Victor Paul Wierwille was a Bible scholar and teacher for over four decades.

By means of Dr. Wierwille's dynamic teaching of the accuracy and integrity of God's Word, foundational class and advanced class graduates of Power for Abundant Living have learned that the one great requirement for every student of the Bible is to rightly divide the Word of Truth. Thus, his presentation of the Word of God was designed for students who desire the in-depth-accuracy of God’s Word.

In his many years of research, Dr. Wierwille studied with such men as Karl Barth, E. Stanley Jones, Glenn Clark, Bishop K.C. Pillai, and George M. Lamsa. His formal training included Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Theology degrees from Mission House (Lakeland) College and Seminary. He studied at the University of Chicago and at Princeton Theological Seminary from which he received a Master of Theology degree in Practical Theology. Later he completed his work for the Doctor of Theology degree.

Dr. Wierwille taught the first class on Power for Abundant Living in 1953.

Books by Dr. Wierwille include: Are the Dead Alive Now? published in 1971; Receiving the Holy Spirit Today published in 1972; five volumes of Studies in Abundant Living— The Bible Tells Me So (1971), The New, Dynamic Church (1971), The Word's Way (1971), God's Magnified Word (1977), Order My Steps in Thy Word (1985); Jesus Christ Is Not God (1975); Jesus Christ Our Passover (1980); and Jesus Christ Our Promised Seed (1982).

Dr. Wierwille researched God's Word, taught, wrote, and traveled worldwide, holding forth the accuracy of God's "wonderful, matchless" Word.

At chapter nine perhaps because of the type of ministries that teaching ministries that we represent, we do not spend the amount of time dealing with the healing ministry and its different facets as frequently as you might find among other groups. Because of our teaching ministry, we believe that people have to learn to understand the whole Bible from Genesis to Revelation. And in order to understand this, there are many different segments, many different facets of knowledge from the Bible, which have to be taught, learned and understood. Among these, of course, is this ministry of healing. Not first of all, before we get into this chapter, let me just say to you, that there is a tremendous difference between praying for the sick and ministering to them. You can pray for the sick anytime, anywhere is under any situation, that when you begin to minister to the sick, it takes on an entirely different biblical aspects are in the ministry of healing. In the ministry of healing, you have to operate the manifestations of the Spirit. And in the category of the manifestations of the Spirit. There are only nine manifestations, speaking in tongues, interpretation of tongues and prophecy, where the knowledge, word of wisdom and discerning of spirits, faith, miracles, and healing. All nine of these manifestations must be an operation in every believer if he is going to minister healing according to the revelation of God's Word. Now, before we get into the healing, teaching of this particular night, I would like to read the opening part of this particular chapter nine, because we're going to hear read about a man whose name was Sol Sol was his Hebrew name. Paul was his Greek name. This man was a real persecutor of the Christians. He hated the Christians, spiritually speaking, he just liked them. He thought they were absolutely wrong about everything they believe. And yet, that safety. I believe that sense knowledge wise, no one would ever have dreamed that the Apostle Paul who was really wants to become that soul would ever become the Apostle Paul. I doubt very much if any of us would have given him a flat seat in our church. We perhaps would have said, He's hopeless, God can help you. But this is one reason I want to read the record. Because God did help him and there is no man living, there is no women living whom God cannot help, whose meet needs cannot be met by God Almighty. And when he meets that need, he can take the life of a man or a woman and turn it upside down, which is right side up and make them effort as best and grow with a power God. Such a man was so a man who was worthless in one sense, but when he got saved, born again, our God Spirit filled with the Holy Spirit, he became that greatest mouthpiece for God that the world as other heads, chapter nine, verse one. And so yet breathing out threatenings and flogger against the disciples of the Lord went on to the high priest, and desired of him letters to Damascus, to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they be men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem. Before we read the third verse, Let me just say that the followers of the Lord Jesus Christ, the followers of the Lord Jesus Christ were called followers of the way before they were called Christians. They were called Christians in Antioch of Syria first, but long before they were called Christians. They were called followers of the way and this is why he decided to letters in Damascus of the high priests, that if any, were found, who are followers of this way, whether they be men or women, he might bring them unto Jerusalem, verse three, and as he journeyed, he came near Damascus, and suddenly their shine round about him or light From heaven, and he fell to the earth and he heard about saying to him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest follow me. And he said, who are followed. And the Lord said, I am Jesus who not persecutors, it is hard for the the kick against the pricks. And he trembling. By the way, it's hard for the to kick against the pricks, is an Orientalism. And in a few weeks, our wonderful friend, Bishop Casey Palau will be here to teach Orientalism customs and mannerisms. And he perhaps will not handle this, but he'll handle many things like this in the Bible. When they drove the oxen when they drove the oxen, they always had a long stick, the power was of you know, like this, the X and up here and then power back here, and they had a long stick, that they didn't have what he called that to put on horses and stuff, rain, they didn't have a rain on them. So they could G and haul, right and left them. They didn't have those. So they simply had a goat. A goat, it's called, it's a, it's a wooden stick. And it's pointed at the end. And when Oh, Nelly Bell, the ox would move, he poked her one, say, and then he not only would give her a little poke, that he'd hold that stick, right behind her legs, so she kicked back on it, she'd hurt herself very much. And this is why it's called a prick. Because the more they kick, the harder they hurt themselves, the more they injure themselves, that this is the picture that we have here. Regarding this particular incident. He sat onto, he said, I'm Jesus who's not persecutors, it's hard for the to kick against what the harder you checked against the things of God, the more you get hurt. Right? Why should because the word of God live up and abideth forever. It's the same yesterday, today and forever, it doesn't change. And the Word of God is sharper than any two edged one. That's what it says in Hebrew. Right? And so, when the Word of God is offered, and we kick against the word of God, we hurt ourselves. We injure ourselves. If it isn't the Word of God, it can't hurt you. But if it's the word of God, it's the sword. It's the pointed part. I like this gold. And that's the picture. Paul had been persecuting home, the Christians. And here he had received letters from the highest authority in Jerusalem, to go to Damascus, and to bring together get together the Christians whom we could find, put them in chains and bring them back and slave to the city of Jerusalem.

