SUMMARY KEYWORDS: crucified, Jesus, risen, day, dead, life, raised, believed, Christ, resurrection, resurrected Christ

I'd like for you to take your Bible tonight. Go to First Corinthians chapter two. One of the things that I enjoy so much when I'm gone is the speed with which I get the tape sent to me after the Sunday night services, and always enjoy the great piano and organ music. Company. Joy is a great thing. But nothing ever blesses my soul anymore so that then when people get into the Word of God, and these past few weeks again, the greatness of the word was here. And that's what we're here for. This is the meaning and the purpose of our existence. We're here to help people with God's word to get a greater understanding of it, and to make it applicable in their lives, to the ability of their believing the great central core, and the crux of all Christianity is the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. In the resurrection, we have the eternal life and the resurrection, we have the greatness of everything that Christianity is. And therefore, at this time of the year, of course, it is in the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, that we look with great Thanksgiving and with great love. There are many been many great men, down through the centuries who have lived and who have done, but there has only been one whom God has raised from the dead, and that one is our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Not only is it attested to by a Jewish historian like Josephus, but it's a testament to those of us who are born again of God's Spirit, filled with the Holy Spirit operating manifestation. Or if God did not raise the Lord Jesus Christ from the dead, no one could ever operate one manifestation of the Spirit. Because the manifestations the potential, the power, that manifestation is dependent upon the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. How the greatness of this word like the great mystery of the church, is not easy to teach to a world that has been taught for centuries. That the center of the church is across the center of the church is not the cross. The cross is only indicative of his death. And in a dead Jesus Christ, there is no power. Because when Jesus Christ was dead, he was was dead. And God is not the God of the dead, but of walk outs, right. And when he raised Jesus Christ, he was living. And in that living, resurrected Christ, is the greatness of the ministry and of the Church of grace, in which you and I belong. And that which first occurred on the day of Pentecost, and he's still here, because the Lord has not yet returned freezone. And so, in the center of the church, because of the open tombs, the resurrection, God gave His Word. And at the center of the church to date times the word, it is this word that was to be as a center, there is no altar before, it's where the Christ has to be played over and over. As it says, In the book of Hebrews, he entered in once and for all, and he saved us to the outermost there is no more sacrifice proceed, because Jesus Christ was the one and only sacrifice, and he is the one and only one whom God has raised again from the dead. Though of all the great men that have ever lived or died, there's only been one thus far, who is alive, and that one is the Lord Jesus Christ. Now the record of the greatness of this, the apostle Paul endeavored to teach to people as God had given him revelation. But he found a group of people in Corinth, who had forgotten or neglected to remember the great Revelation, the book of Romans. And so when he came to Corrine, he couldn't come to them with the greatness that God's word because they could not receive it. And in the second chapter of that, First Corinthians, We have this record that I like to share. And I Brazil, verse one, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring onto you the testimony of God. The word testimony adored Mr. Rhodes, mystery of God's

pour. I determined not to know anything among you, they Jesus Christ, and Him was crucified. And we abused this verse to as a springboard for a text of evangelism, for instance, that I came in your community. And I determined not to know anything among you, except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. And this is a verse we've used as a springboard for that particular service. And it's erroneous, it's out of order. The reason Paul wrote this, or said this, and then it was written it because he wanted to teach them the greatness of God's word, and he couldn't get them beyond the cross. He couldn't go any further with them, then Jesus Christ and Him crucified, because they wouldn't believe anymore. And you can't teach a group of people anymore and what they're capable of believing or receiving. That's why he said, I determined not to know anything among you save Jesus Christ, and Him crucified. And I was with you, even then, in weakness in fear, much trembling up what he was trying to say, he prayed for them, he tried to get them encouraged. He tried to build them up, but they wouldn't go beyond the cross. They couldn't see beyond the Cross. The Cross stood there. And that's all they can see. Because the next verse says, that even my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words, are a man's wisdom. But even in was a demonstration of the Spirit and a power. He demonstrated among them the greatness of this thing, and yet they could not get beyond the cross. Most people today are still held spellbound by the cross, lots of power, the power of the fullness of God, in the power of the Holy Spirit, which makes us more than conquest, and where he came that we might have life and have it more abundantly. It's not in the cross. It's in the resurrected Christ as a gift of His Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost. That's where a lot. That's why he said in verse six, I'll be it. But we speak wisdom among those that are them that are protected among those who are protected, and the word perfected, is used in Greek literate tour. When those who have been initiated into the highest order of Greek religion, that's when they use that perfect. And he said, among those, those few who were perfect, who had reached the top echelon of understanding onto those, he spoke not the word, wisdom of this world, or the princes of this room, that coming out. But in verse seven, he says, that those who spoke the wisdom of God in a was those he could declare the mystery, the wisdom of that great words, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory, which none of the princes of this world nailed for had they noted, they would not have won, crucified, the Lord of Glory, at the center of the church is not the cross. Because if the cross is at the center of the church, then verse eight is meaningless. Because Bert eight declares that they nor any of his cohorts of this world knew that when they crucified Jesus, God would raise him. And that in the resurrection would be the glory of the Church of the Redeemer, go at you and I belong. Else. It says, they would not have crucified the Lord of Glory. He'd never crucified he had he knows that God would raise him. And that's the great secret that great mystery would be revealed someday of Christ into the hope lagoon, and that the Gentiles are federal heirs and of the same body. Is that a tremendous thing? This is why, all through the Bible, from the day of Pentecost on the central message of all the teaching of the apostle, and all the men of God was the resurrected Christ. That is why in Romans 10, nine, many of you in the auditorium know it for memory. Others of you may not so I suggest we all look at it. Romans, chapter 10, verse nine.

