Victor Paul Wierwille was a Bible scholar and teacher for over four decades.

He studied at the University of Chicago and at Princeton Theological Seminary from which he received a Master of Theology degree in Practical Theology. Later he completed his work for the Doctor of Theology degree.
Dr. Wierwille taught the first class on Power for Abundant Living in 1953.

Philippians 4:13 What's the first word? Ah, that's right. Unless you tap the resources, you can talk, anybody else can talk about it a lifetime, it's still whether or not do you want to do it? Here's the end that you walk into the greatness of the power of God, you're then able to help somebody. So the first person that has to be born again of God's Spirit is you i, the individual, you must get born again of God's Spirit. But in the advanced class, we're way past that. We're not concerned any longer about you being born again, we have been that long time, we're concerned about going deeper. And even when we go deeper, the first person that has to go deeper with God is you, ah, ah, ah, now you can talk about everything that God has done for Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, Moses and all the rest. You can talk about the miracles that Peter didn't Paul did, and all the rest of the people in the Bible. But you know, something that doesn't do you a bit of good tonight, unless you can tap into the same resources. All the great and wonderful things that these men are that God in the past did, whose records are written so plainly in the 11th chapter, the book of Hebrews, all of those records, unless you can tap into the same power those men tapped into their records are relatively insignificant. They're just historical records, you have to come to the place, that you are again able to say, I know it, who might have believed and I am persuaded beyond a shadow of a doubt that he is able to keep that which he committed on I mean, against that day or any other day, this has to be the conviction in your heart. If you want to be a part of this wonderful, advanced class, where the greatness of God's word is never doubted. It's only considered and looked at and anticipated walking you Boxall that's wonderful verse says, I can I can, it doesn't say I maybe it doesn't say I perhaps it doesn't say i Someday It says I can now I can, right now, right now, I can, what? Do all things, do all things, all without any exception, that are written in the Word of God that are permitted under you by God's word. You can't do all things. You can't make a bigger stone and God live. This kind of thing has been to blow. But I can do all things, all things that the word says belong to us because of the ministry of reconciliation and the word of reconciliation that has been given answers that she talks about tonight. I can do all things. In my own strength, no 1000 times No, I cannot do anything in my strength. I can do all things only because I have somebody else's strength within me. That's why that very says, I can do all things through Christ. That's right. I can do all things through Christ, not through my academic knowledge, not through my social prestige that I have gathered not through that, no, sir, I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me, oh, my strength. He is within us. And God was in Christ, Christ is in you the hope of glory. Therefore, you can do all things by the power of God. This is what that is within you. And in this advanced class, we learned how to release that power. We learned how to utilize that power with a mathematical exactness and a scientific precision. That is the set forth, it is word of God in the Word of God telling us exactly how to do it. You see, it is not Christ through Paul, this devil is teaching that. That the spirit has to possess, you have to control you and that the Spirit does it to you. It doesn't say that in that verse. It says, Paul says, I can do all the work that God says I can do all regarding Paul's life. I can do it. Not Christ through Paul, but Paul by way of the power of Christ. That was where did him I said, John, look at season 320 This is the next verse of scripture. I want you to check tonight. The seasons chapter three, verse 20. Now on to him Who is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we are that he is able to do exceedingly abundantly to exceed abundance, he is able to exceed abundance. And in the early church people, if you've ever read the book of Acts, somebody was exceeding abundance. And we have seen very little of that, in our day and time. God's most of us have just been playing church. Sure, your luck, religious, but you have no power, you know it. Why don't you finally get to the place that you just admitted. That's why we count the alcoholics before they can get into Alcoholics Anonymous, you have to know you're an alcoholic. And you're getting to Alcoholics Anonymous, that trust. And you've got to get to the place that you know, you can't handle the Word of God and energy doesn't fit in that we just been playing around. Because unless we can demonstrate the power of x, chapter 1234, and the early church, then the early church had more power than what we've got today, then God's weaker, and that's not logical, then God has changed. Ladies, gentlemen, God hasn't changed. It's been people. God has never changed. He's the same God today that he wants them. That's right. That change has come in a society in which you and I live. And the society in which you and I have been brought up is a society where you just play church. Right? You go, you go on Sunday, or go on Wednesday, or go some other time. But when it comes to Word of God, you couldn't put it together, your life depended on it. No wonder we don't see anything on. Because there is no knowledge there. And without accurate knowledge of God's Word, and the dividing of a word, and believing God's word, you're not going to get the signs, the miracles and wonders and the power of God that you see an x, as you read the Word. He is able, God's able no question about it. He is able, and he's not only able he is willing to perform Roman says what he has promised, right? So he's not only able and willing, but he is able and willing to do a one day work. That which exceeds abundance, exceeding abundance. And when the Christian lives with anything less than an exceeding abundance, we have not tapped in big enough yet. We just, we've just not arrived yet. You wonder why get filled? Why not when it takes young people that come from Cleveland and to tell us what I tried to tell the adults back in 61, nobody believed a handful, took a group of young people to try to put on a class in Cleveland, Ohio by 16 millimeter failed to bring the great enthusiasm and the realization to us as adults. Of the greatness of the power of God, that can be accomplished. And it's just when they came back to me or just like the book of Acts marching all over again. People are convinced they're enthused, they know what God's able to do. And God promised he was able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we can ask all our things. Now, that doesn't mean ask for things out left field, all again, without any exception that is promised in God's Word to those of us who have the ministry and the word of reconciliation, all that promised in God's epistles to the church, the Body of Believers, all of that he is able to do which will always exceed abundance. Always. That's the greatness of our wonderful work. The only forgotten the last grace. If he had just forgotten the last phrase, it'd be a dandy verse. But he makes that wonderful statement at the end, according to the power that work is in us.

