Victor Paul Wierwille was a Bible scholar and teacher for over four decades.
By means of Dr. Wierwille's dynamic teaching of the accuracy and integrity of God's Word, foundational class and advanced class graduates of Power for Abundant Living have learned that the one great requirement for every student of the Bible is to rightly divide the Word of Truth. Thus, his presentation of the Word of God was designed for students who desire the in-depth-accuracy of God’s Word.
In his many years of research, Dr. Wierwille studied with such men as Karl Barth, E. Stanley Jones, Glenn Clark, Bishop K.C. Pillai, and George M. Lamsa. His formal training included Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Theology degrees from Mission House (Lakeland) College and Seminary. He studied at the University of Chicago and at Princeton Theological Seminary from which he received a Master of Theology degree in Practical Theology. Later he completed his work for the Doctor of Theology degree.
Dr. Wierwille taught the first class on Power for Abundant Living in 1953.

go to Romans chapter 15. The theme for the youth advanced of course has been enthusiastic living. And as Jeff Dudley saw Abel abled Lee consulted Webster and other sources this afternoon and gave you an accurate word on the meaning of the word enthusiastic. It is very, it is just not necessary for me to say much about it. He gave you the Greek words for the word enthusiastic, which he acquired for, as he said from Webster. But it's in the Greek text to the words our aim fails. In God, they have been translated over in English, in the word enthusiastic. The basic root of this word means supernatural inspiration. And you and I know supernatural inspiration can come from one of two sources. It can either come from the true God or it can come from BU. That's why and Susie gastic living is manifested in the satanic world, as well as in the true world of the sons of God. For the most part, you've seen more enthusiastic living in the satanic world in your lifetime, than you have seen among Christian believers. But that day is changing. And the time is changing, because of the ministry that we believe God has put in our hearts and souls, for this day in time and as the supernatural inspiration, meaning enthusiastic living this, as is what we follow from the true God, which we get from his word. The scripture verse for this youth advance was that great 13, verses a 15 Chapter, now the God of hope, fill you with all joy and peace in believing that you may have bound in hope, through the power of a new Mahaki own Holy Spirit. I have taught you in the classes across the country, that there are three words, which you must understand, hope, faith, and love, or faith, hope and love as they're given in Corinthians. The word faith is the word believing anything which is immediately available to us now, we'll in the Bible, use the word believing anything which is available to us in the future, but not in the immediate present, is always the word hope. Then it is love, the god pail type of love, which activates both our believing for the immediate present, as well as our hope for the future. This is why First Corinthians 13 sets it that way. Now abideth, faith, hope, love these three, the greatest of these is love, love, because love activates. Love activates both our believing as well as our hope. Anything that you can hope for you can't have now people say, well, they hope someday to get a prayer answered, well, as long as they keep hoping that someday will never come. Because for them when they say they hope. They are simply saying they can't have it now. Anything that you and I can have now has to be immediately available to us. And it is the word believing. That's why the Bible does not speak of believing for heaven. Now it speaks of having the hope to go to have an art the hope of Christ's return.

You can't believe for Christ's return because it's not immediately available right now. Could be a second from now. But if it was a second later, it has to be biblically in the usage of the word hope. And that's one reason why this verse just struck me when I got into looking at it in its depth again, this 13 Verse Now the God believing, no, the god of luck, hope. And therefore, though the moment I see the word hope, I know that what it's saying here is not presently are immediately available you'll have to go back to verse 11, or 10. someplace in here, I don't care where you go, you just got to go back to get the context to see why the word hope is you. And again, verse 10, he says, Rejoice you Gentiles, with his people, brutal every now and again praise the Lord all ye Gentiles and laudium all you people. Verse 12, and again, is is our Isaiah says, There shall be a root of Jesse, and he shall rise to reign over the Gentiles in him shall the Gentiles trust. You see, in context, what he's talking about, was going back to the Old Testament, when Christ had not yet lot, come. That's why the Gentiles could only hope. Isaiah could only speak of this root of Jesse, that would rise and reign over the Gentiles in the future, in his in him shall the Gentiles lock. Trust. Here is the cross of Jesus Christ or the coming of the Lord and the cross of Jesus Christ. Now in the Old Testament, the believers look forward that day, you and I look back to it, for everything was wrought in Christ Jesus. Therefore, in Isaiah day when he prophesied about the coming up the Lord Jesus Christ out of the root of Jesse, it was still future, therefore they had to use the word hope. The God of hope, you understand? It is it is singularly significant that the city of Nazareth, literally mean branch, town, route town, route here in verse 12, is out of the branch of guessing out of his bloodline, out of that branch, the city of Nazareth the word Nazareth means branch, town, and Nazareth is Jesus Christ city. He shall rise terrain over the Gentiles in him shall the Gentiles trust, now the God of hope, fill you those who were hoping for Christ coming. were filled with expectation. And those filled ones expecting his return, were filled with all joy and what peace and the joy and the peace that they got filled with as they hoped, for the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ is one word what? Believing, believing, believing, believing fills you with joy, and peace. Understand. Joy is an inside job. Pizza is an inside job. A person has happiness because of the material things with which he is surrounded. But a man or a woman could just be loaded with material things and have a lot of happiness there, but like joy, and if you take the material things away from them, their happiness disappears. So they jump off of a tower or take too many sleeping pills or do something because they lacked an inner serenity. Now the God of hope, fill you with all joy and peace. It's an inside job with believing these Old Testament saints looking forward to the day of the coming of Christ. were filled with