07:54

Well, verse six, and he trembling and astonished, he said, Lord, not Well, I have me to do. And the Lord said, on MRIs go to the city, and it shall be told him that time has been and the men which journey with him stood speechless, during the voice, that seeing there was no nine, verse eight, and say, a rose from the earth. And when his eyes were open, he saw no man. He was banged, for they led him by the hand and brought him into Damascus. And he was there three days without sight, and did neither eat nor drink. And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, not an apostle, not a bishop. But just as certain up men and women like those of us gathered here tonight, believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, followers of the wave is the Lord Jesus Christ, followers of him, we are disciples, just as shirt and disciple. He had no ministry in the body, to the end, where he was an apostle, or a prophet or an evangelist or a teacher or a pastor. He was a disciple. He's a born again believer, named, named Anand is, and to him said, The Lord innovation and an artist. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord, verse 11. And the Lord said on him, Arise, and go into the street, which is called straight and inquire in the house of Judas, for one called Saul of Tarsus, for behold, he loves prayer, and have seen in a vision a man named Anand is coming in and putting his hand on him that he might receive His sight. Then, and and I have answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil we have done to thy saints at Jerusalem. And here we have authority from the chief priests to bind all the calls Ondine A, that the Lord said unto him, goes away. For he is a chosen that's the one who dubare My name before the Gentiles and kings and the children of Israel, for I will show him how great things he must suffer for my namesake. And I Adonai went his way, and entered in the house and putting his hands on him, said, Brother, Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared onto the in the lower dot Kamus has sent me that timeout is three things by sight can be filled with the Holy Ghost. And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scaled. And he received sight for it with at a rose and was baptized. This is a tremendous truth in here, the whole section. First of all, just to disciple, the Lord says to him, Arise, going to the spring called Spring, go to the house of Judas, and you inquire for a fella named Saul. And when you get there, he's going to be doing one thing, every play for each player. Now, put yourself in an analysis shoes. How would you like to have been the delegate? To carry the message to this man who had come all the way from from Jerusalem to Damascus, to take the Christians and bind them in chains and take them back to Jerusalem? How would you like to have been the disciple to be told ago? And Annihilus was a little shook when this occurred, because he No, he said so. And and is answered later I've heard by many of us men, how much evil have done here at Jerusalem, and here in Jerusalem here. And here. He has authority to bind us. This was what how he reciprocated. God first told and Annihilus water and an iOS didn't cry to poop didn't understand what the Lord was saying. So he talked a little bit about it. So that was the average person doesn't understand the word of God, or doesn't want to believe God's word. He talks to everybody else about it except God. If you don't like the DOD, we'll talk about it. Right? You couldn't get through anyways, then you've got a connection short circuited or something not plugged up?

12:39

Well, and and I have been like a particular he just said the loan, I don't like this business. I don't want to go over there and get myself all chained up and get led back to Jerusalem. I don't mind standing for you. But I'm just going to throw myself in the lion's mouth and get chewed up. No, that was the attitude. And you know what the Lord said? He said, Go, Go. Go. And people there is no greater word to the message of the heart of God's men and women today, the young people and the children than the one would go. Because we we sit in hats too much. We rest around on our laurels, hoping that God will open a new way by radio or television or newspaper that the job can be done. So we don't have to do it. We got to go. That before you're done, you gotta have bird. And that's what the teaching ministry is allowing represents the word. We teach our people God's word to you for this day and this hour that's available, how to receive it, what to do with it, after you've got it. We teach it to you, and then it's up to you to go. If you don't like to talk to father about it, I'll still say go all the way that God has never permeated our hearts the lives of men and women. Unless they went, they've got to go. You've got to move your cat status standstill. Yeah, you have to carry out the word of God. If you don't, you'll be kicking against the pricks. All right, you got sore spots be miserable. Now when this era Narus went over to see Sol Sol was blind. So couldn't see. It been blinded on the road. And the first thing he did when he got there? He said he entered into the house in verse 17. And he put his hands on him. Now, in the healing ministry, sometimes you see where people they put hands on people, either times they don't, this kind of thing has never been quite understood. In some groups, they put their hands on them all the time. Every time somebody comes to be paid for, or as they call it, do we see the Holy Spirit you put your hands on them. They use this scripture as their kickoff text that shows that show that Anand is put his hands on soul, and since adenitis put his hands on, so we ought to be putting our hands on people and other birds they use is the one from the Gospel of Mark, they shall lay your hands on the sick, and the sick shall recover. These are the scriptures these are, these are pet scriptures. Now just to quote a scripture is not enough ladies and gentlemen, to substantiate a teaching, there has to be a reason why Mark says the laying on of hands, there has to be a reason why, and Annihilus laid hands on soul. Because there are other sections in the world about, for instance, Jesus himself. In the Gospel of Mark, it does not say he laid hands on the mall. It simply says whole multitudes came to Him, and He healed them all. At another place. That another place, Jesus never even went with a man remember what a servant who was sick. The man said, I am in authority. When I say the word the boys run. You know, he's an Centaurian, head of the army or something. And he said, When I speak, my men carry it out. He said, Jesus, you're a man in authority. You speak. As Jesus did was spoke, he said the home the child to what was coming, he didn't lay hands on him. One times loading on our hands next time they're laying on hands, there has to be a reason for every cause has an effect. Every effect has a cause. And there's a purpose for everything God does in the world.