Doesn't say the power that possesses you does, according to the power that's what at work within you. And the power that at work within you is dependent upon how much power you operating. What are you doing with it? What are you utilizing of the potential that God put in there when you became his child, how much are you utilizing? He is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we can ask our last thing according to the power that is at work with Not if this power that is, is not operated by us if we don't utilize it, if we don't carry it forward, is anybody ever going to learn nobody? If I didn't discipline my mind, just think in terms of the logic and the accuracy of the word and present this class here, you people wouldn't be in the advanced player, you might be just as happy because you've just to be as happy to be stupid, as you can be unhappy when you're smart. Plus, does that mean that just because somebody knows where he is, or more, he's more unhappy or anything else. But I'm not interested, whether you're happy or not happy. I'm interested, what you got the joy of the Lord happiness depends on material things on the outside joints and inside job. And I am concerned about that joy of the greatness of the power of God and His Word, living in our lives in this day, and time and hours, when we are surrounded with nothing but speculation. You can't get two major theologians to agree on the same verse of scripture, if you put a million dollars on the call for it, they won't do it. They can't, because they have never come to the place that they believe God's word is God's will, that it means what it says. And it says what it means. And ladies and gentlemen, when he said, I can do all things through Christ, you can stand up there and tell me that that's a bunch of baloney, God has to possess you, you have to do that. And I just simply said, a year following your love, though, God still right. And we're most people are sitting around and say, Well, Lord, whenever I'm ready, you pushed me off the rim, you know, like this little egullet sitting on the edge of the nest. When the old you get not feathered out. And the big ego takes him and pushes him out and says, bye bye, let him fall. Finally, he learns to fly before its ground. That's the way the true God operates. That's the way the other God operates. You'll see this in the advanced class, as I show you some of the greatness of God's word as it's written in here. You see, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. But even though God is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that you and I may ask or think he can only manifest as much as the power that we operate that it has that work within us. And this is why if you want to go fast and far in this class, just operate that pile. Don't even question it, don't even think about it, just do it. And the moment you begin to do it, the results come into manifestation, just like showing those failed. When he took that and did it according to the way in which they were done. They've got the results. And it's a tremendous thing to think that you can take this class as a foundational class and put it on 16 millimeter sound colored, failed, and do this so that men and women, again, any place that wants to look at them can hear the Word of God and make up their mind, whether they want the power of God or whether they just want to mess around or plan. And I'm convinced most people that come are, are concerned about tapping into resources, they do not want to play, they want something they can put their teeth into it. But both of these guys are both college girls aren't in college. Both tallied and we talked about the college kids being flippant, whose kid knows that the college kids are flipping it because nobody ever sat down and showed them the greatness of God's Word. You can challenge the brain cells have the most intellectual growth by the accuracy of God's words. But you see, you can challenge me by sitting at a dead place for somebody doesn't even get to the words, I don't challenge the young people I know. It's the greatness of God's word, that our talent when that Word says that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. That's the challenge. You know it? Boy, he says I can do it right. Now, either Godzilla already told him. And if he's a liar, we ought to check the whole business. But if he told the truth, then someplace somewhere, somehow he has to tell us how to do it. So we can do it. Right? Well, that's the plan.

