Victor Paul Wierwille was a Bible scholar and teacher for over four decades.

He studied at the University of Chicago and at Princeton Theological Seminary from which he received a Master of Theology degree in Practical Theology. Later he completed his work for the Doctor of Theology degree.
Dr. Wierwille taught the first class on Power for Abundant Living in 1953.

I believe I will read the fifth chapter of Galatians. Completely tonight, before we begin to work it, to see the great diversity. But perhaps I ought to reiterate something that is familiar among many of my students. And that is that to understand the book of galleys, you must understand Romans and Corinthians, The Book of Romans was the great positive revelation that was given. And because of the practical errors that crept into the church, due to the failure of the adherence to the revelation, in the book of Romans, Corinthians was written, then Galatians was written due to the doctrinal error, which had crept into the church, because of the practical error, of the failure of the adherence to the revelation given in the book of Romans. Unless you read Romans, Corinthians and galleys in the light of this, which I've just said, the book will forever be closed. You see, before you get into doctrinal error, you practice it for a while. And that's why the practical air is covered in Corinthians. But after they are practiced error for a laugh, they make the practice of that air into a doctrine. That spiral has occurred in the book of Galatians. And of course, this straightens out the doctrine layer. Romans chapter five standfast therefore, in the Liberty where with Christ has made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. Behold, I will say unto you, that if you'd be circumcised, Christ shall profit to read nothing. Verse three, For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is adept or to do the whole alone. Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law, er Paul and some grace. Are we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith, or in Jesus Christ, neither circumcision availeth anything, nor uncircumcision but faith, which work is by luck. You did one well, who did hinder you that he should not obey the truth? This persuasion Tom has not given that quality, olive 11, Lebanon, the whole lot. I have confidence in you through the load, that you will be not otherwise minded. But he's a public you shall bear His judgment who celebrity be. And I, brethren, if I get preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution, then is the offense of the cross, I would, they were even cut off which cover you are brethren, you have been called unto liberty. Only use not your liberty, or an occasion to the place, but by love one another. All the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself, that if he bites endevours, one another, a feed, that should be not consumed one another, this is season, walk in the Spirit, and He shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh, or the place less this against the Spirit and the Spirit against the flame. And these are contrary the one to the other, so that she can not do the things that you would. But if you Beloved of the Spirit, you are not under the law. Now the words to the flesh are manifest, which are the adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, which is lust, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variants emulations last rites, tradition, heresy, and the murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like the which I tell you before, as I've also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance, against such, there is no love. And David are priced at peace crucified the place with the affections and if we live by or in the spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. And this is where this chapter of the next verse should begin the next chapter. In the first verse of this tremendous chapter.

It tells us that we are to spend time therefore in the liberty, where with Christ has made us free One of the reasons there is so much confusion among so called God's people born again of God's Spirit, is because there are very few people who ever rise up to really believe that the word means what it says and says what it means, and that what Christ really wants. For us, we are willing to accept them to believe. The Scripture plainly teaches in Ephesians, and every other place which is addressed to the church, the Body of Believers, that when men and women are saved, they are saved by grace. That any man said what? Now, if we have what Christ made available, and this we have, and we are born again of history, and everything that Christ did, then it is of grace and not a word. You and I have nothing to do with Christ coming. We have nothing to do to improve our salvation, our redemption, our righteousness, because all of this is the work of the Lord Jesus Christ. There are two words that separates the old covenant by the way, from the new, the Old Covenant, the word Do, Do this, do this, do this, and God would reckon righteousness unto them. In the New Covenant, it's the word done do any, it is done in Pisces, he paid it off, he died upon the cross, He saved us, He paid the price, and I had nothing to do with it. Now when I was born again of God's Spirit, but you were born again, a God, Spirit, Christ is in you, the hope ago. And people. This is what he's talking about. That we who are born again, of God's Spirit artists stand fast. In the Liberty well with price has made us free. And the only people who ever walk with an effervescence and a goal and a real radiance and a power are men and women who stand fast in that liberty. With Christ has set them free, and are not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. You know what the yoke of bondage is? The law. The law is the yoke of bondage. And how few people can you find today, they are not under bondage. They put you under this or under that, or they get another idea. And it puts you under this law under that law. And if they haven't got one, they manufacture law to put something right. And the scripture says, We're not to be untangled anymore. Once again, no, no, with the yoke of bondage. People a lot of tremendous message This is for the church today. If only the church would hear the Word of God, and refuse to go by what people say and go by what the revealed word of God says. He says where to stand fast. And you know what it means to stand fast. That means you let everybody push you around. No, it does. The same task is to stand like that. Are we speaking here tonight, like the rest of these young people were speaking this afternoon. That standing firm standing in the Liberty and this word liberty is a remarkable word here I'll give it to you from the text. The Greek word is PCI LPA, R R e si eight, R usea. The word party CR means Oh, with a fearless mind. That's the meaning of the word liberty. The word Liberty means boldly with a fearless mind. That's something that stand boldly without any fear. And how do you get this kind of knowledge into your mind on a one way by believing what the Word says and putting on up here in the mind that God's word says that's how you get rid of the fear of the mind.