17:12

Now when it comes to the laying on of hands, it is used in a two fold way and the way that God you can trace this now do what they did at Brio was not they studied the scriptures daily to see whether these things were true or why was this they were more noble in Berea than in Thessalonica. That's right. They searched the scriptures daily. To see whether these things were true. You do the same thing, that the laying on of hands, works in a two fold way in the Word of God. The laying on of hands was used only when they were concerned about ordination. When they were ordained, people set them apart, then they laid hands on them. Or when they were sick, at times they laid hands on them. And when they laid hands on them, it was always because God told them by Revelation where the knowledge to lay hands on. At another time, he didn't say anything about laying hands on them. The way to knowledge was not to lay hands on him, show them what they're up. Now lay hands on. Now, when it comes to this to food, it's really one but it has two facets you understand its ordination and ministry of healing. In ordination they always laid hands on but in the ministry of healing, they didn't always but whenever they did, in healing, and always in ordination setting apart. It was simply So Revelation manifestation to go into operation. The revelation manifestations, even though they are in operation without laying on of hands, but God by Revelation where the knowledge, tell them to lay hands on them understand that he by revelation said lay your hands, lay your hands on soul. At another time by revelation, he didn't say anything about laying hands on and then the people who are administering the build up, not lay hands on see. Therefore the laying on of hands was always by revelation when an outage told him to do it or not do it. Now you wonder why? Well because God knows the need. He knows the innermost workings of a man or woman. He knows what we're believing and what we're not believing. And we people at times like in the Bible, they need this type of thing. For instance, one place in the Bible, a man is healed because they put Matt in his I remember, they took dust spirit And he plumped up his eyes like this. And another place at another place No, not in the eye. Now, it all depends on what theology you belong to. And background. Ordinarily, ordinarily, if you belong to the mudslinging group, you'd put mud in the eyes see, oh, they never know what to do with these scriptures. You read the commentaries, you listen to the men teach on healing, they never know how to handle it. Because look, one place in us, us, us, as allies, and another place where there has to be a reason. There has to be a reason. And people it's so simple, if you understand the manifestations of the Spirit, there are three revelation manifestations. Three, information, manifestations, what knowledge when it was done, and discerning of spirits. Those are the three revelation manifestations of the nine manifestations are the spirits, these are your information. These are given for your learning. These are that you may understand what God has to say. So here it is. So Sara's in Damascus, he was blind. He was blind. What else was he seeing on the website? They hadn't. He hadn't received the Holy Spirit into manifestation. He was born and he had not received the Holy Spirit in a manifestation. But he was born again on the road to Damascus, because when Sarah had to have had an analysis to lay his hands on him, what did an analysis say? The soul, he said, Brother up, brother, shell. And boy in the Bible, when they say brother saw they mean brother saw. Today, when we say Brother, we don't know whether we say brother or sister Guggenheimer or something, make any difference? Because in some churches, everybody says everybody, brother and everybody, sister, dad, God, God, God, Revelation, Revelation, God had told adenitis, that Saul was born again on the road to Damascus, and therefore when he walked in and put he's put his hands on him, he said, Brother, so try. Sure, you know, among the URIs, men of the URIs like the Arabs, and so forth. If an Arab will call you a brother, you'll never steal from you. But boy, if he doesn't call you a brother, you got to put the lock on it. Try if he calls you a brother Urian already has with you that covenant assault where he breaks bread with you and he exchanged salt with you. Or one other one, I forgotten that other one right now. Anybody would call what the other one is? Well, good, I'm glad y'all forgot it. Well, the broad covenant bad trade, if you cut, if you exchanged blood with each other a little bit, then you won't hurt. So with the salt covenant, the blood covenant, and the brother business, those two you can trust the man from then on, you can lay down your pocketbook and you won't steal it from what he calls you a brother, or you had the blood covenant with you or the covenant assault. Man, you watch. When Anna NYAS walked in, he called him brother, soul, brother soul, and he laid his hands on him, because the revelation from the Lord the first one and was when you get in there, put your hands on him. Because by revelation God told and analysis and there was a need part in the life and soul, the same, not the same as the man who was blind. He split into the clay in the dust made like a little mud pie and put it in his eye. Because the revelation was that this was what had to be done for that man. Someone else? The revelation was he didn't have to do it. He put the matter in the man's eyes, and he said, Go wash in the pool solo, but not the battle. And he says he watched and he came seeing you see people God knows our need. He knows what helps us. Now there is no one living who can't go directly to God and be healed directly without anybody praying for you or ministering to you But there are others who need help. Who is believing this spiritual development, mental, physical and everything else that's about in life do not reach that point. And they need someone to stand with them. You see, somebody could have said, well, what? Why didn't tell there directly to God and get healed?