They'll tell us how to do it. And we don't have anybody in the advanced class sit around that and say, Well, maybe I'll think about it. You learn nothing, but you do it. Because the word says I can look, I can do it. If you're gonna wait on Maggie mountains to do it, you're not going to do it. But Maggie do. This is why Christ without it within Paul made it possible for Paul to manifest for the greatness of the power of God. I wrote on the board here, the great central truth of all the teachings of the way headquarters and its ministry to all of our people everywhere. It's a diagram has a time goal at the top. And in the triangle, it says, God, who is the giver, His Holy Spirit with a capital H at a capital F. Go God, His Holy Spirit. These are the two greatest things God is God is holy, and God is Spirit. And God can only give what He is. God cannot give anything but what he is, and the greatest thing God is his holy and spirit. And on the Day of Pentecost, God gave what he is with his, his gift, a periodic giver, God is the giver. On the day of Pentecost, he gave his gift. And his gift is also called in the Bible Holy Spirit. But the GIFT FROM THE GIVER should always have been translated in every version or in every translation with a Smalling and a smallest, God as Holy Spirit as a capital H as a capitalist, He is the giver and his gift, on the day of Pentecost was Holy Spirit, small a and small s, became exactly the greatest thing that he is. This gift is special, but not the doing or the working of it. For the individual believers does the doing or the working of this gift, according to his believing and a man cannot believe if he does not know. Therefore, the first thing we have to do is to get the knowledge, then we can utilize our believing and bring it into manifestation.

The gift from God, this gift is called Holy Spirit. You cannot see spirit, you cannot smell it. You cannot taste it, you cannot touch it because it is one thing what spirit, things in the natural realm in the natural world may be known by the five senses like seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting and touching. But things in a spiritual realm cannot be known by seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting or touching. A man by his reason cannot know that things are God. The things that God can only be known by the Spirit. Remember what it says is in the Corinthians where it says that that trauma and receive us not the things about the Spirit of God know what until you foolishness, foolishness, and he cannot know them he cannot know them because they are spiritually desert. Things in the natural world may be known by the five senses. But things in the spiritual world can only be known by a spirit and you've got to be born again of God's spirit in order to tap into the resources. Otherwise you tap into it intellectually only. And you think you're real smart up here. But God says, You're completely empty and Stoke, but on the inside. And when life is over with you have no eternal life. You've had a good feeling gone through. And you've been convinced that you're worshipped at the proper way at the proper time. But boy, when the Lord Tom's you'll never be there, because you won't get there, except you have the gift from God, which is the new birth, the power of this Holy Spirit. Ladies, gentlemen, I didn't write the book, not even set up the qualifications to get there. But that's what the Word says. That's what now you're casting spirits. Anything you can see as to be a manifestation in the senses realm. And so God has put within this gift the possibility that every believer can manifest, nine evidences, nine abilities, or nine manifestations. And these nine manifestations and are only nine, no more, no less than the Word of God, only nine, the manifestations of this tip into thinking in tongues, interpretation of tongues, prophecy, where the knowledge where the wisdom is learning to face miracles, and these are all in this gift wrapped up in the gift, how many may you operate, as many as you have the knowledge and believing to operate. You never operate any of them, until you get the knowledge of how to operate, no no more so that you can drive an automobile until you get the knowledge on how to drive. So these nine manifestations of the Spirit are possible because of the gift, that gift, which is that spiritual ability, that gift is the God given spiritual ability. And there is only one gift, new Maharajji own Holy Spirit only one gift as this gift being the God given ability or as you could put it another way, it is the God given enablement. This gift enables you to do the job if you really desire and want to do it. It does not mean however, that you will automatically do the job. Because the gift is spirit and spirit does not manifest itself automatically. Spirit in order to be manifested, has to have a body to live in and that body has to do so. And therefore, you operating that gift or this enablement. You speak in tongues, you interpret, you prophesy, you reach up to receive or the knowledge or the wisdom, discerning of spirits, you ministered faith, miracles and healing. How do you do it? By the power of God? That is where you This is it.

