Victor Paul Wierwille was a Bible scholar and teacher for over four decades.
By means of Dr. Wierwille's dynamic teaching of the accuracy and integrity of God's Word, foundational class and advanced class graduates of Power for Abundant Living have learned that the one great requirement for every student of the Bible is to rightly divide the Word of Truth. In his many years of research, Dr. Wierwille studied with such men as Karl Barth, E. Stanley Jones, Glenn Clark, Bishop K.C. Pillai, and George M. Lamsa. His formal training included Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Theology degrees from Mission House (Lakeland) College and Seminary. He studied at the University of Chicago and at Princeton Theological Seminary from which he received a Master of Theology degree in Practical Theology. Later he completed his work for the Doctor of Theology degree.
Dr. Wierwille taught the first class on Power for Abundant Living in 1953.

Take your Bible tonight and turn to Mark chapter 16. And turning to the Gospel of Mark, he wanted this air conditioning rolling around here. Thanks to the Gospel of Mark. And we're going to be into some tremendous truths that I thought would be a blessing to the hearts in the lives of not only our people who are just finished the class on power for abundant living, but for all the rest of us who are sincerely concerned about the greatness of God's Word and how to walk on it. I have taught you these couple of weeks, some of the things from God's word that really gel and make life fit and work. One of the great truths in the Bible is that a man until he is born again, is dead in trespasses and sins without God and without hope. He has no eternal life, abiding with it. Therefore, when he is born again, God has to create his spirit within that man. But having been, let's say, 25 years of age before he accepted the Lord Jesus Christ, be having been that age, he had 25 years of building knowledge into his mind. And the mind of man in the Bible is called the old man. Now, when he's born again of God's Spirit, he has a new creation in here, in it within the inner man, but he still has the same mind he had the power. Now, the key to power is the renewing of the mind, to put on them in the mind, what God in His Word says, is in us spiritually. And tonight, we want to deal with the renewing of the mind for a little while. No person will ever go further in the walk with God, than the the manner in which and the degree to which he renews his mind, to the end that we put on the mind of Christ. Let this mind live in us which was in Christ Jesus. To that end, will we will, therefore the key to power is the renewed mind. In Mark chapter, chapter 16, did I say 50 Chapter 60. We want to handle a verse of Scripture very familiar to many of you. Chapter 16, verses 17. And these signs shall be one, follow them that they will be the signs, follow them that believe this was a tremendous revelation to my soul a number of years ago, that signs do not follow ministries of people necessarily, that signs do not follow just because you're hoping for signs follow them that do what Billy signs follow upon believing has nothing to do with whether a man has a ministry or not. has everything to do with believing signs follow believing, most people would like to see signs first right? Then they will would be willing to do us believe that the world teaches just the opposite. You believe first, like Robert Wade from Perth, Australia testified tonight, that one of the greatest thrills in his heart was Thursday night. Well, it's Thursday night thrilled you, you should have been in some of the other classes. I've thought I don't know what happened to you then. Because we have almost had 100% men and women receiving in every class. And I think they're only maybe two or three Thursday night what you're talking about. But that's failure for me. I don't go by failure. They can't borrow. We can only live when God's word lives. And there's no reason why people shouldn't be receiving 100% Because God's 100% God and His words 100% word about joy. Therefore, any time when people do not receive the greatness of God's word, it always hurts me on the inside. I'm beat on nothing because there's nothing to me that is so important as God's word. And people that are hungry and sick, should be manifesting the greatness of God's Word. And these signs follow those that believe you have to believe then the signs come it just like a tail following a dog. No matter how you like it or not the tails coming after the dog. You can't get the tail first and then the dog. You got to believe first and as you believe, then the signs come to pass. That's how you got saved. You believed on the Lord Jesus Christ, God raised Him from the dead and then God did was saved he didn't save your first And then the ability now these signs shall follow them that believe in my name, shall they cast out? Well, alright, then there must be a few devils to cast out or God wouldn't have asked us to do it right? He wouldn't say in his word there to be cast out. Well, then there must be a few devil spirits around someplace. But who knows anything about devil spirits? You can belong to the organized church for a century. And nobody ever talks about devil spirits. No anything about it. As a matter of fact, you don't believe in them. They think there are psychiatric situation of some kind or other. And for people who do believe them, they think you're nuts. Got the whole values all turned around. That's right. My name shall the cast out. Devils, they shall speak Absolutely. With new town. And that doesn't say that, like one thought told me to speak in tongues simply meant that here before you used your tongue to swear, now since you're safe, don't swear anymore. That's a new tongue. Well, my, that's a switch