Victor Paul Wierwille was a Bible scholar and teacher for over four decades.

By means of Dr. Wierwille's dynamic teaching of the accuracy and integrity of God's Word, foundational class and advanced class graduates of Power for Abundant Living have learned that the one great requirement for every student of the Bible is to rightly divide the Word of Truth. Thus, his presentation of the Word of God was designed for students who desire the in-depth-accuracy of God’s Word.

In his many years of research, Dr. Wierwille studied with such men as Karl Barth, E. Stanley Jones, Glenn Clark, Bishop K.C. Pillai, and George M. Lamsa. His formal training included Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Theology degrees from Mission House (Lakeland) College and Seminary. He studied at the University of Chicago and at Princeton Theological Seminary from which he received a Master of Theology degree in Practical Theology. Later he completed his work for the Doctor of Theology degree.

Dr. Wierwille taught the first class on Power for Abundant Living in 1953.

Books by Dr. Wierwille include: Are the Dead Alive Now? published in 1971; Receiving the Holy Spirit Today published in 1972; five volumes of Studies in Abundant Living— The Bible Tells Me So (1971), The New, Dynamic Church (1971), The Word's Way (1971), God's Magnified Word (1977), Order My Steps in Thy Word (1985); Jesus Christ Is Not God (1975); Jesus Christ Our Passover (1980); and Jesus Christ Our Promised Seed (1982).

Dr. Wierwille researched God's Word, taught, wrote, and traveled worldwide, holding forth the accuracy of God's "wonderful, matchless" Word.

00:00

I should set before our people. The greatness of this revelation that is set here in First Corinthians chapter 12, beginning with the 28th verse. And my primary. One of the primary reasons for doing this is because I know of the greatness of this word of God as it centers in the lives and the teaching of men and women who have ministries in the body. And since our friend, Dr. J. S. Williams, this will be his last Sunday night here to sit under the teaching ministry, cause next Sunday night, he will be sharing the thoughts he has with us. I thought that perhaps this would be an opportunity as I would teach to all of our people that he too, could have the opportunity this Sunday night, to see the greatness of these ministries, which we've talked about all summer, in the foundational class in the advanced class, but never in the way in which I want to set them before you tonight. My primary reason in setting this before you tonight will be for you to be able to understand one chapter of the book of the Bible, which very few people understand. And that is the 13th chapter of Romans don't look at it. But that's the one I'm after. Because there's very there are very, very few people who have ever rightly divided the 13th chapter of the book of Romans. And all of this teaching regarding the ministries in the body of Christ, are related to that 13th Chapter. But we'll begin with this 12th Chapter of First Corinthians and the 28th verse. May I remind you, however, that in the first chapter, and in the second verse of the first chapter of First Corinthians, it says that this epistle is directed unto the church of God, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place, call upon the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, both theirs and ours, then, the book of Corinthians is addressed to us. It is addressed to the born again believers, the Christians. And this must constantly be remembered, if you want to understand and rightly divide, the record that is given in the book of Corinthians. Now here in the 12th chapter, in the 27th, verse we read, now D are the body of Christ, the Church, the Church is the Body of Christ. The church is not the Bride of Christ. The church is what the body, the church of the Gospels addressed to Israel, Israel was the bride. Jesus Christ was the bride broke. But since the day of Pentecost, it is not a bride and bridegroom, since the day of Pentecost, it is Christ were in you, the hope of Christ in you, and those in whom Christ dwells, they make up the body, now, Ye are the church, the body, the born again, believers, they are the body of Christ, and every person in that body is a member in one particular, every person in that body has a particular spot, a particular place, a place that when you fill that place, with the greatest of your God given ability, your spiritual life will be totally full, and your contribution to the body of Christ will be absolutely wonderful and complete. And a person in the body of Christ has the same rewards, whether he is a minister, as an apostle, or whether he is ministering helps, or governments or other facets of operation within the body. Please remember that because those of us who teach have no greater reward than those who minister in helps or governments or any other way. Those of us who teach the Bible says have a greater responsibility, but not a greater reward. Now you are the body of Christ, and every person has a particular spot in that body. Now, we change here to verse 28.

04:58

But God has Set some in the church. God has set some in the church. That's tremendous. If God sets it, then it's set. What man dare change what God has set. And here it says very plainly that God did the setting. God placed it, God put it like he wanted it. Then you and I should acclimatized ourselves to the program that he has set, right? Surely, God has set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly, teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues. And this is what that verse says.