Look at Second Timothy Isn't this wonderful? Well praise the Lord. Timothy, Second Timothy got to be in here someplace. The apostle Paul, by revelation told Timothy, that the things which he had heard from the Apostle Paul, on their own God had given the revelation of the mystery and many other wonderful things. among many witnesses he had heard this, the same He said not to have now received you give you committed, committed no. But is this a faithful one man, just faithful men. And people, when I see the greatness of this word, what's the use of teaching anybody the word if they're not going to be faithful man with it? Why waste your time? Why waste your breath, trying to teach somebody the greatness of God's word and in order to do anything with it, I'll tell you before God in a lot worse shape than than you were, before you knew didn't know anything about it. Better to say soap than to learn something and then not doing anything with it. But he said that which I taught you the greatness of God's word, you, you teach it to somebody else, but the people you teach it to you be sure you're committed to faithful men, faithful men. What kind of faithful man worthy. They were man for able able to teach others. Oh, that's my reason for the advanced class. I want to teach men and women in this advanced class, who are able, who are able to teach others oh, I want my people of the advanced class, to take this greatness of God's Word and do something with it. I don't care if you're a farmer, or if you're a businessman or a shop man, or if you're a housewife. God never put any qualifications like this audit at all, all thing he wants his men and women to have the ability and the beaches. And if we're going to wait for all the farmers have the ability whenever giddy. If we're gonna wait, my farmers are having a giggle out of your night. If we're going to wait for the ministers to have it, we're sure never gonna get it. There will be ministers, there will be farmers, there'll be housewives, God no respecter of persons, but they that hunger and thirst after righteousness shall be what failed. Therefore, if you're in this class, because God told you to get in it, you're in the right place. If you're in this class, because you want to gain a little mental gymnastics, because of the greatness of the Word of God that dwells within my mind, at times in myself, in my soul, you're at the wrong place. I'm only interested in teaching one person in this advanced class, and that one person is that person that is able to teach others Oh. Now how do you get a you get a ball by getting an A Bowman that word a ball is our men who shall be enabled, who are enabled to teach others also men who are enabled and able to teach others also, well, how do men get enabled, so they can teach others by getting the Enable men? i It's the unable man, that makes for April, man. The god given this God given ability manifested, you see, this makes possible the enablement, he gives you. The god given abilities, which is your enablement. That's what makes for an evil man. That's Timothy. In other words, a person who has all the intellectual knowledge in the world, unless he has this power of God within still has no enablement, he can't get the job done because he got bad on size on it. That's not enough.

If you want to succeed with the greatness of the power of God, there was a power that God talks about his work you have to tap into the gifts which is the God given affinity. And then this makes you able this is your enablement to do up, because does interpret, Prophesy operate where the knowledge wisdom discerning first faith, miracles, anything, and when these things are in operated. When these things are manifested, then people's lives get blessed. First your belief when you believe you receive and then you put into operation before anyone can properly manifest anything in life. He must believe that it is available. Never heard this before. Secondly, not only must he believe and know of itself saleability, he has to know how to receive it. He must be taught how to receive it. And thirdly, he must be taught what to do with it, after he's gotten, how to operate it, how to use it, what to do with it. And that's exactly what the events class is all about. We're going to be talking hour upon hour reading God's word and just showing you how, how, how the word says you operate and use be this enablement in the manifestation of the thing that's remarkable and Paul said I can do it because about every teacher you're hearing and every commentary or even every Sunday School quarterly or he always says God doesn't know worry that God says you do you remember in that same bill applies to scenarios and they said they believe some of preaching because they heard and saw the miracles which God did. They never do anything by their own volition. They never do anything by their own volition. Never. They are always possessed. Oh, they're always taken over. They are controlled. They are channeled. The people just become medium. All of these people have what they call spiritual helpers.