though. Here before you deny Jesus with your tongue. Now you have accepted Him. So now you've got a new tongue. That's not what the Word teaches. It's a switch. It's interesting. Now, verse 18, says they should take up serpents if they drink any deadly thing. This taking up serpents, I better give you the accuracy of the word there in verse 18. And if they should accidentally, that's the text by accident, just suddenly pick up a poisonous serpent. Or like remembering an axe that Paul was gathering sticks. The build a fire, help to build a fire, the bishop will teach you the Orientalism in its tremendous, because anybody in the Bible who wants to warm his hands at anybody else's fire has to contribute some firewood. That's right. That's why Paul was out gathering sticks. Because he had to make his contribution to the fire if he wanted the heat. Or this be great principle in the day when, if you want to eat, you got to work and few other minor things come along. The power was out gathering the firewood, bringing it in. And as he was gathering, a very poisonous Viper. Attacking penetrated his skin. And when the old king looked at him, he said, oh god, he's got the devil or something. He's gonna keel over dead. So Paul walks up to the fire goes off in the fire. And he starts having a meeting. Nothing happens to the Apostle Paul. So finally the king decides he must be God. That's that's written in the book. Sure. Now, that's the kind of thing he's talking about. He's not talking about some of these boys that you hear about, read about the newspaper in the south some time, they'll take this verse to mean that they can have a rattlesnake meeting or a cobra meeting, and they can tame the snake, you know, if they take up any deadly serpent shall not hurt done. You've seen this article in the newspapers within the last two years. That's not what it's talking about. It's talking about if you could accidentally be attacked by a poisonous serpent or snake or anything else. Okay. And the same thing, if you drank any deadly thing, it shall not that they shall lay your hands on the sick, and the sick shall die. They shall up recover. That's what it says. That's what it means. Now the laying on of hands is for revelation. And as they got revelation said, they'd lay hands on the sick, and the sick would walk. Amen. This is one type of healing. First, I'll handle this in the advanced class show you from the Bible, there are four or five different types of healing. This is one because this one is talking about recovery, right? You couldn't recover something if you'd never had it to begin with.

As you never had you never owned a baseball, you and then you lose that in the grass someplace. You boys go. You lose it. You couldn't have recovered it if you hadn't had a diverse place, right? This type of healing is a recovery. You have had health at one time, that old Satan stolen away from you. You got beat on it. Now. It's a matter of recovery. This is what he's talking about. Well, these are the kinds of things you must renew your mind on. Many of the people in the classes have a great deal to go through it all. To renew the mind, somebody said something about theology tonight, so forth, we have all been through this. If your theology stands in the way of truth, you're never going to move, you and I must stay hungry for God's word, and make our theology agree with what the Word says, rather than to pull the word down to our preconceived ideas, right? This is some of the category, or these are some of the things in the category of the renewed mind, that you must understand. Now, these signs of follow them that believe, these signs shall follow them. And when you and I believe, then they start coming the path, I want you to turn to Ephesians one of the greatest books in the Bible addressed to the church Ephesians. And I bring this up tonight to show you the greatness of also another side of the renewed mind, in this field. A man could have the ministry, in the body of Christ of a pastor, for instance. And yet, there are no major signs or miracles or wonders ever occur, because he no longer does what that he, he no longer believes. There is a story in the Old Testament, if I remember correctly, I read it in class or didn't read it here last Sunday night in the auditorium about this prophet, who got a young prophet whom God sent from that or was it up north to witness and then the old prophet who lived there he lived in Bethel, I think, the old prophet. Well, the text reads, somebody reminded me of that, that text reads, that he was the he was out of commission. The old problem, he was out of commission, the reason the old problem was out of commission. The Bible says that because he didn't know. He did not believe yet the man was a prophet. He had had a tremendous ministry, that that ministry went down the drain because of one thing, what, Billy, now in the church, in the church, to which you and I belong when we are born again of God's Spirit, irrespective of our denomination or background, in the church, there are five ministries, these are set forth in Ephesians chapter four. And we go back to verse eight to pick it up. Wherefore he said, When He ascended up on hat, this is when Jesus Christ descended upon high, when He ascended up, he led what captivity, captive boys and taught something. The captivity comes from Satan. And when He ascended up into heaven, he Jesus Christ led captivity. He took Satan's captivity and he led a captive, then how can the world can it any longer be captivating to us if he learned captive birds? It can't, unless we allow him to. He led captivity captive, verse eight, and gave up gifts on the left, man. Now you know, verse nine and 10, I have a parentheses, you see, nine and 10 are in a parentheses, or parentheses is a legitimate figure of speech.

