Victor Paul Wierwille was a Bible scholar and teacher for over four decades.
By means of Dr. Wierwille's dynamic teaching of the accuracy and integrity of God's Word, foundational class and advanced class graduates of Power for Abundant Living have learned that the one great requirement for every student of the Bible is to rightly divide the Word of Truth. Thus, his presentation of the Word of God was designed for students who desire the in-depth-accuracy of God’s Word.
In his many years of research, Dr. Wierwille studied with such men as Karl Barth, E. Stanley Jones, Glenn Clark, Bishop K.C. Pillai, and George M. Lamsa. His formal training included Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Theology degrees from Mission House (Lakeland) College and Seminary. He studied at the University of Chicago and at Princeton Theological Seminary from which he received a Master of Theology degree in Practical Theology. Later he completed his work for the Doctor of Theology degree.
Dr. Wierwille taught the first class on Power for Abundant Living in 1953.

I'd like for you to take your Bibles, please. And turn to the Gospel of John, chapter 10. The entire work of the way ministry, and the outreach around the world is so singling the least significant from this scripture that is used to open their foundation applause. Because it was this scripture that remade my life. It made it so completely and totally that the ministry that is moving today around the world, is perhaps the result of the tremendousness of this verse. In John chapter 10, verse 10, the thief comments not but for to steal and to kill and to destroy. I am come, Jesus said that they might have life and that they might have inhale more abundantly. This is an advanced plan. We're interested in this class, to tapping into those resources, which will make it possible for you, to engender in your life in the very depth of fiber of your being these truths from God's Word, which will make it possible for you minute by minute and day by day to live a life, which is more than about the teeth come at not but for his feel, and to kill into this role. All of us have been on those trips to happen. We have been taken advantage of we've lived below par, we've tripped out we flipped, we did lots of other things. But for those of us in the advanced class that day is over with, we have only one desire one purpose in life. And that is how can we get more the good stuff we've got so we can help more people with what they need. That's why you're in the advanced plus, the advanced class is not for knitting gum boots. Tried it isn't for people who just want to hear me teach the word when I get into it, to thrill their brains sales with the accuracy of the word. It isn't for that they advanced classes designed for men and women who want to help men and women. That's what it's for. For men and women who want to reach out, we want to do something with it for God in this day and time in our in which we live. That's what the advanced class is designed for, to help you so you can help somebody else. Now there is no use talking about helping somebody else until you first get help draw. I'd like these followers that run around talking about speaking in tongues, they don't even speak in tongues themselves. How can they help anybody with speaking in tongues, they don't know nothing. You see, you've got to experience the reality of the presence of the new birth first yourself before you can talk to somebody else about the new birth. Or they'll know you're a counterfeit, they know you're just flipping off the top of your brain sales, you're really not genuine. Now Jesus Christ came that we might have life and have it more abundantly. And this class is in that category of the reality that makes life more dine abundant. God never made a defeat. God never made a failure. God never meant for us to be defeated, full of fear, worry, anxiety, frustration. God never made it that way. If I'm living that way, it's because I'm living below par, living below my spiritual privileges. And God's no respecter of persons, what they'll do for me, you'll do for you, what they'll do for you will do for me, and what he did back here, once you'll do again and again and again, when we understand the word and believe what God's Word says. Now, in order to tap into these tremendous resources in the advanced cloud, there are some very basic scriptures that we'll have to look at. He feeds and chapter one please. I suppose you people are taking the foundational class would pretty well known that the advanced class would open basically with ease, because of all the revelations that have ever been given to the church. No revelation equals the revelation given in the book of the Ephesians it's the par excellence, the Magnasco molality, whatever you want to call it, it's just it. That's all you get to the place that you may know. Whenever you have to argue something you really don't know it. Because truth needs no defense class. Err need to defend. Whenever you tell a lie, you gotta remember. Tell the truth and forget about it right? Because the next time they pin you down, you'll tell the same thing. It's that she may know that she may know, man What a trip that is to get to the place that you know and you don't argue about it. You simply set it before people in all of its simplicity that if they want it praise the Lord if they don't want it, we love them anyway. That's beautiful. What else does it say? Well that you may know what is the hope of is one And that you may know what the riches of the glory of His inheritance is in the saints. That's what I'm going to teach you what he's got he knew because God has an inheritance in you, everybody everybody's always talking about their inheritance in God, you know, and what they expect to get like pie in the sky and all that other stuff. That's beautiful. You like pie? Most of us do. But what about his inheritance in us? What's God God he knew when I trip out? Somebody takes the brunt of this thing. That you may know, the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the thing, verse 19. And what is the exceeding greatness of His power? It's not greatness class. It's watts. exceeding greatness. That's a mind blower, isn't it? It's not just greatness. It is greatness. That's greatness. That's greatness. It's exceeding greatness of His power. To us who do one thing what belief and you can't believe if you don't know.