In the ministry that the way represents on the accuracy of God's word you are the one who operates the power of God, you by your belief and receive you got born again as you believe. If you confess with your mouth, the Lord Jesus believed God raised Him from the dead you got what the Word says. But who had to do the believing? You did? Did did it possess you know, if it possessed you you had the freedom of will to do us believe you believed you receive. Then you now operate you operate. All in that spiritualist field. They never operate. They're always taken over. They're always controlled, they're always possessed. They are only channels only medium. You and I are not channels, we're not mediums we're not possessed, we're not controlled. We by the freedom of our whale chose the Lord Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior and by the freedom of our will we operate the manifestations of the Spirit. And we're always in absolute control of the entire operation thereof in the counterfeit field, and a spiritually feel the enemy takes over the communication system. They take over the mind. Segments of a take control. They possess. Drive. Listen to a little tape this afternoon for five minutes. Got indigestion spiritually. I couldn't wait any longer because I had to teach you tonight and I'd much rather teach you anyway. Because by I get fired up for this Sunday, and I couldn't eat me dinner that's noon already. So warmed up for tonight. Did any of your listeners assume because you're so excited about getting in the class tonight? I doubt it. But I was excited for you. That's right. So I don't know who sat next to me. But y'all know I mean, those of you were down for lunch, had great beautiful wonderful brown chicken and I could leave a little bit of it but you know why? I get so enthused about the way that God and I get to thinking about this word to do for people when I get a chance to get out of them with Word that it just it just something other. I just got hungry physically. So I haven't really I haven't had any dinner today, I have a little bit of supper fellowship and this was coffee and a little piece of cheese. I forget what else I had while I'm sure thing I didn't have was below. So a little pizza, something. Sometime tonight I expect to eat, maybe. But if I if I don't make much difference. The point is, I can't describe this to people when you when you look at it 10 Knowledge wise, you think what a guy's nuts or maybe I'm not thought you by joining the ranks because it's good. Because people that greatness of God's word live. And when that abundance of God's word gels in a man soul, or a woman's soul, it does something to you. And I want to tell you that we've only got one life to live people. Even if you live to be 70. It goes like crazy. Ad. Now some of you youngsters that are 13 years old, you're texting to get your driver's license, vinyl, all that. But you'll find out the years go faster when you're 16 than they did when you were 30. And by the time you're 25, they'll start moving a little faster yet. But people God's called us he's had to have his hand on his ministry and on our lives, or you wouldn't be there. The people wouldn't drive all the way up here. From South Bend or from Indiana or from Champaign, Illinois, or from Columbus, or from northern areas in Ohio, they'll be in the teaching session on Sunday night, there's got to be something. And you know what there is the greatness of God's word which live and abideth forevermore, that word don't stand. I said to was a Dave around the dinner table or somebody I said something about we're going to work to learn from the integrity and accuracy of its inherent manifestation. Because this word I can trust, the experiences people talk about.

They could be right, and they could watch. And I haven't got the time to waste my time to find out whether they're right or wrong. I'm concerned about teaching the accuracy of God's word because this will stand that variance as well come and go class, but the Word of God delivered by forever. That's why it's a tremendous truth and a tremendous thing. And that's why with the power of God within you, you manifest force with a second Timothy 226. How much time do I have till the broadcast? Alright, Peter, I'd like for you to please. Second Timothy 226. And I just want to read this burden, especially my radio audience, I want you to hear it. And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him as his will. According to that word of God, Satan is possible to take over some people by whenever he wants to, right. But he can't do this do because I'm going to teach you how to keep the trapdoor shut. He can only take captive people. He can only take captive people who have opened their minds to him. And they have said, All right, come in and take control. And I am going to show you God's greatness, in his words, how to keep that trap door shuts. How to close your mouth that that old boy just can't get in. Because I battle our battle in life is not against flesh and blood. But our battle is against spiritual power. The Word of God says, and this is what I know. And this is what I believe. And therefore, I'm sick and tired of people coming along who said to me well, brother, let the Spirit heavy way brother, sister let the Spirit out of his way. Open yourself up to the spirit of knowing and time by I don't open myself Teddy spirit, because the wrong one might come in. I want to know who it is. At your life. When I opened my house door after bed I want to know what students are walking in. I want to know I want to be in control I want to be they want to operate. And if there's gonna be a spirit on the inside, I want to be who which one it is. And so when people say just open yourself up to anything, it's a bunch of baloney. That's live class. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me and that's the greatness of the power of God. Wow people that think just lives in a man's soul. And I eat sleep and drink this stuff because this to be as right, that greatness and God's word stand. This is the only thing I've ever seen that men cannot break Everything else they write, but the cat gets to the touch to God's word.