25:28

There's the answer, just what I've given you, some can, others can't. And at these places where they cannot rise up, then God has to give us revelation. And by revelation, we then walk and we ministered. Anybody can play. But when it comes to ministering, healing, you have to have revelation. And this is why the weather blade in the labor ministry, we never lay hands on people for healing unless we have revelation. When Revelation says, Put your hands on, we do it. If the revelation is, doesn't say anything about the putting on our hands, we don't. Sometimes you minister to people, you take them by the hand. Other times, you may put your hand on their head, other times on their ears or shoulders as you're guided. The Ministry of Healing is entirely by revelation, word of knowledge and wisdom and discerning of spirits. Now, tremendous truth and light in the scriptures. Verse 17, has sent me the Midas drop, receive direct sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost. How does that verse say, he got his site? He did what? Received? How do you get anything from God? Receive it. That's right. And I can't believe for you and you can't believe for me, but I can believe what you I can stand with you. But you got to do your own believing and you got to be willing to receive without receiving there is no evidence in manifestation. We've got to receive it. Gotta take it. You know how to receive this taken. The average person you pray for administer to they hope not taking anything. They hope, God, miracle or data healer, you never get anything. That's why you've got to receive it. You got to receive it. When you're being ministered to, you've got to take the healing. Gotta take it, receive it, receive it. You never get anything from God without receiving you got to just receive it. Your stand, secondly said and be filled without it already been born again. Therefore he had priced in but he wasn't filled with this in manifestation. He hadn't brought it out. Had it in here born again our God Spirit saved by the power of the Holy Spirit that He had manifested anything. And so he prayed for him, as he ministered to me prayed that he might be filled with a manifestation. And I want to tell you something, the Bible says that the apostle Paul was the greatest man that God ever had to minister. And in First Corinthians chapter 13. Keep your finger in X ray. We'll be back in a moment. First Corinthians chapter 13, a marvelous record in here that everybody ought to know. Not only you people here in the auditorium, but the people listening by radio. They have to know that this record is in the Bible. In verse 80, of chapter 13, First Corinthians, the word of God regarding poles says, I thank my God, I speak with tongues. I speak with tongues. Did the Apostle Paul then speak in tongues? While bless God, What Anand is pay for supernatural butter? No, he prayed that he might be filled with the Holy Spirit in manifestation. And if you're filled with the Holy Spirit in manifestation, ladies and gentlemen, the Bible says that I didn't write it. I have no obligation but the Bible says it the Word of God. And if you say you're a Christian and you believe God's word, then you got to carry out God's word right? No matter what the neighbors say. No matter what the unbelievers in the church say? That's right. We carry out the word of God. And when when Adonai was paid for saw that he be filled with this power of the Holy Spirit in manifestation. One of the things the Apostle Paul did our solid parses did was he spoke with God. And he thank God, thank God years later; he thank God, he said, I speak in tongues more than what y'all then the whole church, they're encouraged more than any one of the more than the whole bunch. He must have spoken in tongues, right? Well, I'd like to say something to the ministers, if any of them happen to be listening tonight. And remind all of us again here in the auditorium. Where is there a minister today? Who has the spiritual greatness of the Apostle Paul? No one, because the way that God says that of all the abundance of the revelations that I've ever been given, no man ever received the abundance of the revelation than the revelations which were given to the Apostle Paul. And if the Apostle Paul spoke in tongues, and he was such a great, wonderful spiritual man, then we certainly we ministers who are not merely Apostle Paul's, in that sense, we ought to also speak in tongues and magnify and glorify God. Boy, your code congregation ah, say amen. That's fine. I suppose that help that warmed it up. Oh, my. You know why they don't want to speak in tongues, because speaking in tongues has been cleared for most people. And the reason it's been cleared, it's because they've gone by the flesh, and the things of the flesh, rather than by the revealed word of God, to be able to read it line by line and word by word, and keep it in alignment and harmony without any shenanigans and baloney in it. Right? Because if, if, if it is done according to the Word of