Dr. Wierwille taught the first class on Power for Abundant Living in 1953.

Bless your hearts turn to the book of Ephesians. Thank you, Rhoda. Thank you, Dorothy. Your delight? Can you remember? Can you imagine an entire government being run by Devil spirits? Can you imagine an entire denomination being controlled by Devil spirits? Can you imagine an individual making a decision for his business for his life, his family and everything else doing this entirely by influences of devil spirits. There are very, very few people who can understand this for a number of reasons. Number one, we do no longer believe that there are devil spirits. There are simply it a matter of psychology. All you need to do if you feel sick along some of these lines, you go to a psychiatrist, or you you get into the field of Psychosomatic Medicine. We do not believe that there are devil spirits that influence people. We do not believe that the Word of God is real and genuine. Therefore, we take those sections that deal with devil spirits. And we say well, the later writers just added that to the Gospels for instance, or to the church epistles. What if they added it later? Then how can you trust it at any other place? But you see, the reason we use all these crazy arguments is simply because we do not care to believe we do not care to understand the greatness of God's wonderful work. This is not for the rest of you this just for class members down here. So don't come up here and take these home with you. I'll jump sky high. But here in this magazine Argosy magazine is the record.

I didn't ride up be surprised. But you see the church not knowing anything about this? Because they don't believe it to begin with. Then how in the world? Can you have good government? How in the world can you have a good denomination and run it like the word says it ought to be run because we don't know this side. The thing that I'm beginning in tonight, very few people know little about very little about about all they know about it is they don't believe in it. And that's just exactly what Satan wants you to do. Not to believe and to believe that his side is genuine. And this is where he's pulled the wool over our eyes. I said to you a little while ago that it's perhaps my knowledge of the whole spiritualist field, as well as of the field of extrasensory perception. Now I'm thinking in the terms of psychic research, Duke University, these kinds of places. It's my knowledge of this whole field and how it's so patterns and it's such almost almost just like the genuine that unless you have a tremendous knowledge of God's word, your tendency will be to flip the other way. Because there is more teaching in the spiritualist field and there is on the accuracy of the word all over the nation. Everything I'm going to teach you tonight, I have seen counterfeited not only do I see it in the word but I've seen it in experience. How there's a lot of differences. Because once a man has experienced something in other words, once lowest you have spoken in tongues and interpret it, it's awful hard to convince you that you've never spoken something certainly you know why because of experience right? But put it on the negative side. Now, once they have had experience once they have seen in manifestation and ectoplasm form their relative. It's hard to talk them out of their experience to write so it works both positive and negative experientially you understand why. Sure. This is why MacNab experience usually leaves me cold. I think you and I flashed over that one stone in the house almost kicked out. They still let him in the advanced class. Don't ever get worried if I keep hovering right back. That's right. The college experience. Mrs. Matthews doesn't mean very much to me. And you know why? Because of my knowledge of the spiritualist field, that's why they called you talk about experience they got a dozen to your one most of you, Christian. They have a dozen experiences tremendous experience to the average Christians. Why you know why I say that? Because many people have been Christians 20 3040 years have never had an answer to prayer that they really know that God has the right. And I can show you spiritualist have been in six months, and they have had 50 demonstrations of the Spirit in the state. Right. You see, this field that we're going into is the greatest field to understand today. And yet there's the the least amount of knowledge available in this field. This is why this is always a rough field it started because I've got to take you all the way through, we start from scratch and we go into post post post grad on the thing, that cause this is the field you have to understand if you're really want to walk if you really want to walk and experience does not count with me basically. Why? Because here is our rule of faith and practice. The Word of God is our rule of faith and practice. This word of God is God's wheel. And I can't go by experience. First and foremost, I have to go by luck. Now if my experience fits in with the Word of God, it's luck. Okay, but if my experience doesn't fit with a word, the word still stand my experience go to dog. Right. That's why you see you've got to learn first of all, that there's just as much experience on the negative side address on the positives.