Then faster for fearlessly? Oh, oddly, fearlessly with a renewed mind, in the Liberty, where with Christ has made us what faith and people have Christ made us free we'll run free in deeds and scriptures says and all what a thrill this is when once you realize that your sins are forgiven? Aren't we saying that I when once you belong to him, when once you've made that decision, and you have what Christ says you have? You are what Christ says you are then people. Isn't it a thrill to be able to stand free? I just allow no group, no religious body or no religious one to pick me under any of those. I refuse to be under them. Why? Because price set me free. And by the way, he set me free he set me free. And I'm not going to allow a man or woman or a society or a group to put me under something that price set me free. Pastor for my people in the liberty, the Liberty and with a fearless mind, in the liberty with which Christ has made you free and be not entangled again, the word entangled is the word ene echo, and echo and Nicole B, be no longer held in. You know, it's like they throw a nip for a wild game to catch a wild game. And that net and tangled beat the game and tangles itself within that net. That's the word that shows here. He no longer held him. Negative and tangled. Thank you just see the tangling of it like a spiders that we just call it. One thing, the yoke of bonding, the yoke of bonding, the law has never been anything, not a yoke to people. If the law could have saved people, then Christ died in vain. Then he came in they faced is the end of the law. To everyone who believes isn't a sum. I talked to a group of our people about this chapter this morning. We went through it, we read it. I didn't take it apart as I'm taking it apart with you here tonight. And putting it together that we went through it to see the greatness of it. I could read this chapter 1000 times and every time I read it my soul thrilled within the thing of what Christ did for me. And that I have this freedom. And people are a tremendous thing it is to be free, that you're not under the yoke of bondage. Most of the Christians are condemned for one thing or another. Then you come along, don't do this. Don't do that. Don't do that. Tell yourself along with it. Why doesn't someone come along and say do this, do that do that. Because when you introduce LiDAR, the word of God duck has disappeared. And talk about darkness. All you do is increase mode. That's like the federal preacher sin, bless his soul. The only thing is going to have these congregations while he's preaching. Right? You preach send to your people I hear people got to committed to keep preaching. That's why they keep coming back. That's why these people are always preaching sin, if you want to see it in operation, just getting their fellowship. They'll talk about not having that they got it in manifestations as we're talking about. You see if you introduce white, darkness disappear. And there's a lot more in the Word of God about salvation from sin and the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, the number is on Tim, why don't we hold up the Savior comes in. And when we get him, Tim Pawlenty a struggle, ladies and gentlemen, he settled it. That's why we stand fast in the liberty with Christ has set us free. And we are not intended again in any way, shape, or form with any law of bonding, none of them and nothing, that that law, nothing will ever occur under that law except bonding.