God, it's always decent, and always in order, and God never compels you to do it. You do it by the power of God that save you. So Anand, I said, during the Lord sent me that you might receive your up sight, and not only get healed, that's wonderful to get healed. But what would it profit a man if he gained by God, He knows everything else, and own all the money that was spent in Ohio? Why would it profit a man if he gained all that, that he lost his own word? Therefore, ladies and gentlemen, we got to get not only healed, but filled in manifestation with a power of God, and to be filled in manifestation when the power of God you got to first have it on the inside, ladies and gentlemen, which means you have must be born again. Amen. That's what he says. That's what it means. You see, without revelation, without the operation of these manifestations of the Spirit, you can't explain the Bible. They can't understand it, because one place they lay hands on at the next place. They don't. And you know, it's a marvelous thing. Those people always laying on hands, they miss all those verses where they did lay them hands on, they bypass him. That's no answer. Or if you're accurately work the way to God, he will have to fit all the way through. Well. It says in verse 19. And one he had received food he was strengthened. Then was Sol certain days with the disciples, which were at Damascus. And straightway he preached Christ in the synagogues. Oh, my goodness, why didn't you have to go to the product? Amen. Did you have to go to the Protestant, Theological Seminary? What do I teach Paul stored in a place? Now? He preached Christ in a synagogue, that he is the Son of God. He didn't. He didn't go to the Bible school. They didn't put him on probation for six months to see if he really got saved. Not something straightaway, it says, And straightaway, you're not straightaway me immediately. Pronto. dumps right then in there. Right afterwards, jar. He started preaching Christ. He preached Christ, the very person against whom he had fat before he now preached, that he is the Son of God. Verse 21, and are they that are that heard Him were amazed, flabbergasted, and said, Why is not this he that Pharaoh Pharaoh who destroyed them which called on this naming Jesus, and he's come hither for that intent that he might bring The buyer of the T prints that saw increase the more in what? And confounded the Jews, which was at Damascus, proving that this is done very, very in the key to that understanding of that verse is the word very, that this is the very Messiah that bury Messiah, the very Christ that had been promised to Israel many centuries before. Verse 23, haha. And after that, many days weren't fulfilled, the Jews took console to do up here a short time before he was buddy buddy with him. Not something, but to see his theology changed. Now I want to kill him. Did his attitude change his way of life changed, not the very people he was buddy buddy with before. Now I want to kill him. They like laying Wait, we're not a sauce, they watch the game day or night to kill him boy. Then the disciples took him that is took Sol by night and let him down by the wall in a basket. And you know, people are built in the city of Jerusalem. I have walked this particular story of walk that distance, traveled it. Because when we were injured in Damascus, I asked the best guide in the Near East, who was our guide for Mrs. Where Well, myself and our children. I said to him, Where is the house of this Judas fellow? He said, I don't know. He said, but I'll see if I can find out. And only twice. Of all the 1000s of tourists that go there every year. Only twice. Had this man said Was he ever asked where is the house of Judas because nobody wants to go to the house, the Judas. Everybody that comes to Damascus goes to the House of an iron. That's where they go that nobody goes to Judas is by far far the tour guide didn't know where Judas his place was. But I'll tell you a lot it was it was an old Greek Orthodox Church had been built over the place which is supposed to have been Judas his place. And when we got there, it's all Greek Orthodox Church had been disbanded. And it was covered with wood and slats on the windows and on the doors and was no longer you. But my recollection of it. And at that time, I just wasn't interested in the great distance I just wanted to go. But as well as I can recollect from the movement of traveling there, it must be between a mile and a mile and a quarter from where Annamaya to his house was to the house of Judas. Well, I know I brought this up, or I know how it came up. Because I was also interested in this letting down of the basket over the wall. And the wall, some of the section the old section of Damascus wall is still standing, dating back many, many centuries. And it's real wide, I would say it's 25 to 3040 feet wide. And there are little houses built on top of the wall. So they just left him down out of the window of a house and down the side of the low. That's how he escaped.