Don't you don't have to say if you pinned him down in here tonight. He said Good god Where will you call me a believer in spiritual ism. I don't believe that at all. I believe in the true God. Therefore, experience is not the criteria on which you can build. You're not asked to be deeper than that knowledge has to be built upon the accuracy of God's word and the right dividing of it is the book of Ephesians chapter four. Here's where we begin. That was just the introduction. I like you. Here it says in the church. Verse 11. You all know that verse 11, is a carryover of verse eight. Wherefore reverse eight he said, when he that is Jesus Christ, ascended upon high he led one. And he gave what gifts unto what man? Now verse 11. He gave somewhat apostles and somewhat and somewhat and somewhat and somewhat right he gave to the church, the gift ministries, gifts, their gifts, he gave these as gifts. Speaking in tongues is not a gift. interpretation of tongues is not a gift. I just happen to pick up a magazine Rhoda has laying on her desk back there and they had a little note on please send this fellow some info, beaming information. And I read the just briefly read it just before I walked in at seven o'clock, where he said that speaking in tongues was a gift interpretation was a gift prophecy was a gift. And furthermore, he says that speaking in tongues was not nearly worth what prophecy was because he would rather speak 10,000 words in his church than ever to speak in tongues.

First of all, they're not gifts. These are the gifts these are the gifts. It says so he gave what gifts charismata gifts of grace this way down not of works lest any man should boast. He gave gifts. And these gifts are apostles, prophets, evangelists, teachers and pastors. All right. Now he's going to have these five ministries here on kill verse 13. When we rightly divide the Word and we have the word of God, we're on God's side, when we wrongly divided, or are off even one iota on the word we're on Satan side, because there are only two powers in this world. Why is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the other god is Satan. Satan is the god of this world. He's the prince of this one. The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ is the other god. A prophet, according to the Word of God is a man who speaks to God's people, and he called God's people back. Not a spiritualist speaks to His people. And he calls him back he says, No, don't do drop that whole country. You stay back here because if you do demonstrate, it's gonna teach you all of this, you know what a teacher is? Well, they teach. You know what an evangelist is the evangelist. You know what a pastor is, they pastor, everything in the other kingdom in the other category. The kingdom of Satan is an absolute counterfeit of that which is true. And Ephesians six verse 1110, verse 10, finally by Brother, be strong in one and in the power of his the Lord's work. Wherefore, verse 11, put on put on, put on anything you can put on is in what category works or great works Put on the whole armor of up Amen. It doesn't say pray about it. It says, Put her on. Get on, get loaded. Show her pull on the whole armor of God. Reason being that she may be able to defend your theology and build a new denomination. Know that she may be able to stand against what Okay, now I didn't write the word if we don't like it. Tell God. Verse 12. For we we wrestle you speaking here to the brother in the barn again, sons of God in verse 11. That's why I know what I'm talking about. For a week, born again sons of God, Christian believers, we wrestle not against one All right, if we don't wrestle against flesh and blood than we don't wrestle against flesh and blood, then our fight is not against flesh and blood. Our fight is not with Herman Bullock or Johnny jump up or snowball Peter McAdoo muggins. No up. Your fight is not with the PvP fight is never with you. It is always that we are either for God, and God is with us. And we're right. Or we're on the other side of the fence working for Satan.

But when we are off, we will be wrestling. Then where we're all we are flesh and blood. No, we're not wrestling with that flesh and blood where they're all but we're wrestling against one principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this one. And they're all spiritual, against spiritual wickedness in high places or on high. The literal reading here is against spiritual wickedness from high meaning from Satan, spiritual wickedness that comes from Satan, because Satan men, his whole body is organized to do this very thing. Verse 13, Wherefore take unto you you take unto you the whole armor of God, that he may be able to withstand in the evil day and having done all due up, stand up. Don't push, don't jump, don't get scared. That's right. Remember the other nights D or someone brought up here that some of the people were told they had to resist the devil. But in the church, you're never told to resist the devil, you're told to do a lot. Give no place to eat. Because he's not there. You don't have to resist him. He's not around there. So you don't have to resist it, but not there. Just don't give him any room. Give him no place. Because until you give him place. There is no resistance possible. It's only after he is there that you can resist. And he has no place in you as Christians. That's why this subject we're going into in this advanced class should be the most thrilling, the most dynamic, the most vital thing you've ever heard, because this is the kind of thing that will equip you, equipped you. And having done all having this armor on and having done all it will one thing what Stan, you don't give a hoot hailstorm what Satan says and all these out. If you know the Word of God, and have this wonderful word of God, You do one thing and that is Step. If your husband doesn't agree, stand if your wife doesn't agree, you still stand for nothing. Nothing is beyond the Word of God and the Word of God is beyond all. That's why he said his Word of God above his name. As the Scripture says in the book, some Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to withstand in the evening, evil day and having done all stand to stand. Stand there for verse 14. Having your lines good about with truth and having on the breastplate about your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. Above all, above all, take the shield of believing they were was he shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. Verse 17. And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God at something. There are five ministries in the body. And there are nine manifestations in every born again believer, the five ministries in the body, keep the body build up the nine manifestations. Keep you walking with the armor on manifesting and bring victory in your individual life and bring edification, exhortation and comfort in the body of believers. And we wrestle not against flesh and blood. Never, never. There is no wrestling against flesh and blood in this world. It just looks like it never is. When you really understand the word rightly divided. It's always a battle between God's kingdom and Satan. And of course tomorrow night I'll lay these kingdoms wide open and I've drawn for you on the blackboard here and show you how they operate but tonight to get this They go on a road, just some of these foundational things that you need to know and understand that these five ministries are all counterfeit counterfeit, in a spiritualist field, that's a nine manifestations are all endeavored to be counterfeited, and they're all specifically counterfeited, uniquely counterfeited, except one, and that's speaking in tongues. Every other one is just counterfeited down to the T, right down to the minutus detail.

