of speech. There are parentheses. And therefore, reading on from Chapter Eight to chapter 12, we would get a significant flow of exactly what Paul was saying to the church. But he put this parenthetical phrase in here, which amounted to three chapters, in this instance, to explain the relationship of Israel and the Gentiles to the Church of God. But now remember what Paul just finished saying in chapter eight, what you are in Christ, that you're joined air, that you're a son of God conformed to the image of His dear Son, that you've got power, that nothing can separate you from the love of Christ, that we are more than conquerors. Now, look at chapter 12. The first word should be therefore happens to be the bout the fourth word here. Therefore, as a result of what you are in Christ Jesus, we are more than conquerors, right? Nothing can separate us from the love of God. Therefore, I beseech you, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, not a dead sacrifice, a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God. which is your reasonable or religious service. And be not conformed to this world to be conformed is to be fashioned to be fashion to have the fashion of the world. Don't be conformed to this world, don't put on the, you know, pink shirts, white ties, that kind of stuff. No fashion in a mental sense against the purposes of God because you've got it in here, you've got the love of God in here. You've got everything that God made you say, why why be conformed or fashion according to the world in your mind. be not conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your love. Right? And of course I word transformed as a word Metamorpho from which we get our English word metamorphosis, which means the change you know form like from that, I always think that we're that caterpillar. That changes you know, goes through the pupa stage, and ultimately into the butterfly. Now which would you rather look at while you're eating dinner? The caterpillar or the butterfly?

21:22

Which would you rather look at while you're eating dinner? Water? Yeah, I'd rather look at the butterfly. That's right, when it changed from that scrawny little old worm, butter Caterpillar into that big beautiful butterfly. That's metamorphosis. How about a metamorphosis of your mind, as was saying, Be transformed. A metamorphosis? By renewing your mind, renewing your mind, putting in your mind those thoughts which you have in Christ Jesus, put on the mind that Jesus had our Christ had remember that one, Philippine wasn't? Where it says, Put on those thoughts? Which Christ hands. Right, by the renewing of your mind, putting on the mind like we just read in chapter eight. Why do we have to confess the negatives, the defeat the frustrations? Why do we have to go around carrying everybody else's burdens? Right? Why can't we confess that positive word of God, put that on renewing our mind, make that mind a beautiful butterfly, instead of that scraggly little worm? Why not change it into that beautiful butterfly, put on that word of God, that word of God in the mind. That you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. And that's the only way you can prove what is a good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Therefore, I beseech you, brother, as a result of what God has made you in chapter eight, now, don't be conformed to this world fashion like under this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, put on in your mind those thoughts which a word has, instead of the thoughts which Johnny jump up or your neighbors want you to have put on the thoughts that Christ put on the thoughts of the word, put them on. Verse three, four, I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think. but to think soberly, according as God has dealt to every man the measure of fate. And everybody has taken this verse and says, I don't think too high about yourself. Get yourself down here where you belong, brother, you know? Do you know what that verse is saying? Look at it. You can read it from the English you don't even need to agree. according as God to think soberly, according as God has dealt to every man, the measure of luck. Well, whose faith they have the faith of Jesus Christ. That's right. Well, then were you gonna put your thinking down here? Well, how much faith that Jesus Christ had yet you're thinking about belongs That's right. I didn't write it. The major I think, get your thinking up where it belongs. Be sober, don't be drunk, right? Be sober, think sober. Put your thinking up there where Jesus Christ but but on the thoughts that Jesus Christ had. First of all, For us, we have members many members in one body, and all members have not the same office. So we being many are one body in Christ, and everyone members one of another, having them gifts differing according to the grace that has given them to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith, or ministry, let us wait on our ministry or he that teach us on teaching, or he that exhorted on exhortation or he that give let him do it with simplicity, he that ruler with diligence, a that show of mercy, with cheerfulness. Now, notice all this really deals with renewing of the mind after what God has made you in Christ Jesus, He put all these things in here. Now he says, Be transformed by the renewing of your mind, and think soberly. Get your thoughts up here, according to the faith of Jesus Christ,

26:05

don't think down here, get them up here where they belong. Now verse nine, let love be without the simulation unfeigned without the simulation means unfeigned or with no false pretense, don't put on a big show.

26:29

What a big show, watch and solvent or something really big. Well, don't let your love be with false pretenses don't put on a big show people. But let it be that real love of God in the renewed mind in manifestation. You know, let it be a part of you know false pretense, a more that which is evil. Cleave to that which is good. Got that clean

27:05

verse 10 bit guidance, kindly affection one to another with brotherly love. In honor preferring one another. Not slothful in business. Don't be lazy. Don't be slothful in business. Forever fervent in the spirit, serving the Lord. That word fervent is white hot.