38:42

Now there's 26 and when Saul was come to Jerusalem, he has saved to join himself to the disciples that they were all afraid of him. Why were they afraid of him because worried had not reached back to Jerusalem yet that this sorrow fella got converted on the road to Damascus and filled with the Holy Ghost and that he spoke in tongues the same as they had spoken in tongues on the day of Pentecost some time ago. So they were afraid of Him and believe not that he was a disciple, verse 27. And this I love very much. But Barnabas took him. Barnabas is a wonderful man in the Bible. He was a man of compassion and love and understanding. And when something new would come up, instead of Barnabas criticizing Barnabas would go and investigate the matter and look it over honestly for himself. And this is how he found out Barnabas went to visit Seoul and he found out that this fellow was really born again and filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke in tongues. And so Barnabas took him and brought him to the apostles, and declared unto them how he had seen the wording of it. And that he has spoken to him, and how he preached boldly of Damascus, in the name of Jesus. And he was with them coming in and going out at Jerusalem. And he spoke boldly, boldly, in the name of the Lord Jesus. Now, people are stirred This must have caused in Jerusalem, because first of all, for the for tsar to receive orders from the high priests, to be their head man, to bring people Christian people in enslavement back to Jerusalem. He had to have some high connections, right? He was just not some renegade in income group. No, sir. Now this same song gets converted and comes back to the same town. Boy, I tell y'all that the neighbors had a surprise. Because before he left, he was against the Christians. Now he's coming home. He's back here and he's boldly preaching the same Jesus will be with Clinton overnight. They couldn't understand. He gets down to Jerusalem, and he preaches the word of God. And what happens to him same thing happened in in that same thing. It happens every place where the word of God is preached, it always causes trouble, they call out there are always people who do not want to believe the Word of God hairlines that want to make the trouble until I get down drove what he preaches the word of God Bowman, and the third lamb say you want to kill him. So once again, the Lord says to the believers, moving down to sensory authority while and so they load up his suitcase, get the Jeep out and put everything on top. Then at night. I say go for assessories verse 31, then have the churches rest for a while, throughout all Judea and Galilee in some area, and we're well edified, build up, edify, the churches were at abide, and they will, in the reverence the word fear is the word reverence respect all of the Lord, and in the comfort in the comfort of the Holy Ghost, were not applied in the comfort, comfort of the power of the Holy Spirit. They were not applied. There was comfort in that church. Ladies, gentlemen, when our wonderful isn't the need of the heart of every man today in the church because comfort, comfort, and this only comes by the power of the Holy Spirit being multiplied in manifestation. Had they not walked by revelation, by word of knowledge, word of wisdom and discerning of spirits, had they not walked by revelation manifestation? Saw would have been killed in the masks. How do you not walk by revelation to gotten killed in Jerusalem? Not because they walked by revelation when the pressure got on. They simply moved him to the next place God told them about and as they kept moving, comfort, comfort, God work this thing out. Comfort because the men who kick against the word of God are constantly kicking against the pricks, they only hurt themselves. And as they hurt themselves, churches began to grow, churches began to grow. You know, my friend persecution has never heard anyone if he's walking by revelation. Firstly, persecution makes people grow because you find out who plays tiddlywinks and who's really in the ball game who wants to pass it over and who really wants to really walk. It's in the way to God. And that's therefore it's a tremendous thing to see that story. Now those 32 And it came to pass as Peter Platt pass throughout this section of the country, he came down also to the saints which dwell at later and there he found a certain man named Alia, which had kept his bed eight years and was sick of the palsy. A man having been in bed for eight years. How much physical strength does he have the first time he steps on his feet? Very little, because some of our people and some of us have laid in hospital beds even for a week. How much strength Did you add on your feet the first time you got up after a week. This man had been in bed eight years. And he wasn't a Rip Van Winkle. He kept his bed ages and was sick of the poles. And Peter said on dem O'Neill, Jesus Christ naked the whole arise and make my bed and he arose six months later. He arose when immediately and all bralette, Lita and Sam sell him and turned to the Lord class in 30 verses of Scripture, some of the greatest tools of God's word are again set forth and hardly anybody sees it when you're reading. When he came down to an ear, he found this man who had been sick for eight years. There were other men and there were other men. In this city of litter, there were other men there who had been sick. There were other women there who was sick. Just not this one fellow. Then why in the world, does he find out about just one man being sick? Why not everybody? Why just want to see us as a questions doctor, we have dust ourselves. Look in your city have a pier is our mindset. Or you're adopted? But not Ronnie says that many. Alright. Suppose Peter came to your town when he walked in? Why should he just pick on an image? When everybody else is sick to a whole hospital fill up? Right? Why should he just pick on one? So? There has to be a reason