joy and joy. And with this with the feet, they were filled with it. They were filled with joy and peace in believing and ladies and gentlemen, there is no joy and peace available until men and women believe what God's Word say. Until that time, they may be happy. They make they may get high on something for a little while. But it won't last because to really last you have to get it on the inside. He's the guy that's trip. I just know he's coming back. And I know that His word is faithful, even to the very iota of its fulfillment. Run. God gravy figures a speech or laws of grammar. That kind of statement just tells me dangerous, stupid about laws of grammar. And it doesn't upset me. It doesn't stop me from teaching doesn't stop me from holding forth. The word doesn't stop you from believing or me from believing. The Word says, if he went up, he's coming back. That's the hope we've got. This ministry is so good. I've lived but even if it came, didn't come back. That's right. It's the only heavenly thing I know now. If there was no return of Christ, it still would be to my benefit and two years to live the way we live, you know it, because this is the only thing that makes any sense. The only thing that keeps you happy. The only thing that keeps your high. Every time you take some drug, you may get high, but sooner or later you got to come down. But boy with living the principles of the Word keeps your high all the time. It's so good. Sometimes you have to ask God to lay off a while. Almost. It gets so magnificent, so tremendous that you just get so warm for the Lord Jesus Christ, that your physical body can hardly stand the presence of His power and majesty and go right. He's a wonderful God. But it's not something that we just have to have now we got the guarantee of something better in the future. If you think this is good, wait till we walk the streets to gather the whole body of believers. Oh, scattered all over the world. It's tremendous to have about 250 Young people in here, but just multiply that by the 1000s that we can win within the next year. And someday we shall see them face to face when we see him. And then carrot went out. After these wise men had returned, and hadn't come to tell him where they'd found him. He sent his henchmen out to kill everybody. Two years and under. Course, by this time, God had told Joseph to get himself over to Egypt, Joseph had listened the Lord never touched. Boy, when the don't just see it wonderful God acted. God acts whether anybody believes or not, I tell you, Jesus Christ is coming back has nothing to do with your believing our mind. He's coming. When the fullness of time comes again, God son from Heavens coming back, and he's not coming to lay in a manger, to be born in a manger laid in a stable, he's not coming to walk the streets of that old area of Galilee. And people look at him say, do not try. They are not going to Peru, Saudi. They're not going to put a crown of thorns on his head and nail Him to a cross. Because when he comes back door to God says he's coming as King of kings i Lord, Lord. Glory hallelujah. The same Jesus. And that's why we who are looking forward to Christ's return as fellow believers, we have the peace and the joy of believing now. You know, in Philippians bless your heart, your wonderful Philippians Corinthians Galatians he thinks and Philippians chapter three verse 20, do you have it for our citizenship? Alright, conversation is citizenship. For our Speaking of the church, our citizenship is in where heaven from whence also we look, we look. We look forward the Savior, God, Lord, what is not beautiful? Our citizenship, we're down here. We're citizens of his kingdom now. But in one sense we're already citizens up there.

Our citizenship is already guaranteed in heaven because we have eternal life, because I want God wrought in Christ Jesus, and the joy and peace in believing that became yours. Our citizenship is in heaven, from whence also we look, we look, we look. We look for the Savior. We are awaiting his return. Oh, it's wonderful being here. And I just love it. I love teaching the word. I love leading people to Christ, seeing the word move deep in their life, just like you love to witness like you love. That's good. And in verse 13, looking forward, looking forward, God bless it was hope. Watch the blessed hope, the glorious appearing of the great God. And our save your Jesus fun. Oh, boy. All you have to remember that the word hope means something that's coming in the future. In the Old Testament, they had joy and peace and believing in the hope of Christ first coming. You and I tonight, as born again believers, look forward and have the hope of His Second Coming. And that's what turns us on. It isn't the immediate present. It's the immediate present now knowing that it will be just as good tomorrow as it is today and Sunday, it's going to be better than any tomorrow. That's why in the 17th, verse of the third chapter of this second Corinthians three, the Lord, Now the Lord is the Spirit. And where the that is to say, Spirit of the Lord is, there is what? I know it's amazing. But we are what we are because of His mercy and His grace. Not all one of us. Were strong enough to pull ourselves up by our bootstraps, and bring ourselves to the place where we are tonight with the abounding joy within our souls and the peace of God within our hearts. But it's by His mercy and by His grace because God so loved. That's why verse two says, We have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty. He is the one who has made us what we are. And we are what he says we are. Therefore when I say I'm his ambassador, I'm only saying what he says. But if I'm his ambassador, it isn't that I am the one who made myself this, he made this for me. That's why we preach not ourselves. But Christ Jesus alone, and ourselves, your servants, for Jesus a sake. That grant greater the Word of God lives within you, the more responsibility you have to be a servant to your fellow men. You people who have been here at the Youth advanced, loaded with more of the Word of God, you could have gotten perhaps any other place in 40 years for all I know, most likely, you've got a greater responsibility not to get puffed up full of pride. Throw out your chest and say, look who I am. No, but to say, look who the Lord Jesus Christ is and what he's made me now your serve your fellow man, you and I have to be broken bread on people, until people learn to break through them break. You and I have to let people walk on our toes. Because we don't have any corns. You know why? Because we've got to let them walk on our feet until they learn to walk on their own. We are a servant to our fellow men. Boy, when you go back into your communities that you have represented here at the Youth advance, remember with the greatness of that word goes a great responsibility of being a servant, to the ladies and gentlemen, the boys and girls, whoever you meet, you serve them.