Used to set something in between something else which little which explains that a little further, that if you want to get the impact of the continuity, you must go from verse eight to verse 11. He gave gifts under man, last part of verse a carefully, He gave gifts on demand. Verse 11, he gave somewhat apostle, then the gifts that He gave unto men are some apostles, some prophets, and some evangelists, some pastors add up. Those are the gifts that that he gave on demand. After he ascended. When He ascended, He led captivity captive, and then he gave gifts and demand. These gifts that he gave on demand came into being on the day of Pentecost. But on the day of Pentecost, he also gave the gift of the new birth, which is Christ in you the hope of glory, that now with Christ in us as the whole goal, how is this going to be manifested? How are we going to carry out the job to know what we've got? That's why he put into the church, five ministries, apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers. He put these in the church, so that we might be able to believe renew our mind, they teach us the word, we renew our mind on the word, and then we believe and bring it to pass as believers in the census world in which we It gave apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers. Now verse 12 tells you, okay, somebody is asking, Well, what's an apostle? What are these? Okay? Before we read verse 12, I'll tell you, an apostle, is one who brings new light to his generation. It may be old light, but it's new to the generation to whom he speaks. A prophet is one called of God. It's a man of God who speaks to God's people. For the most part, like a prophet in the Old Testament, when he spoke to Israel, God's people Israel, he called them backsliding, heifers, one time and few other minor names through the years. You know, I tell you, a prophets an awful hard man to take your knocks, not half the time and all the rest of the stuff that goes with the negatives in people's believing. A prophet is a man who speaks to God's people, is a man who says to God's people, you're off. You're wrong here. You're wrong there. And that's why almost every prophet, I think almost everyone in the Old Testament got his head chopped off, didn't he? persecuted and killed, Weisner for into song, the standard says, Why? Because a prophet. A prophet is a man who about everything has to be obedient to God's word, and he must speak what the Word says and what he knows God wants open, even if it costs him his life, and it costs him his friends next notice. That's why the ministry I've got a prophet is basically one who speaks to God's people. He's not out here talking to the unbeliever. He is talking to God's people who are not believing God's Word or not knowing God's word, and are horsemen out in the field. He says, Come on back to God's word. Let's get back to the Word. Let's study the Word. Let's put the word word belong. That's why an apostle is always one who basically has the ministry to God's people, not the unbeliever. Now, the next one happens to be an evangelist. I think y'all know what an evangelist is, is one who evangelize as one who has the ministry, it's a gift ministry this way down from God gets ministry to when men and women for Christ. Whenever he preaches, whenever he teaches, boy, his ministry is such that it the unsaved just hear the way to God and he builds faith in Him and they want to get saved. That's the ministry of evangelists, pastors, pastors, your I think, you know, again, a pastor is one who binds up the wounds of the sheep. Technically speaking, you know, the belly and burn all of us as believers need a pastor. We all have spots and places in our life, where we need someone to undergird us where we need someone to bind up our wounds, which Oh, Satan has afflicted. That's why a pastor has a tremendous ministry, even besides eating your chicken and a few other minor things like that. He has the ministry, a gift ministry to try to heal the wounds that Satan inflicts, on his people on on on on God's people, Satan has no right but it doesn't anyways that he can get away with. And a teacher is one who teaches God's will, who makes that word of God living in real and he teaches it so that the children can understand it. Because if that no children can understand it, most of the adults will get around to get. Therefore all the teaching must be geared that the children can understand God's wonderful and matchless word. Now, these are the five ministries in the body of Christ in the church. These are given that men and women can renew their mind and work on it. They are gifts this way down. For us, they are gifts from God, they are charismata is the Greek word. They are given from God, you do not earn them, you do not work for them. You do not go to a theological seminary and become educated by them. Like we go to theological seminaries, and then we turn out what we call teachers, or we turn out what we call pastors. No, not if thirds, right. You could go to every Theological Seminary in the world and still not be a pastor or teacher. That's right. Teachers are men of God called Display upon apostles are men. This way from top down, God calls them that's why it's a gift. If you go to a theological seminary or Bible college or Bible school, it's worth four You earn it, you go like you were here in the classes these three weeks. You, you do work for what you got. Because you work toward night after night, day after day, your work. That then the work you know that word is not a gift to you. That when you believe you got saved, that's a gift. salvations again, to be