27:31

White Hot, white hot so hot as you can get isn't white hot. be white, hot. White Hot in the spirit, man. You're on fire. Start moving.

27:46

serving the Lord. Verse 12, rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing instant in prayer. Distributing to the necessity of saints given to hospitality. Bless them which persecute you. bless and curse not. Rejoice with them. They do rejoice. Yeah, somebody is happy. If they are rejoicing, they've got joy. Rejoice with them and weep with them that they want. Right if they've got something on their heart, they need left uplifting. Lift it with them. Be with them. That's that empathy thing. Verse 16, Be of the same mind. Same mind, one toward another. My not Hi things that condescend to men of lower state. Be not wise in your own conceit. Recompense to know man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. If it be possible, as much as life in you, live peaceably with all men. Dearly beloved events not yourselves, but rather give place under the wrath. For it is written, VENGEANCE IS MINE, I WILL REPAY set the Lord. Therefore, if thine enemy hunger, they will feed him. If he thirst, give him the drink. For In so doing, thou shalt burn him alive. Though, thou shalt he pulls a fire on his head, it's an Orientalism. In the east, they put these pots, you know, on the the young man's head and it was well insulated. They put these coals and he would go around to light the people's fire in the evening and in no way scorched him, but it just kept him warm, kept him warm as he was going from house to house. Burning, warm, beautiful Orientalism for him. So doing thou shalt warm him up, he calls the fire as you will mourn him being not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good this chapter 12 verses nine through 21 as a number of tremendous principles on human relations. Or Moreover, I'd say spiritual human relations, putting on that love of God in your mind, putting on the thoughts that Christ had, and then living living in in your life. Because you've already got everything you need to be in Christ Jesus right. Now, all you have to do is put it on here. And there's a lot of people out in this hungry world that need help need knowledge of God's Word. These people I'm going to help. This is the people I think you want to help people who are hungry and thirsting for righteousness, because they're going to be what? Failed. So all we have to do is get out there, find those people. And just lay that word to say, Here it is. Here's that word. Look how beautiful, the cow loving this word of God, yes. And this word of God, as I think we're seeing now, is affecting more minds and more lives in this nation, and around the world than any other singular factor in our day in time. Like we just heard from Dr. Wall and from Reverend Townsend and Donny feud. What's happening in Wichita. Let's state just had a statewide meeting. California. Look how California is moving. North Carolina, New York, Minnesota, Florida. Wherever our people are, they're holding forth that word. And it's it's almost like a disease like Wichita. You know, a couple states around it started catching on to the thing. So but it's a good disease awkward. Yeah. But think about Australia, Dr. Wade hauling for the word there in Sweden, our metrics, and India, England, Samoa, smaller Doctor Plessy, and any other many other places where people are just there. And that word is a prevailing factor. I don't think there's anything why No, there isn't anything else in this world today that will keep this world free, will keep our nation free, and will allow us to move with the freedom that we have. I don't think there's anything that's causing this except the word. It's like we prayed here the other evening. One of the things we prayed for was for our nation, that our men could make the right decisions that this nation could stay free, that we could be free to move with God's word. And it says to do this in God's word, praying for kings and governors and so on, that we can, you know, move with freedom. But it's for one purpose, and that's getting God's word. That God's word can live in the hearts of people. That God's word can stand above all else. Some people may trip out from time to time on God's word. Well, I've tripped out from time to time to that I've gotten back in there. But only God's word can keep you on that right track. Only God's word. People, I love you. Thank God for all of your life.

34:21

I thank God for this light. Let's pray. Our gracious heavenly Father, only you know what's in each of our minds and what's on our hearts. Therefore, Father, I thank thee for thy great love and like peace that just surrounds us. And I thank the Father for Dr. Wierwille, who's on his way back. And for his life and his family father, and for their dedication to this ministry that they have held forth this word throughout the century throughout the years father We could hear it today. Father, you're such a loving God, who would think to have called somebody like me and set us apart father in this day in time. I thank thee for like continual, watchful, surrounding arms as they just courtesy. And as they strengthen us, day by day, and I thank thee for the fellowship here tonight, Father, for all your wonderful people. I thank you for the fellowship afterwards downstairs, as our people will be sharing some of the things in their lives that they've encountered with AI word during the past week. I thank the Father for the fellowship around a cup of coffee or whatever they'll be doing, Father, that they'll be sharing with each other some of those incidents, or some of those great things that they found in my word, that Thai word may truly be a layup to their feet and a light to their path. That we just rejoice, father and continually rejoice with one another. Because we know you've set us free. And when you set us free Father, we know we're set free. For this, we thank you through Thy Son Jesus Christ.