And you serve them by serving them the greatness of God's Word in all of its love and all of its beauty. There is nothing greater that we can share with people than God's word. You can give a man a million. But all you do is make the more like you can never give a man the Word of God. And he accepts that word from you, but that it will make him happier on the outside and give him joy and peace in believing on the inside. Isn't that beautiful? class this is the only ministry in the world that I know that does nothing but good for everybody. It comes in contact with. We take nothing from anybody, we steal nothing. We don't borrow anything. We just give them the word. Share the word with them and bless them. In the wonderful name of our living Lord and of our Savior Jesus Christ. Verse six for God who commanded the light to shine out of darkness. God commanded it has shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ, glory. I want your data dandy. The light of the knowledge, the light of the knowledge, then we're not in stupidness you know, we have the light of the knowledge. We are enlightened about the knowledge that God has given us in Jesus Christ. We're not in darkness of the glory of God. In the face of Jesus Christ what he represented very seven. Truth needs no defense, it only needs a witness. God's is the defense of the truth of His Word. We are we which live are always delivered unto death. That's all life also a Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal bodies. So then death worketh in us who ministered the word, it worked that they knows, but it brings life to the hair. No, tell me it doesn't take strength to teach the Word of God. Don't tell me it doesn't take out of the mind. So to run a youth advanced. Don't tell me that you don't pay a price for the knowledge of the words because you do it takes body strength to do it. But as we give forth the word it's life to the hair. We having verse 13. Anything that Satan may do through them to afflict us is not a light affliction. And it's only for a one moment. Worth it for us a far more accurate ceding and eternal weight of glory because of Christ's return. Verse 18, While we look not at the thing, which are saying, not the things which are what are the things which aren't seen are temporal, but the things which are not saying are what? Oh go right, hallelujah. The things that we can see are temporal. This body you see tonight is temporal. These beautiful flowers you see are temporal. This teaching platform is temporal. But the things which are not seen are eternal, which is Christ gave you the hope of glory. God who so loved that He gave His only begotten Son. This Christ in you, which is eternal life, which is righteousness, redemption, justification, sanctification, that's all I can think of right? Always 100,000 Things mold, this Christ in you is the eternal now. And it's the eternal future. For he's coming back. And we look under him, the author and finisher update. We look to Him for His return. And we become like we look what we look at, and we have the joy and the peace in believing now. I know nothing bigger than the greatness of God's wonderful knifeless word to tell us who God really is, and what he's Son Jesus Christ really is. And class we have authority that God says we have we are what the Word of God says we are. All people, there is nothing to equal the great accuracy of God's Word in setting men and women free. There's only one thing they need to hear today. And that's God's word. They have heard a great deal about psychology and psychiatry and mathematics, history, philosophy, you name it. But where are the men and women who have the word in their hand and not only saved us set the Lord but can teach people exactly what God say is how he says that they can understand it and utilize it in their life. While you're seated right out there. You're listening to this tape this week. You are the people I'm setting 1000 times and I suppose it'll bear repeating tonight. God has no hands but our hands got his spirit. He has no hands but my hands with which to give people bread. He has no feet, but our feet with which to move among the almost dead. We say that we are His and He is our deeds are the proof of that ladies and gentlemen. And these are the proving hours. Why don't you take it out and prove God? Why don't you just turn the world upside down with the greatness of the power of God in your soul? Or God has only you to do his job. And you have to believe to bring it to pass. The opposition doesn't have to believe they just have to relinquish themselves to get possessed. And what more glorious opportunity we have of studying to show ourselves approved onto him by rightly dividing the Word and holding forth that word of God, not deceitfully. But holding it forth in all of its radiant beauty and glory.