an apostle is a gift. God gives it this way down. That's why it's a cat his motto. That's why you must be careful of your thinking and renew your mind that you can't turn out a teacher by sending them to an institution. Now, if a man is called of God, if he's called of God, and has the ministry of an apostle, prophet, evangelist, teacher or pastor, then if he's in the right school where the word is predominant, he can learn a lot. But it never makes him an apostle, prophet, evangelist, teacher, our pastor going to school do you understand? It is a gift. God lead camp Jesus Christ lead captivity Cathy's and he goes up gifts, and the gifts that he goes are not earned as they would not be gifts. And these gifts are apostles, prophets, evangelists, teachers and pastors. Now, the next verse tells you what they are for, for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of God, ministry, for the edifying, the word edifying means up, building up the building up of the Bride of Christ, you're building up what they cause the church, from the day of Pentecost was not the Bride of Christ, the bride of Christ is in the gospels, the church of the Gospels is the bride of Christ, because the bride groom was here at the church, to what you and I belong is the body, For Christ is in you the hope of glory. And his church is a body of which he is the spiritual head. We are the individual believing members in it. Now he gave these five gifts ministries are the perfecting of the saints. How in the world can you do that? Well, it can't.

It can't be perfecting on the inside can it because this which we receive within the inner man is all up. Perfect. It has to be perfect for the inner man is Christ in you. It is eternal life. It is righteousness, justification, sanctity, everything else, right? Therefore this must be perfect. There's only one place that the man who is born again of God's Spirit is not perfect, and that's it is mine. So it's in the category of the renewed mind. That's why these ministries are given for the perfecting of the mind, of the other saints in their minds that they can believe God's word perfectly, for the work of the ministry. By the way, preaching is not a gift. No teachings, not a gift. Preaching is the art of publicly expounding the scriptures that's preach. The gift ministries are only five. Now every apostle will preach, right? Every every teacher will preach. Every prophet will preach every evangelist will preach, every pastor will preach. Preaching is not a gift. Preaching is the art and an art is learned. Preaching is the art of publicly expounding the scriptures. Now the the the art of public Lee expounding this via the gift Ministries is to edify build up the body over. All right, when an evangelist is out, preaching the Word, people believe they get saved. And that increases the love the body more you get saved, more join the body. When the apostle what brings new life to that generation, that life builds up the body, it edifies it builds up. That's why all these ministries are given. Now, I was taught, and so are most of you are in this auditorium tonight. That many of these ministries so called died with the apostles, I was taught that there are no apostles left. That when Peter and James and John is bawling, John was the last one John the Beloved Disciple, when he died, all the apostles were gone. And I was taught that with the death of the these apostles, or the prophets were gone. I wonder I was reading these verses, many years ago, reading these verses, and I got to thinking back of all this wrong thinking I had, I honestly believe there were no apostles, like many people do today, that they said Are there no profits today? And I found in the same verse, If there are no apostles and prophets, there cannot be any pastors. And here everybody was calling me Pastor where we were, which I didn't like to get done anyways, because the denomination had sort of trained that don't ever call anybody Reverend because nobody's reverend. See, because the professors who taught it weren't Reverend so they said nobody else's Reverend, so don't call anybody Reverend attract and they said call everybody pastor Grady, many of those boys I see never did pastor thing in your life. If you can't train people in schools for this, we should know this. Alright, I got to thinking and I think it's logical and so do you if you sit down and think it through, if there are no apostles and prophets, and there can be no evangelists. And if there are no evangelists, there can be no pastors, there can be no teachers. And yet the very people who taught that the apostles died, were teaching us that they died, they rated themselves as teachers. And I tell you, how you run hide, going to fit all that confusion together, right? Impossible. Class, all you have to do is look at the word. And if the apostles are gone, and what else is gone, the teachers are gone, the evangelists are gone, and the letter masters, right, I'll just accept the word for what it says believe it. And as I believe in science, miracles wonders have come to pass. And God will again, raise up men who are apostles, prophets, evangelists, teachers, and pastors. God can not and never raises up anybody until they believe when God knows that men will believe he'll raise them up and give them gifts, ministries of apostles, prophets, evangelists, teachers are pastors, if he knows that they'll believe. But they'll never get it. Except he knows they're gonna believe. That tribe. Now these ministries are here today, no matter what men say, they're here to edify and build up the body of Christ. And but I like that.