And have the Lord had it written last year this morning. He'd have it in here. Because the problem that many of the communities and church groups run into is basically included in the second verse, and hardly anybody wants to face up to it and believe it when they want to argue about, well, you argue with or don't argue with me I didn't like the word says, I Paul said to you that if you be circumcised FACESHOP Papa to us. That's what it means. That's what it says. And you know what that verse also says that if you're baptized at prophets, you nothing that Christ died, and he works. And he works this to banks that anybody's going to do is in that second verse. You bet your life it's right. Because it's just one word would do something for you then two words to do twice as much, and three were triplets and then I lose track that was sent to Texas, all the way down there. And then God would be a respecter of persons. Look at the doctrine that had crept in holiday and those people already and this was at the time of the greatest revelation the web had ever seen and given to the apostle Paul, that before he died, got out into like this great word of God for the Church was already enslaved in bondage again, those very people who have been set free, Satan had come back, taken him there with their eyes and put them under legalism and law again. This is why He said, If you be circumcised, nice, sharp profit, you want nothing. And in that day, who was following Paul around Weber, Paul priest, if you read the book about to the rest of the church, whatever Paul preached the duty it was we're following the circumcision boys. And they said, Yes, it's wonderful to have Christ. You must be circumcised. Hey, Ali, anybody needs to Scripture today? I haven't heard of fighting the church over circumcision. In all the years I've been a ministry that either of you have seen some dandies on water baptism. I have seen some dandies on communion. Other thing. That's why in this one verse, you see the word of God meets every meet. It doesn't always specifically set answer every problem. But every problem is this typically covered in that scripture, which deals with anything that would come under words, you could put in that secondary. I say to you, that if you be circumcised, face up, up at us, and we're nothing means nothing. That's what it means. When I testify again, verse three, to every man there circumcised, that if he does, this is better to do that for now, that's either do it all, or none. Either Christ did it, as he said he did. Under the legalistic yoke of bondage, you have to keep falling out. I just become another effect on you. The Christ, like Christ accomplished is of no effect. If this legalistic tendency and love does anything, whosoever you are justified by that you are. It doesn't mean that you get unsaved it simply means that you have fallen away from walking in the grace where what Christ Jesus saved you. You're not walking in the light as He is the light. You're walking in. Christ, it's become a matter of fact, if you're justified by the law, you are falling someplace. There outside of the pillar of the grace of God, they are believing that they can do something for themselves. God be merciful to people like we buy the spirits. In the spirit. The text is, preposition by, or weak by spirit, no article in any critical Greek text, weight, or by the spirits, we wait for the hope of righteousness by faith. There is a tremendous verse of scripture, only by the Spirit by this which God has loved. Wait for the hope of righteousness. The hope of righteousness is the return of the who was the righteous one, which is Christ do we wait for the hope of righteousness by faith, whose faith that faith of Jesus Christ which he wants, which is unto all and upon all that do one thing was really, and that is, without measure?

By sex, in Jesus Christ, in Jesus Christ, neither circumcision or anything, nor uncircumcision, that faith, which worth it by luck. We talked about this, this morning, the word, the word work. The word work is the word, the root word energy Mata, and which we get the English word energy. It's faith, that faith which workers which is energized by the love, is love. I know that he gave his only begotten son John 316. God so know. That he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life. That faith, that faith of Jesus Christ which lifted which is energized by the love of God by love, not your love, not mine. That is, isn't that wonderful? This translation and I'll give it to see if that pencils and papers I'll give you a literal translation according to usage of this tremendous six words, which I have worked with a minute accuracy. If you're ready to learn I see this is a literal translation according to use eight, or when Jesus is born with him. Neither circumcision nor uncircumcision gives one spiritual strength. Your faith is energized effectively in manifestation, by the love of God in the renewed mind. And this is what makes one powerful. That is a literal translation.