06:08

Well, verses 28, all the way through 2930, so forth, are an expression of the truth, that every part every believer, has a specific ministry to perform. But without the whole, without the whole body. All the manifestations of the Spirit will not function efficaciously. It has been the critical unbelievers who have utilized this verse 28. Saying that speaking in tongues is the least important, because God put it last in that verse. You know how I feel about that? I always like to have the critics to say that to me. And I always pray that they are the youngest in the family of 10. Because then I can say to them, if it's last, and it's least important, then you are. They don't like that. Something? Well, if they wanted to criticize it said, God put it last because it's least important, then by the same logic, other things that are least important will be one last. Many times the opposite is just true. Even in letters, which you write today, you many times will say this is the last. But let me remind you, it's not the least important. Right. And there's another thing, something has to be last. If you have two things to choose from one of those two has to be last. If you have only one, it's first and last. But if you have three things, or four, or five or six, something has to be last. Because only one thing can be one first. But you see, not understanding the Word of God or caring to understand it, to make it fit with the word and to make a gel, we're always looking for a way whereby we can discount the Word of God. Why not just come and let the word be the word and let this word dwell within us. And let us endeavor to understand what's written, it said, God place What if God placed them, then we have to find out why he placed them where he placed them highly placed them and the purpose of his placing of them, he must have a reason for what he did. I believe that this verse needs a much more honest survey and looking into than just a haphazard, casual looking at because these verses from 28 odd, are full of truth and instruction for those who really care to learn. I'll give you a free translation, literally, of verse 28. And then we'll go on from there. According to usage, verse 28, translated literally, from the Greek text is as follows. So God has placed some in the church. God has placed some in the church, that's the word set. He placed them in the church. God has placed some in the church, having the ministry of apostles, prophets and teachers, period. There are some who minister more effectively as miracle workers some who have very effective ministry, the boy Things of healing. Some who are very adept, a D PT, adept, versatile, would that be a good synonym for adept, very adept, best thing I can think of along the line of ministry as helps and governments, and some whose ministry is diversity of tongues. Now that is a free translation according to usage of this tremendous 28th Verse. Because apostles, prophets and teachers, those are gift ministries, but miracles, healings, diversities of tongues, those are manifestations of the gifts and helps governments are ministries in the body of the church, to make this whole body fit like a hand in a glove to make it work, so that every joint will supply what it's supposed to supply. It's a tremendous verse.

11:23

The Greek word for diversities in this 28th Verse, is the word GAOs, je E, N, O S. binning, genus, G and us. These people do not have a so called species of tongues.

11:46

But their genus is tops in bringing forth different kinds of tongues. Each individual believer has all nine operations of the manifestations of the Spirit. But the believer is believing shines in tongues, and other one is believing shines in bringing a word of prophecy. And other persons believing shines and being able to have a genius of the word of knowledge where the wisdom is learning spirits, is how it operates in the body of believers.

12:32

If he is a help, see that word helps in 28 If he's a help in the body, he uses or she uses all nine manifestations of the Spirit. So as to minister helps in the highest and the best way possible. I want to show you some of these things and draw them here on the blackboard for you. So that you really be able to understand this subject tonight and work it through in your mind this week. So that you have an opportunity to fully comprehend the greatness of some of these tremendous truths. The word gifts in 28. Gifts of hearing the word gifts there is the word charismata. I'm going to write this on the board in a minute. Also in verse 30. The same word, gifts charismata ch AR is am What I miss is something not spelled right. Look in the Bible that's I guess I didn't. Ma Te ch AR is Ma Te cat is Mata. The word charismata means grace. A charisma is a grace. Gifts, gifts. Gifts from God are always of grace. Is Salvation a gift class? Do we earn it then it is about grace. That's what he Fijian says. Not of works lest any man should want boast. Now the word charisma or charismata the MATA is plural. That's why it's gifts. Makes it plural. All of God's gifts are charismata. They are always upgrades every place in the Bible plus, and they are always perpendicular from God to man From God command they're always this way down. perpendicular from God demand. That's why they're charismata their gifts of God's grace. When these gifts when the gifts become in operation on an horizontal plane this way, from man to man, the word gifts becomes the word Dora RIA Daria, D O R. E A. Daria is also translated, translated gifts in the Bible. my.ca is named after this. Dr. Dorothea Dorothy Amin's gift of God. They are God dharia gift. The Bible word darkness comes from this. You see, God gives us gifts this way down in a in a vertical way or perpendicular God gives us the gift. Now when we utilize when we the body of Christ operate, manifest, then these gifts of grace become gifts of Daria Daria on an horizontal or a vertical plane, man to man understand the Latins the Romans in Latin translated this one. Beneficium; beneficium  from which we get the English word benefits. That's right. The gifts on and horizontal level are always benefits to God's people spend a wonderful knowledge here in these few verses. Trim tremendous. Here in verse 28. You have set some of them have the gifts of the Spirit.