It's there to build up the body not to tear it down. It's not to tear it down. Therefore, if you get one group playing against another, and they start tearing each other down, and the groups tear each other down and contradict each other, there's something wrong in the body. That's why we need apostles to stand up. We need prophets to stand up again and say to God's people, come on back, either put up or shut up. Right? We need men to stand. I know there are very few apostles and prophets today, but there are very few evangelists to and very few teachers and very few pastors, biblically speaking, or not Theologically speaking, or denomination Lee speaking, but biblically speaking, but very few. If you're poor for coming tonight, then you'd have been better off staying home because you'd have been waiting. And I tell you, that's what you should have done. I don't all say I told you go home. I didn't say anything. Like I simply said, if you're poor for coming, you'd have been better off stay at home. Try this short, your common Sunday nights our people come great distances, not because I tear them down. They come because by the grace of God through the whole program, including the singing the prayers and everything else, we have only one purpose in mind. And that is to build up men and women to edify them to make them stronger. So they can go back in this whole world this weekend be a world beater, that a wife beater. That was a good one just thought. Well, these ministries are given and they're not dead. If they'd only read the 30 Verse, They would have known that those apostles, the ministries didn't die with the apostles and so forth. For the verse 13 says, kill the apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors teacher, for the protecting same for the resume edifying the body of Christ, how long verse 13 ties to the length of it, until we all come in the unity our diva why we're a far cry from that today, with 4000 5000 different denomination. We're on fire far cry from unity of the faith, unity of the faith. I want to develop and the knowledge of that and to a work permit perfect man, unto the major of the stature of the fullness of God. When will this occur? When he returns and remember the Scriptures we come The other night when he returns we shall see Him as He is, for we shall see Him face to face, and we shall be like Him. And that is exactly what this scripture is talking about. For Dan it says we will be a perfect man. Then it says, We will be formed with a measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, then until the return of Christ, what's gonna be here, the gift ministries of apostles, prophets, evangelists, teachers and pastors, that the men and women who are Christian may learn to believe. They be taught to believe so they can renew their mind and begin to manifest the greatness of the Word of God. And there's another reason given in verse 14 Why these ministries are here, that we henceforth be no more children, no more children, tossed to and fro, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive. But speaking the truth in love, that we may grow up, that we may grow up, not be children, but go into Him in all things, which is the head not the bride, which is the head of the church, even though in that wonderful boy, what a tremendous thrill that is to amend Seoul to realize that there are apostle privacy bans of teachers and pastors, and when they operate, and they will operate, as if they don't operate, they won't have it from God. And when they operate, you know what their ministries window it will edify, and will burn up the body. It will strengthen the believer, it will give them exactly what some of you testified in shared earlier tonight, it puts a glue within your soul, it puts an answer in your life. Some things that you question, hundreds of things you may have asked, you get the answer to because the ministries build up the body and advertise it doesn't tear it down. Right? Look at Colossians chapter two Ephesians Philippians Colossians Colossians chapter two. You know, to renew your mind. And the greatness of this wonderful word of God. Nothing, so renews the mind, as the ministries of men who make no no word of God, do it. And you must get to the place that you know what you are, as a Christian, you must get to the Bible to know what you are, you can't go by people's opinion, you must go by the revealed word of God. And therefore, I'd like for you to turn to this section in collections. Someone loaned me a watch, please, they got the lights turned off back there, and I can't tell what time it is. Now I can tell I get the soup all the time up here. I can tell time now, not to watch up here. Not that I'm in a hurry to quit. I just want to know how many hours I still have left posted. So sometime I'm going to get me to watch that Paul Crockett. He still took mine in California. That was last January. And he still got it over in California fix. So