right? Otherwise, you'll have to say it's hit or miss guesswork. Fact be guesswork, because you might have guessed wrong women are the wrong man or something. Therefore, again, revelation of all the people in this town of little who were sick, there was only one who God no would believe at that particular time to be delivered. Only one he knew that. And Peter, Peter was in alignment harmony, Peter was working with his hand in hand. Spiritually, the Bible says he was filled with the Holy Ghost and Peter spoke in tongues interpret a prophesied operator with a knowledge wisdom discerning your first faith, miracles and healing. And so here Peter comes to this town of litter. And what he's walking into that town, he's in there, all at once. God by Revelation shows him. Here's one man. He's been in bed for eight years. And he has a bad case of posing. Though, Minister delete, that's the key to it. That's what they don't see. Otherwise, Dr. Buxton, what they'll have to say is that it was just accident, it just happened. And people if it just happened, that then you have no logic of operation, then you have no God of order and sequence, then you just have a haphazard situation. And that cannot be true Christianity. But if you understand revelation manifestation, whereby were denied knowledge, God told Peter, about this man, by word of wisdom, God told me not to do and by discerning of spirits. God told him when it was administered, because it was, so he got the info. He had the information he had the he had, what he really needed. And so he goes down there. And Peter, verse 34, said unto Aeneas, he said, underneath Jesus Christ, make up the up. I think that takes the old text reads. And, Jim, I like for you to check this in Aramaic, sometimes it's in the past tense. It says, Jesus Christ has made the he has already made you Oh, why, Tom, because that scripture says, By His stripes, he went a lot. And Jesus's stripes by which we were healed, had been committed and pass through long before Peter arrived in Lidl to minister to an IES, right. That's why it has to agree with this text raise. And yet, who ministered the healing leader. But the reason Peter could minister the healing is because Jesus Christ had made him a hole in the death of Christ when he was by His stripes, we are healed, understand. And yet it was Peter will have to do the ministry, not Jesus Christ. Remember the story in Acts where there was a man sitting at the temple gate beautiful. And Peter and John went in at an hour of prayer and Peter said, such as I have, I want to give the ID the name of Jesus Christ rise up and walk. Unless you and I minister it, it will never be done. But we must always remember that the ability we have to minister is not of ourselves, but it is of him who died for us that we might live abundantly. And so Peter, Peter did this. He said, Jesus Christ has made the whole arise, arise and make dial up. And T, the man who had not worked, been out of bed for eight years, what did he do? He arose, he viously a mmediately. Not only did God healing, but God strengthened he, he had to, because how in the world pretty have walked around, unless he didn't have the strength to do it, right. And being in bed for eight years, wouldn't give him too much strength to walk around. So God not only healed him through the ministry of Peter, but he strengthened him. Now, this is the greatness class. Just because people are sick, should never get us all upset. You know? Because people have said, well, if you really believed in healing, really believed that God gives you to the ministry of healing today, then you could just go into every hospital and clear it out. For the doctors be mad if you do that. The nurses wouldn't like it. And the Undertaker's would object to the florist. And you'd just be in a mess. That's right. Even Dr. turocy might object to my comment is slower or anybody else? Not that look at it, how silly it is. But it isn't, it is silly, unless you understand revelation. Here's our whole hospital full of sick people. A whole town full of sick people, and being born again a God Spirit and filled with the Holy Spirit. What do you do when you live there? You reach up and say, Father, what can I do for you today? And Father says what takes the day off? Sure. Take the day off. You don't appreciate my sense of humor. I don't believe maybe I don't have any. But you know what I found among people when they start getting spiritual. Most of them want to get out there and they always want to be on the go doing something. What if you're really going to walk by revelation? You're not going to always be doing you're sometimes going to be doing by sitting? Yes, sir. Just like in this class on power for binary living, all you're doing is sitting there for two and a half hours a night that's all you're not doing anything and yet you are doing the same way in this whole ministry. Remember the story the Old Testament about the cloud by day in the pillar of fire by night and have it read at some time the Old Testament it says what that's when the cloud move the children move when the Todd said still the children stood still. They only move when God told them to move the rest of the time they had tea with wafers that that's what's wrong. You're not just get your tea at the right hour. I used to tell a story, Reverend way he did to my people that we have a very dear friend in England who lives in Maxfield. He was a captain in the last war, and he worked in the pile. And I tell you, he was in the United States for two weeks till I finally figured it out. I was so embarrassed. Because I'd asked him three times what his job was. He always said he worked in the PIO office. And I got to thinking Well boy, anybody that can serve in the English navy and constantly be in the PIO office, he must be getting fed up on eating pie. That I thought that'd be good for me because I like pie. Well anyways, when I finally got it all figured out. He was working in the pay office.