Or seven, he did run well, he said, Just started out wonderfully. You were really running around beautifully with the greatness of the word at all. Then who did hinder you Who stopped you that you should not obey the truth? And who stops people from running the greatness of God's word once they know it? Not that they right. And Satan being spirit can only operate through people. And this is exactly what happened. He says in verse eight, this persuasion on the part of the people who are being influenced by Satan, does not have him that call it you know, who called you, God, God calls you. God called you to salvation, right? Therefore, this persuasion to go the other way, didn't come from God. And who did come from, say, the only two powers in this world. One is the dumb Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the other god is called Satan is the god of this room, the only two powers at the head. And everything that occurs is under the influence or domination of one or the other. And he says in verse nine, I love him. And that's why just a little bit, we'll take the whole, the lemon stands for evil. Well, that which is contrary to God's word, and just a little bit of it introduced among the body of believers is going to our body. That's fine, ladies and gentlemen, men of God, if that call of God with Ministries of apostles, prophets, evangelists, teachers, or pastors have to take a stand, and having done all these fans, if nobody else, but he doesn't make a bit of effort, as long as that man of God's name but the moment he gets the moment he gives them, everybody and everything goes down the drain. That's right. I said, You did run well. You started out all right, that someone came along and persuaded you the wrong way. And this is why they had made a doctrine out of this thing. It's wonderful to get saved by grace. That it's no longer grace when you put the bucks there. So we have a little bit of circumcision, they said, today we say let's have a little water baptism. Somebody else says have a little bit of this, a little bit of that. The Word of God says you are saved by grace number and therefore the Liberty nobody had that. One or Sejal, not even one little of that Levin to come in and let you take a stand in your community, in your church in your area. You take a stand on God's word and stay put and as long as you stand, if you are leading a group, or if you have two or three people among whom you minister and help, if you stand, then no matter who tries to bring Anything extraneous in from the outside, which is of Satan. They cannot ruin the outfit, as long as you stand on God's word. But he's at a tremendous thing. He says, I have confidence in you through the Lord, that you'll be done otherwise minded that you're really stay Pip. But he's had trouble with you, that people have trouble you to put you under the legalism. They shall bear His judgment is everything. And I bet if I preach that circumcision, then is the offense of the cross. The words why do I yet suffer persecution are not in the critical Greek text. I still haven't defined brethren yet preach circumcision. If I would dare to preach you, then that cross that thought, you know why the cross is an offense. Because it takes all the joy out of their good work. That's quite an old thing. Because everybody feels so good. If he can pull himself up by his bootstraps and paying for something and say, Look what I did for Maggie mother. Look what I did for Herman Miller. I helped here. I bought the flowers, I set the candles, look what I did for you, Lord, and I come to church every Sunday and sit on the front view, and I put in my weekly dollar web, okay, I do this Lord just for you. That's something myoma. If they if he preached circumcision, then the offensive of course, would be because the offense of the classes that came in who knew no sin, the law, what we came up, that we might be what? The righteousness of God in Him and everything we have in him, because he is you know, oh, what a tremendous, as Powell said, know that it is nice to use a hope ago. And it is easy to accomplish that. He knows that stumbling forward, what is a stumbling block, he was a lockable thing. Because he paid. And this is why it's so tremendous. Because all through the Old Testament, they endeavored to acquire these things by their work. They had to carry out like on the Day of Atonement, they have to be there to receive like righteousness. They have to attempt the Feast of Tabernacles, Pentecost and Passover, so forth, they had to go. By with the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, he paid it all. He became our substitute. He became the one who died to bear our sins and our six. And by His stripes, we are healed. We accomplished at fourth. This is why the cross is always an opening. It's always an offense to people, because everybody wants to do something for us. Well, you're finally get to the place. You just know you're in such a poor shape. You can't do anything anyway. So you're just studying God's word like I did, and say, Lord, thank you for watching. And when you start believing that you start doing something on the inside, that you start manifesting something, you get an effervescence, and you get an exuberant, if that's a good word, I don't know. But you get radiating with a greatness of a paradox. And that freedom is the greatest thing in the world today. There may be pleasant bars of steel and everything else, that that freedom you have in Christ Jesus, no prison bar can in case no prison bars can surround. No prison bars can obstruct that freedom you have to watch priceless for you. But it's 30 The better you have been called unto one thing that Liberty you have been called on to liberty, wholeness with a fearless mind. And they do not use that boldness with a fearless mind. Do not use that liberty for an occasion to the place that by love by the love of God which is in Christ Jesus, which is in you in the renewed mind in manifestation by that now. There was one another. It's never a question. Basically, of what you can do for me. It is a question of what can I do for you? It is a question of serving If it's a law, it's a law, that as you give you one receipt. And so we who are born again a bad spirit, or not to use this liberty, that's freedom we have in Christ Jesus. We're not to use it as an occasion of the place. The flesh is just the opposite of the spirit. We're not to use it as an occasion or the place, that we're to serve one another, serve one another. I am to help you, you are to help me really, you are to help someone else. Now that I'm here, we're talking about serving those who are in dicey.

Those 14, how hard it is to fit in 100. Even in a bow shop, Love thy neighbor, as I said, in one sentence, said, Love thy neighbor as thyself. But verse 50, if you buy and buy one another day, he that up have consumed one of another tremendous figure his speech, if you bite and devour that another, you're going to automatically be consumed, like these appear upon words and why it's such a tremendous figure. If one Christian bites another, if one group finds another group, if one divider is another, you just allow Satan to come in. And don't take this liberty you have in Christ Jesus as a service to the place to all Satan's and that Satan brings backbiting hardship between people. No, no, no, no, no. No six days. This I say, walk in the spirit walk by that article in the political break text the King James man put it in again. Not by the spirit of that by the service or by the revelation which God has given in his words. That's the walk by the Spirit. Secondly, walking by the city is to walk by revelation, where the word of God ceases on the particular thing regarding which you need information. Now, it plainly says, Your steadfast in the Liberty and from here on out you want the spirit, your walk by the revealed word of God. And by that revelation, which God gives to you, by word of knowledge, or wisdom and discerning of spirits. And if you're walked by this, you're not going to prefer the love of God. Right? And the flesh is always lusting, to make itself righteous. Sees I think that this lesson applies here as just the opposite it isn't. There are 70 or the face, the face, lusted after the Spirit, against the Spirit, and the Spirit against what's right. And these are absolutely contrary the one to the other. So that you cannot do that things that you will, if you go by your sense knowledge, or what the community says to left after the patient, always walk by good works. You'll always walk by legalism, you'll always felt under the yoke of bondage. That's the place. The place is nothing but a yoke. But to walk by the Spirit, and make your place to hold the line with what the Spirit says and he says that, if he be led by the Spirit, be led by spirit. You are not under that if you won't allow the Spirit to lead you, you're putting yourself under what and then Christ is of no profit to you. This death is of no value to you. Or if you put yourself under that law again, you got to keep the whole. Now he starts with something which is very well understood. This is 1920 and 21 have nothing to do with a person who is born again. These are now setting together here, one after the other, furnish the place site and then the Spirit site and he says that the place and the third really are badly. The works of the flesh are manifest Which are the adults fornication uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, spiritualism, ESP. Psychology, that art, like art, out of these things, hatred, variants emulations wrath, right, the decent heresy and big murderers, drunkenness, revellings. And such like, I believe I tell you before, as I've also told you in time past, that they which do such things in their face, who are not born again, those people shall not inherit the kingdom of us that are tangled around that of the spirit, the fruit of the Spirit.