I have an idea. They have to put a new speedometer in it and a new battery and a couple of other things. But I don't mind being without a watch. That way I can teach for a number of hours and I can always plead ignorance of time. But where was Colossians? Oh, yes. I want to just take you in a little bit of the Word of God to show you in the renewed mind, the greatness of what you are in Christ Jesus. And again, let me remind you, I didn't write the book. Nor am I responsible for what God wrought in Christ Jesus. as surprised as you may be he did it without. And he did it without anyone else. This is why the greatness of God's word must just thrill a man's soul. What he finds out what he really is in Christ, and that he had that is a man had nothing to do with it. Are you as a man or you as a woman have nothing to do with it, that God was this in Christ and when you have Christ you have what God's Word says. You have literally Colossians chapter two verse six at G have therefore received Christ Jesus. You ever seen tow? Nice Jesus, hello you've received as your personal life If you've received you who you're not by to the right then everything that Christ is is that in you has to be if you've got price that Greg if you take me home with you you got everything I am or bad indifferent. poverty stricken wealth everything else right? Flat feet Butch haircut, anything else adopt? You're just got to take around whether you like it or what or right turn it right around Ladies Gentlemen, spiritually. You see nobody thinks about the greatness of this thing if Christ is in you, how much have you got? Christ and He is the Lord and your Jesus Christ, everything that he is is in you. This is the renewed mind you got to make your mind saying what the Word says. Oh, so what year that's renewed nine the wall verse seven, uprooted, floating around, nope. rooted, rooted, grounded and built up in your theology? In what in him, built up in him now? How are you going to be built up in him? Unless you have apostles, prophets, evangelists teaching pastors to do the building?

No. You just are built up in him, and established you know, establish firmly in do faith, which is a family faith to which we belong because of all of you, as you have been taught, abounding there in with thanksgiving. Now, verse nine, remembering Christ is in you, For in Him in Christ dwells all the fullness of the Godhead, what are your debt, hardly believe it. But if you do, things begin to happen, and most people are afraid of something happen. So they don't believe but you know what that says? It says what it means. And it means what it says that the Federalist of the Godhead bodily brought there. And the scripture says Christ is rare. I didn't write it. But I'm sure trying my life to believe it. I'm sure making these wheels up here track occasionally with what the Word says. Then how in the world can you go out of here tonight and and manifest negative? How can you go downstairs and have a cup of coffee afterwards and sit down there and say, Oh, my goodness. I don't amount to anything. I haven't got anything to live for. When the word says Christ is in you, and the fullness of the Godhead bodily was in Christ and Christ is you. You see why you have some power. Oh boy. But your loves negative so long. You're so acclimatized to the negative is almost hard to even start thinking this way. Because the first thing that devil says it's less than that. And he says, You're not humble. A says you're conceited? Well, you just tell that old devil to go fly a kite. You tell him what the Lord says. The Word says that it's Christ. Were all an act like the right. People, we got to get to the place again as believers to manifest for the Word of God and so much words. My goodness, yes, if you complete your company, if you're not complete, you're not complete. The Word says that you are loved. Well, then how in the world I would have done to manifest it except we believe what the Word says. And when they believe signs bottle goes under what. But if you go around all the time and say, Well, I'm incomplete. I'm not really complete. I'm lacking a great deal. Like she said that she was before you came to class. Jesus Christ made a show of the devil powers openly, openly means that he took the ball, the tricky old veil that flying this apple, both the devil spirit, and he later out there, everybody could see he made a show of them openly. Even if we don't feel like even if I don't manifest it, and I bless. I'm just too stupid to know that we're blessed with our spiritual blessings. But let me ask you a question. If you're blessed with all spiritual blessings, then do you have to pray to be blessed? No, you've already got it. That's why most of our prayer life is our prayers of unbelief. We're asking God to do something which he can't do because he's either already done it or it's not in his providence, never do it. He has blessed us He has blessed us with our work.