17:20

The you know the gifts of the Ministries of God for the Spirit, you have the the gift of salvation included because of the operation of the manifestations. But all of these things like helps governments, diversities of tongues. All of these are wrapped up in that gift which God gives to us as believers, which is a charismata a gift of grace. It becomes a benefit. A direct keum Adoree are of benefit to them. It becomes a benefit to man as a gift when you and I believe God's word and we carry it out. You see? A man could have the gift Ministry of an apostle or prophet or a teacher. What does he do you until that gift becomes a word. Or Dorea, a benefit to god-speed for a person as the ministry of teaching the Word of God. But instead of teaching the way to God, he just sits and hatches, then it will not be a benefit to anybody. It becomes a benefit to mankind when God who gives the gifts by charismata gifts of grace, men carry out is salvation a gift. It only becomes a benefit to your neighbor when you carry out what you got when you got saved right. And there are a lot of people who are saved. You'd never know it. They never carry any Dorea any benefits they never carry it this way on an horizontal plane you never talked about it. Then what good is the charismata to them? Only because it's upgrade. Likewise with the men who and women who would have ministries of apostles, prophets, evangelists, teachers or pastors. What good would it be unless they carry them forward as benefits? Would they still have them? Would it still be there? Remember the old profit it gone out operation read it to you in the advanced class. It been in operation, but he went on operation. So God sent another property young prophet over to the place to carry on the job. And yet, at that very moment, the old prophet got to believe in God and he got revelation again. What was the matter with that old prophet? He was a man called a god, but he was out operation, he was no benefit. He wasn't giving any of God's benefits to God's faithful. Here in First Corinthians chapter 12, in that 28 volts is God's order for ministering in the church age in which you and I are living. There is no passage of scripture in the bible which nullifies that verse. As a matter of fact, the Ephesians chapter four augments it. And this is where we're going Ephesians chapter four