The fruit of the Spirit, is the result of the operation of the manifestations of the Spirit. These are not fruit of good words. Because 1920 and 21 are the proof of work. They are the they are the proof of work 1920 and 21. And if you're going to be saved by works, you're never going to make it because they that do such things under hooks are not inherited, that the fruit of the Spirit. Ollie, anybody sees this Mr. monopoly that it says through to the Spirit. They read it as if it says fruit of good works. It doesn't say that fruit of good works in those 22 Does it? It says what plant food and fruit of spirit is fruit of spirit. It's not as good. As ask yourself, honestly, are there any good words? biblically speaking, not not one. Man's good works, the best that man can do is anathema in God's sight. That it is the fruit of the Spirit. And yet how the teaching has been that those 22 is the fruit of good works. The fruit of good works, they say the biggest thing is that they say it doesn't make any difference whether you speak in tongues or don't. And yet the scripture in Corinthians addressed to the church that I will draw speak in tongues. This is a commandment that they say doesn't make as long as you just love everybody. All baloney. Right. They say that greatest is love. That's not what the Word of God says. That's what they say. This is not talking about what it is talking about other spirits. And if you're going to have fruit of the Spirit, you've got to operate that which produces. You can't have an apple until you've got an apple tree on your plate. If you're going to have an apple, you have to have a tree or somebody had to have a tree to get an apple to Hamleys up, you've got to have a tree. Now if you're going to have fruit of the Spirit, you have to be operating you have to have the route, that tree which produces that fruit. And the Scripture teaches in Corinthians, that is a manifestation of the Spirit, which produce the fruit of the tree as you operate the manifestations of speaking in tongues, interpretation of tongues and prophecy, we Denali, whatever is designing a set of miracles and healing, as these are in operation among the body of believers, who do not use this liberty as an opportunity to walk in a place that who uses liberty to operate the greatness of others with a fearless mind that in a fearless mind, as they operate these manifestations in the body of believers, then the church produces the truth of the spirit, that fruit of the Spirit is love. God doesn't say happiness in verse 22. It says Love, joy, because joy is an inside job. Happiness is dependent upon material things in the environment surroundings, which you live by, is an inside job. You could be miserable in that surroundings. with which your income and still be abundantly filled the job. Remember what Jesus had who for the joy that was set before him endured? What was it was enduring the cost, happiness delay. That was misery, right. And yet, in spite of that thought he had joy. It's an inside job. Oh, these are the fruit of the Spirit, love, joy, peace, long suffering, long suffering. Gravy, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, humanity tempered. You say, these are fruit of the Spirit. And when you walk by the Spirit, and are not entangled again with the yoke of bondage, the greatness of this thing is that when you're not, there is no knowing this fruit of the Spirit. Isn't that wonderful?

Those 25 and they that are Christ's, they that are Christ's have crucified the place with the affections and what the original text reads, and those that are close, have had the flesh crucified. Because when Christ died, to bear our sins, He bare our sicknesses. We died with him. That's why when he was crucified, that happens our place, it was crucified with Him. Because the church started on the day of Pentecost, and the Gospels close before the day of painting. The scripture says that it closes with the ascension of the Lord. And Pentecost came 10 days after the ascension nightmare sure bye Out of the eyes of Christians as to let them not let them see the freedom that they have the liberty the greatness of this power they have. Well, I know what people say they say, Well, if you had this kind of liberty always want to go out and see. How stupid can you get? If God so loved the world that he gave, and we have the greatness of this love. Remember that the apostle Paul wrote to the church, shall we then send that up? grace may abound done for that. Because if God gave us something so precious and so wonderful, we should just live with that abundance with that glow without ever bet.