That's why we need our eyes and like that we may know. To us word who believes, according to the working of his mighty power, verse pointy, which he wrought in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead, and study about his own right hand in the heavenly places, verse 21, far above all principality, and power in Might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to our glory. Hallelujah. That's true. We're on the road boy. Ah, if that's true, we're on the road. If it isn't true, Christianity hasn't done a lousy thing we ought to dump it. Either. He told the truth three lies. Like in John 10. When he said he came in we might have life and have it more abundantly. He's or told the truth or a lie. Right? Well, he said him far above all principality, and power, and my dominion. And everyone, then is the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, above the name of the President of the United States. A man is that above the man who pulls all the strings in your community, and when he pulls people jump off? Yeah. We always jump for the wrong thing. My Bible says that he said his name above every name, and that settles it for me. That's why I don't bow at men's names. I don't give a hoot who you are.

Oh, either common are gone. How far up the ladder you've slid or how low down you've climbed. I don't care. Right. You just have to learn to put up with my idiosyncrasies, all this stuff. Why we can turn the United States upside down in the next three months for God if we really believe what God's word says the next couple of weeks. And by the way, Sunday nights are open. It's the word that says men and women because God honors his words better than a banker and if you're a banker didn't honor his words. You most likely put bank in with him right? Okay, let's keep us logical with God as you are with a banker because I think God just about as good as the banker. He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we can ask for things according to the power that that work with a new within me, how much power are you working? Things had Life magazine there put the writer and photographer at where we live, right? At rye last week, last weekend when I was there. And he had arranged for her to wrap with me a little bit before we went to a meeting. And I said to her I think Steve was there and hurted. I said honey 15 years ago, I'd appreciate it if somebody would have written a good story on the way magnets on the way ministry in itself. But today I said we don't need trust. 15 years ago, nobody believed God's word in the whole United States. Or as I was concerned on the accuracy of it, no one, whatever, think about it. But today when it's rolling, you know and people getting excited, you turn on stable communities like dry with God's word, which is the sixth wealthiest community in the United States dollar and cents wise, prestige wise, when you turn a community on fire with God's word, then they get excited. I said we don't, we don't need a newspaper. We don't need a national periodical to write it. Because it lives in our people. And when it lives in our people, we all write it. But I said if you write it like it ought to be written, and God gets the glory and His Word is held up right? And no shenanigans. I'll still thank God if you right. That's where we left, right? Boy, be strong in home. Most people play politics all their life. They're never get strong in the Lord. They're always looking for another person who's strong, who's armed, they can lean on whom they can turn out at something. It's a vicious system. In the Old Testament, it says we don't lean on the arm of man. We don't even lean to our own understanding. We lean to the revelation of His Word. And it says we're to be strong in hope. That's what he says. That's what it means. Now we we have no objection to other people, we praise the Lord. But for us to lean on them. Don't do ever do it in the advanced class. The moment you start leaning on somebody, you got tripped out, you've got to lean on the Lord and you just stay put on the Lord. If somebody else comes along it's beautiful. If they don't come along, you stay on the Lord. You'll get tripped out before this week silver with if you don't believe that verse. I've been there 1000 times So I pretty well know how hard the lolly is when you run your head up against the title. It's right at a felon a class down in Fort Myers, Florida. Life is also something he was taking 23 drums and they said he couldn't live over two weeks live during the course of the class that took two weeks. Then he got totally healed. And he's boy, he was just hiring a tightwad way up and out. If I have waited for that 10 million million I'd have been over in the poorhouse or someplace rough. I thought for a long time was coming. But finally after six or eight months, a lie on the side, I finally figured out the Lord said He was a strength of my life, shall I be afraid. So I Finally Quit tripping out on the Lord and said, Lord, if you're going to do the job, you have to do it. Because we've got a man capable to do with it. Nobody believed would not be the tremendous truth. The strong a nerve, and the advanced class, you've got to get to the place. We thank God for any man, any woman, but we don't rely upon them. We rely upon our Lord. Be strong in who? The Lord. That's what he says. That's what it means. And you just write it in your mind the first night of this advanced plan. Some of these breakthroughs I'm teaching you at the opening session will be where Satan will endeavor to trip you out. As the days and weeks and months of your life go on.

Be strong in the Lord and in the power of his life. Mike, now if you're going to do that, you've got to put on very syllable. Put on the whole armor of God, put on the whole armor of God. Anything you can put on or I can put on has to be worked right. Anything God does is great. Now we're to put it on, we're to put on the whole armor. Now how in the world can a man face Put on the whole armor? It'd be just born again of God's Spirit. That's why this advanced class is a class on putting on all the armor. We're going to deal with where the knowledge where the wisdom, how it operates, how you operate it, how you utilize it. Where the knowledge where the wisdom, discerning of spirits. We could use a little of that today in our culture faith miracles and healing. It says where to put on the whole armor of God. But when he says put it on what does it mean? Or did he doesn't say argue about it. He doesn't say listen to your neighbor he says study to show yourself approved under God by rightly dividing the word you put on the armor according to lots of words.