21:09

you see the charismata gifts of God's grace. And therefore, if they're gifts of God's grace, they are always spiritual abilities. They're always spiritual abilities. All of God's gifts are spiritual abilities. They are gifts of God's grace, and therefore being spiritual abilities. They become a benefit to God's people when you and I use them. Now here in Ephesians, we have the same truth that God set forth in the 28th verse of Corinthians Ephesians, chapter four, verse eight. Wherefore he said, When He ascended upon high, talking about the ascension of the Lord Jesus Christ, He Jesus Christ led captivity captive, and He gave gifts under what? Men, Ben. And he gave some verse 10, isn't it? It gave some lot, apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers, those verses 910. Now that he ascended, you see there in a parentheses, parentheses marking around them. The parentheses is a figure of speech. By way of explanation, you must read from eight on to 11 to get the impact of what he said. He loved lead captivity captive, and He gave gifts under luck, man, when at Pentecost, after he had ascended, he ascended He led captivity captive, and then he gave gifts on demand on the day of Pentecost and after. And how many gifts did he give? Five apostles, prophets is 11 Vangelis, pastors and teachers. These are the gift ministries to the body, the body of believers, no you not that you're the body of Christ and members in particular, now we're talking about the ministry, the gift ministry to the body, the body of believers, the ministries of apostles, prophets, evangelists, teachers and pastors. These aren't Karis, MCDA, gifts of God's grace this way down. These are for the perfecting. Verse 12, perfecting of the saints. Can we perfect the saints spiritually? No. Therefore, these ministries are not for the perfecting of the saints spiritually, when you're born again a God spiritually spiritually perfect as you'll ever be. But these are for the perfecting of the saints in their believing in their walk in their being members in particular in the body. That's what it's perfecting, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying, the building up of the body of God. Now, the next verse tells you for how long these five gift ministries to the church will be here, until or till we all come in the unity of the faith by the ecumenical move. Not sorry, can't get the Ecumenical Movement in here. So the minister Trees are going to be here until we all come in the unity of the faith. And nobody's ever really going to get in that unity all the way round until they get up again, or are changed. Because you can't even get 10 people together now and stay put long enough. It's going to take the return of Christ, with a new body fashioned like under His glorious body, and a lot of other things to get to the unity. Here we all come into unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God unto a perfect man. Are you a perfect man now? No, but you will be the word man here is not nothing to do with sex, it's mankind. Woman cluded. So, until God comes in Christ Jesus, the dead are raised diodes that our lives are changed. That's the perfect man, unto the major of that stature of the fullness of us. So, if we have pastors today, in the body of the church, if we've got pastors, we must also have teacher someplace. We must also have evangelists someplace, right? How come we can have three and our have the other two? The same verses scripture that says there are pastors, evangelists, teachers, also says that there are apostles, and therefore, if you let out apostles and prophets, you're going to have to let out evangelists, teachers and past budgets in that same version script. I didn't write the book. It said God set the lawyer in the current. Now if I say there are no Laurie apostles, somebody is alive. It's either God or VP Wierwille. Any question about that one? Not on my mind, there is. But I've ever said the word any apostles. I'm telling you there are. I'm simply trying to show you that people have really done harm to the Word of God. When they say, Well, this is Pastor so and so it's pastor so and so one denomination I know says they don't want their preachers called anything but pastor. I don't care if they call him snowshoe Pete. If he is called of God, and he's an apostle, then he's not a lot has not tried. People it's back to the integrity of God's word, and elbow cup. If we've got evangelists, teachers and pastors, we've got to have apostles and Rod it's in the same verse of scripture. And what man dinner let out when God put it in, like to turn it around what man they're put in something that if God led out it's like at that wedding ceremony, you know, you give, they say, whom God has joined together, let no man put asunder. You ever figured the other side of that if God didn't put them together? What man's supposed keeping together some I don't know how you can put that. Over here in verse in this verse, what verse was I? Eight 910 11 1414. But in verse 11, it says that he gave apostles, prophets, evangelists to five gifts of God charismata ministries to the church. And these five are all here, until we come into unity of the faith, until the perfect man unto the major, the stature of the fullness of Christ. Then in the next verse, it tells you, why the reason for the perfecting that we henceforth be all kinds of children know, these ministries are given to the body that we no longer be children, babies, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, you know, or the sleight of men and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive. Why? You know why? Because first Corinthians chapter four, I believe it was we read it this morning among some of us. It talks about handling the word of God deceitfully. It is possible to handle the Word of God deceitfully. And you know what it is to handle the Word of God deceitfully is to go to the word of God and try to find that word of God which agrees with your theology or your belief that's handling at DC to go to the Word of God to get it to substantiate, to corroborate what you already believe. Never even if you're right, you don't go to the Word of God like that. You go to the Word of God and let the word of God speak. And you and I bring our lives into alignment and harmony with what the Word says. But speaking, the truth in love, we may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ, who is the head. At squat, it says that's what is from whom the whole BODY fitly joined together. And compacted. Compacted is tightly knit, squeezed in place, by that which every joint supplier according to the effect, you're working to the according to the effective working in the measure of every part. Suppose one part does not effectively measure F. Then what about the rest of the body? It doesn't necessarily fall apart, but it sure gets off a week. It sure gets off a week. Because if you're off at one place that will weaken the body, physically, you know this. Now God sets this here in His Word, to teach us a great spiritual truth that everybody every joint is to effectively operate in is the measure of every part. And this will make increase of the body unto the edification the building up of itself in love. This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that she henceforth left notice other Gentiles walk in the vanity of their mind, having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them because of the blindness of their heart. That's in verse eight. The word gifts is the word Daria. Wherefore he says when He ascended up on high, He led captivity captive and gave... Why is it called Berea here because these gifts Ministries as carries Mata when they are operated, because he said, the the reason for the henceforth be no more children tossed to and fro he's talking here about these charismata carried out as benefits to mankind. You see, the charismata. Two are for the church are as benefits. And they were perfect the saints in Romans chapter 12.