54:48

Yeah. And he was telling me that he was telling me that the limeys he said, no matter how severe the war no matter how far the battle gone. He said comes three to 33 or four o'clock on the afternoon. He said, We've got to have our tea. Add, therefore, everything just stopped for a while we have tea and then we go back to fight the battle way, do you know why the British sailors are called limeys. They called many, many years ago when they were first moving into the category of becoming outstanding saline sailors. They had a severe epidemic aboard the ship. And all they had in the hold was lemons. And so they fed them all the lemons and they got over their sickness, and that's why they're called lane.

55:46

Alright, I'm telling you the truth. None of you believe that's true check. Go check the history book, Mrs. Chrome. Thank you, Grace. I'm glad. I'm glad I got one believer, it's a woman but she believes.

56:03

And that's wonderful, because now I'm going to read you a tremendous story about a woman. We have just read about a man who got set free now about a woman. In verse 36, there was a job of a certain disciple named to beat, which by interpretation is power of darkness. This woman was full of good works and armed deeds which she did. And it came to pass in those days that she was sick. And what died. Boy, that's a pitiful state to be in. When they had what they laid her in an upper chamber, and so as much as lighter was nice to Joppa. And the disciples had heard that Peter was there they sent unto him to men desiring him that he would not delay to come to them. Remember the scriptures precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his sight. Boy, if anybody's going to do anything about this one, then he's going against the will of God, right? Because a wonderful saint has just died will leave her dead. Everything you see is like I told you the word patience means cause sleep, has a side of the Lord, just anything but the other person on the Bible says Well, here's a wonderful, wonderful lady. And then Peter rose, verse 39, and went with them. And when he was Tom, Hey, why did Peter go with him? Because of one thing what Revelation you know why? Because on other occasions he didn't go as coming right now because as I put it in the vernacular, he reached up in Daddy's cookie jar. His Heavenly Father and the Father He said to him go out another time Peter leeches out Valerie says have another potty. He doesn't go short. take the afternoon off. Sit still don't get bored people is terrific. Because even today, in my ministry, it's constantly a matter of blocking because people will ask you things and before you act, you not always reach up for revelation if father says do you do if he says Don't you know? If he says Sit Still you sit still, if he says though, you know. I remember this so vividly. Because of our experiences in bandwidth. A certain person was sick of our members had gone to hospital or something wasn't a friend I forget, but somebody and they called me and wanted me to go. And after two days, I didn't go my daughter she got real upset. And I don't blame her I get upset too. Even with myself I used to get upset regarding this thing because I wanted if I was plugged in, you know, getting no info no information. So I didn't visit in the second day. I didn't know that in the third day. And by that time if you're not gonna call on people who are sick they're gonna say well preacher has no interest in me see, now unlocked me well, about the fifth day or so finally, God said I could go so let everything worked out beautifully. Had I gone those other days that a little work. But to walk by revelation is the key understand God by word of knowledge says gives you the information he tells you what to do. If he doesn't say anything. For once in your life sit still. Don't act. Keep your car in neutral. So tell you when to do. Beto is perfect though. So Peter gets up and he goes. And when they were come, they brought him in the upper chamber, and all the widows. See, all the widows stood by Peter, and they were weeping. And I can just imagine what Oh, Pete felt like they were weeping their eyes out. He was showing the coats and the garments that Doug has have made while she was with them. And so Peter said, sisters, let's all kneel down and pray. That sees him. God be with you till we meet again or something. No, you know, I got to put it all out. He shot. Was that nice? For me, Hey, how can we put pillows? We've been running out? Didn't you like to wear them? Nothing wrong with 11. But again, so revelation, don't just say that revelation by revelation, God said, Come on, take care of those nice girls. Get those ladies out. Close the door. So Peter puts them all on. He kneel down. And he did love. So every time now you'll want to leave. Somebody said you put out a cry and women love to do down and pray oh, no. If you do, they'll still stay then. Unless you have one thing worth well, and there's a key to it. The idea you could go around and raise everybody that's dead. The bunch of baloney the idea you could go into every hospital and raise everybody it's sick as a bunch of baloney. You have to have one thing that revelation, if God says do it, do it if he doesn't, don't do it. You make a fool of yourself, and uphold of the God who you say you allow that move. You say Yes, sir. Peter said, God said to Peter, put them all out and kneel down and pray. And another time it doesn't say anything about Neely. Revelation people, he kneeled down, and he prayed in any turn himself to the dead bodies to visa. And he said, Who do? Arise? And she opened her up. Amen. How many times did he have to pray? What he didn't believe didn't that God didn't plead with God. He didn't have to stay on his knees an hour and a half. Why? Because he had word revelation. And his prayer is Perl is not a begging of God, he already knew God's will, His power was simply at Thanksgiving. I thank you, God for raising up this child who now has shown me by revelation by going to raise therefore in the name of Jesus Christ to be there. All people what our message there is in God's word and how little we know about God's Word today, and how much less we believe that right? That's why we need classes on power for analytics. That's why we need to work the word has nothing to do with your theology, or mine has everything to do. Can we again, get a group of people who can work the word and can we get to the place that we can again, believe it and operated? Sure, bless your heart. She opened her eyes when she saw people, Peter, she dropped over dead. No, not at all. You would expect to be rather sharp. So I know. She saw Peter. She sat up she said well praise. Wonderful. He gave his hand doesn't mean he got married Dora. He simply took her by the hand. And he lifted it up. And when he told the saints, the Saints nipply right, who else did he call the time with? The crime wave and the weep and ones that he had had before God by revelation said now bring them all back in Peter, open the door be nice and presented. Oh, ladies and gentlemen. I present to you Debbie. He presented her five verse 42. And it was known throughout all up your sin think keeper thing like this class. It was known throughout all jobs, and money because of this miracle, believe it or not, ladies and gentlemen, if you and I want people again to believe in God's Word, we got to have some signs, miracles and wonders in the ministry. You've got to believe for God to do things under your hand. You've got to believe that Jesus Christ died for us and that by his fights, we weren't healed and that God has given us this ability to help men and women. And with those signs, miracles and wonders, people will again believe on us. There are those signs, miracles and wonders. People cannot believe for those that is dead.

1:05:15

That's why what he presented are alive. Everybody in Java do it. And so it came to pass that he tarried there many days in Java with one Simon up. Oh, I love that. Simon a tanner. He was a stinkiest man in town. He was in a tanning business. He wasn't even in town to be honest with you. He was outside of the city limits where the tanneries had to be built. And there were even had health departments Why do you call those things today? State Department of Health or something they had under those days, because the tanners had to build their businesses outside of the city limits. And they had to bail them out the place where the wind was just blow on the right direction. Because their business really stunk. And yet, ladies and gentlemen, when when Peter had performed this marvelous miracle by the power of God, these people this woman was set free. When he came to dwell with someone he didn't pay attention to the person of the man or the business. He went by Revelation where God told him to go Oh Maggie mother divided him but he didn't go Oh Johnny jump up said I'd like for you to visit my house but Peter didn't go but a certain man who was a tanner said Peter, would you mind coming to my place and Father said go and old Peter hotfoot the down to Simon the tanner and I tell you if you read the rest of the book of Acts, tremendous things occurred because when he was at Simon the tanners how a cold Tom some Cornelius done some Cornelius? Three men. Right? I tell you that shines miracles and wonders ever rot in the hands of those men. In those days were as wonderful as those that God does today. Because that same god of that day is our God today, right.