That's why you could take the average person that sat through my foundational classes for time and take them into a spiritualist meeting. And if they heard a person prophesy, they nine times out of 10 sit there and say amen to it. They still wouldn't know. That's right. I'd like to prove it to some of you I wouldn't have to I gave you an exam last week. Oh, they cause boy you see this genuine is so much like the the counterfeit is so much like the genuine, that you really have to study the genuine to be able to spot the counterfeit. But someplace in there, if I recall correctly, it tells about how he got into the spiritualist field. And that he was either walking or standing or praying or doing something and he saw himself standing in front of himself. It's in there. I know. Right? All right. There's the counterfeit of this thing. And we'll see a lot more of them. We'll see how in ectoplasm form they produce grandma she's been dead for 10 years, five years, but usually by the time they're dead 10 years we forgotten about grandma we're not so interested get your back but all this real stuff you know the people are really interested in getting to talk to their relatives and their loved one or not those who have been dead 10 or 15 years but if you lose one tonight of all tomorrow you're interested in this kind of all you warriors and for the first six months or a year after that, you see and the spiritual is say say to them we know where your people are we can put you in contact the Church says to them yeah we know there are there up there in glory land eaten cookies, but we have no connection what the church thinks the Word of God says they're dead and the dead know nothing. You're not up in heaven you're dead bodies you see if you get them up in heaven where the church is God then Spiritualism is right and now what about all around because if you're up there all you have to bring back how the church has dropped ever they can't get anything back the spiritually

But Major I can tell you there's nothing that I can't teach you in this field by the grace of God if I just take time, because I've been through the whole gambled in and out backwards, forwards upside down. And because of the knowledge of the word thing, these things. Here was the Apostle Paul and all at once he had a lot of patience. This I know is genuine. that I know is genuine. Why? Because I believe God's word is what God's will. But if you went by experience, then the moment I see the ectoplasm farm of John Bosco friends, then I would say he also is genuine, right? They reproduce men and women they say it's men and women. It isn't this devil spirits taking on forms. I teach you all this pack. Yeah, be interesting. But that devil spirit, Mrs. Poli will look exactly like let's say you had a sister. And that sister had died. They'd reproduce that in ectoplasm form where certain parts of her body would be visible to you. And you'd spot and see what that's my signature looks just how do you like that for a counterfeit? And then you sit there when I say speaking tongues I don't I can't do it my knees Oh, you see why when we get the advanced class that I know you have to have men and women who have got some guts some bold the devil spirits produce these what are you producing? Came speaking Tom scared to death a lot the neighbors think, Huh? Boy, that is? You said it boy. That's why That's why knowing this field you see I get older, I get hurt because man Allah to something. If Jesus is all renewed and they think you're working for the wrong, you're believing in the wrong word. You want to get out of the business and work for the other side. Let me see this visible I want to see the manifestation because then you can speak in tongues, you can interpret the prophesy, but I told the class the other night. A couple of weeks ago somebody said they didn't know they didn't want to bring any people here reading on Sunday night. Because they'd like to but they were afraid that the people might be offended if we spoke in tongues and interpreted her prophesied it we're going to spiritually meaning I hope you have anybody to have are they afraid? But I know one thing that Christ in me is greater than he that's in the world. Verse 10, Assuredly gathering that the Lord had called us for to preach the gospel unto them at something. Before this, the Lord told them what not to go. And when the Lord told them not to go, what to do? Didn't go now the Lord says go and do up. In other words, they got their commission by operating Revelation where the knowledge and when we get our calls from the different churches as to lack of ministers we're out of a minister we got to have one so to give us a call, and the call is frequently depend on on how much can you pay and what are the benefits