33:45

You have the same truth set forth in verse four and following Romans 12 Four, four as we have many members in one body, exactly what we've been talking about in Ephesians. A moment ago.

34:12

And all members have not the same office. The same function, word offices the word function. So we verse five, being many are one body in Christ and everyone members one of another reason rather members one another because we're members in particular fitly joined together by that which every joint supply verse six, having been gifts, differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according To the proportion of faith or in ministry, let us wait on our ministry, or he that teaches on teaching. Verse eight, or he that exhorted on exhortation he that given let him do it with simplicity. He's that ruler. Can you remember that word? He's that ruler. with diligence. He's not showing mercy with cheerfulness. These verses from Romans here are the same charismata spiritual abilities given to God by man becoming Daria ministries in the church as the believers operate them. Here in Romans chapter 12, from verse four on it gives the operator and the possessor specific instructions, not only as to the ministries and their operations, but also as to the conduct of his own life, in the carrying out of these ministries in the body. In verse four of this 12 chapter of Romans, the word office is the word function means naturally office or function on an horizontal level. All members in the body do not have the same function. Just like not everybody is a farmer, not everybody is a school teacher, not everybody's a factory worker. So not in the body of Christ, not everybody has the same function. This verse six, according to you, Sage has a tremendous translation. Having them carries martyrs spiritual abilities, function functions in the body, the church, differing according to the divine favor, or friendly willingness of God that is given to us. Whether in ministry of prophecy, keep busy manifesting by prophesying according to the proportion of your believing faith. That's a literal translation according to usage of that six verse. It's just tremendous. See our spiritual abilities, these charismata differ according to the friendly favor or divine willingness of God. Why? Because we read from Ephesians that these are charismata this way down from God demand, it is God who gives the apostles prophets, evangelists, teachers and parent pastors. He calls them verse seven, literal translation of this tremendous verse. Or if you have another type of ministry. Get busy ministry. King James basically says the same thing. In King James, he says our ministry Let us wait on our ministry to wait on the ministry is not to sit it out. But it's like we say people, he waited on tables. That doesn't mean he sat out. I mean, he was busy serving. So verse seven. If you have another type of ministry, get busy ministry. That's what it said.

38:55

Or if you have the ministry of teaching, get busy teaching verse eight first part, or if you have an exhortation ministry, get busy exhorting. Now, verse eight, should begin with the following words. He's not given for in any ministry in the church. Let him do it with simplicity. He that has a ruling ministry. Let him do it with diligence. And he that has a ministry making him very adept in mercy. Let him do it with cheerfulness, you're perfectly this fits all of the instructions. Following these verses are all On behavior, pattern and conduct of men and women in the body of Christ as to how they are to carry out these benefits among God's people. That brings me to this great 13th chapter of Romans.

40:28

Let every subject every person, every individual, word subject, that's soul I mean the word soul not subject. The word soul is the person, the individual, Let every soul every individual,

40:53

be subject unto the higher powers. Why have I brought you along so far to teach you, Corinthians 12 Ephesians, four, Romans 12, because this puts the whole word of God together tonight, on the ruling ministries. In the church. There are five ruling ministries, they are apostles, prophets, evangelists, teachers, or pastors, these five are given for the perfecting of the church, for the building up for the edifying of the Body of Christ, that we no longer be children tossed to and fro, but that we may know the score. And here in the 13th chapter, which follows immediately upon the greatness of these verses, from four to eight, that I just explained to you in the 12th chapter of Romans. He now says, Let every soul every subject, every soul be subject unto the higher powers. They have been purported this to me, the higher powers in government. This is not true. Not in secular government. This is government of the body of the church. He's talking about, he is not talking about the United States Senate, or the House of Representatives. He is not talking about the President of the United States, or the Supreme Court. The Word of God here is talking about the body of believers in relationship to the higher powers in that body. Where every soul, every person, be subject unto the higher powers, the higher powers are those charismata with God has set in the church to edify and build up the church, namely apostles, prophets, evangelists, teachers, and pastors. That's what he's talking about. Where there is no power, but of who that tried it, they have these powers that got them from WHO? God the powers that be are ordained of God. And you could never say that about worldly powers. Good. Why, goodness, no, but they have, they have said the, the worldly powers are ordained of God. That's not what and they quote the Scripture that's not at all what you what's going on. It's not around what's going on here.

43:47

This is talking about the church. The power is inside of the church. By the way, if I remember correctly, the words powers is the word authority.

44:01

I know it's the word authority in verse three, we're going to get to that. I think it is here to see those that are given authority over the body. These are ordained of God apostles, prophets, evangelists, teachers and past. Whosoever, verse two, Whosoever therefore resisted the power, the authority which God has said in the church, resisted the ordinance of hope, and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. The word damnation is judgment. And the word judgment is not the word beyma. It is the word crema K ri Ma. What it is, verse three, for rulers, the rulers in the church of apostles, prophets, evangelists, teachers, and screws are not a terror, to good good works, but to evil that's what they're in the church for. We'll tell them not be afraid of the authority. The power, the word afraid is have respect, reverence for that power, do that which is good. And thou shalt have praise of the same. For he is the minister of God. There it is as plain as day again. He's not the minister in a secular government. But these men have apostles, prophets, evangelists, teachers and pastors, they are ministers of God. To bring the benefits of Banta God's people to the for good. But if thou do that, which is evil, be afraid for a birth NASA soared in May. They have said this means shotguns, Army rifles, tanks, boats, no whatsoever does the man of God carry the Word? The Word of God is a sword. It's the word of God. It says that sharper than any two edged sword, right? And the man of God, call of God as an apostle, prophet, evangelist, teacher or pastor. If he is really called a god and carrying out God's Word, He will carry the third which is the word of God. That's all. He brings the Word. He carries the word he shares the word for he is a minister of God, a remain a revenger to execute wrath upon him that do with evil. I read him blurred by reading him and teaching him the word by showing him the word and saying to that man, does that. Right? Larry spine Wherefore he must needs be subject to these men of God with ministries, not for wrath. But first compensate for for this cause. Pay you tribute. You give gifts also. The reason you give gifts is because they are God's word. Ministers. Bless God, if you give it any other placement, whether it's God's ministers, you're held accountable for it too. So mine just because a man says he went to college for four years and three years of seminary does it make him an apostle, prophet, evangelist, teacher or past. But if he's called of God, and then goes to college and seminary, they don't get talked out of it. By that time, he can still bring forth this manifest station of the ministry. But there are a lot of people scattered across this world down through the years who never attended college and seminary, and yet they were called of God and spoke the word of God. They are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing. The Word of God rendered there for it to all their dues. Tribute. Tribute is due is he talking about a secular government? Now he's talking about the government in the body of the church. Custom to whom customers do fear to whom fear is due. This is reverence, honor, to whom honor and inside of this body, oh, no man, anything. In other words, For this cause, pay tribute, their gods ministries, whose customers and we do not owe to God's man, anything. If you want to throw anybody over to government that's a laugh. They take it before you have a chance to owe it. All your doctor got that and figure it out to open growth. But never Oh, God. You can't pay God for God His Spirit. But God's man apostles, prophets, evangelists, teachers and pastors who are benefits diary are to the church, the body. They are to be respected, they're to be done and treated this way.

and you're not to owe anything there. Anybody else but don't owe anything. That's why, you know, terrible thing. To think that more people are afraid of the government, they are God Almighty. But they are really, really hard.

But that's their responsibility. I haven't anything, all I'm responsible for is how I handle the word, what I do with it here. And people to me, that's a tremendous word. Oh, no man anything, but to love one another. For he that love it, and other has fulfilled the law, the love the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus, which is the new law, we have fulfilled, when we love one another. And if you really love one another, you carry out the accuracy of the word. That's what this 13th chapter is all about. It's talking about the rulers that God has set in the church, as apostles, prophets, evangelists, teachers, orphans, and the manifestations of the Spirit, which make it possible for every person in the body. Even though they do not have a ruling ministry. They still have a particular specific job in the body. And they carry out that specific spot in the body, by the operation of the manifestations of the Spirit, even if they are helps, or governments or if they have the genius of speaking in tongues, or giving a word of prophecy like we heard tonight. These we carry out as a power God that's in us as a gift of God. Is that wonderful? This sets the greatness of First Corinthians 12 Ephesians, four, Romans 12 and 13 and make them fit like a hand in a glove and work accurately all the way through.