09:37

If they all will confess with I mouth, the Lord Jesus and shall believe in nine hearts that God has lots raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart, man believeth on the righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto what salvation can First with your mouth, the Lord Jesus. But there's one thing you've got too many beyond a shadow of a doubt. This is the great truth to the church. And that is that God is what raised Him from the dead. So it is all through the epistles. And I kept your to your what you need not turn currently. But in Acts chapter two, when Peter preached that first sermon after the initial outpouring on the day of Pentecost, time and time again, you'll see in it when you're working, study talks about the resurrected Christ. We're all we all are witnesses. They had seen him, they had talked to him, he had talked to them, they were shorter than sure of the resurrected Christ. This is why tonight I want you to turn to the last chapter, the Gospel of Matthew, the last chapter, the Gospel of Matthew. And in this last chapter, like in all the chapters in every gospel, there is the record of the resurrected Christ. It says in the end of the Sabbath, as it began to dawn towards the first day of the week, which we will refer to as Easter Sunday, a Mary Magdalene and the other married sees a separate group. And behold, there was a great earthquake, or the angel of the LORD descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door and sat upon his his continent was like lightning. And his raiment wanted to do and for fear of him to keep rigid, shaken became as Deadman. The angel answered and said unto the women, they're not G. Ron know that Jesus, Jesus, who are which was was crucified past tense, who was crucified past tense. He is not here, for he is risen, as he said, there's the message, when they came to the separate early that morning, danger declared that this Jesus had been crucified, the one who had been crucified, he had risen. But it does not say here in Matthew, that he just got up two minutes before they got there on the first day of the week. This has been read into the Gospels. To find out when Jesus Christ was resurrected, you got to go to other sections of the scripture, and work the whole word of God. But boy, if God when those women arrived at that, to that morning at that stuff occurred, Jesus was up. You just can't imagine what that must have done. Because their senses mind and they could only understand things in the census realm because there was body and so their senses mind just said it tap bait, just like many times if someone is dies abruptly, is killed in an automobile accident or some other type of calamity. Like in service, you get the message, so and so's been killed. You're just tap believe it. Because maybe a week before two days before the morning in the morning, you talked to them. The resurrection was like that. I think we've spent way too much time criticizing in past years, that people said, Well, why didn't save any odd body powder done any better? I wonder if you did any better? Had we been there at that time? It was such a cataclysmic affair. Why? Because nobody ever got up before and just nobody. Nobody had ever, ever been resurrected. Nobody ever had a body like Jesus Christ had yours. He had talked about it, but it was so far out. They even the apostles thought he was left for you. Can you imagine? Can you just start gelling a little bit thinking here. So the greatness of that spiritual electricity about just flooded through them when the angel said he is resin? He's resin? He is resin? Oh, that must have been a morning, autumn morning. That must have been when that declaration was made first time in the history of the world. That anybody had been resurrected. Like the Lord Jesus Christ, your I know Lazarus got up and he died later. I know that there wasn't a resurrection. When there's a resurrection, there's no more depth.

14:38

And in that, Lord Jesus Christ, there was the greatness of that resurrection. It's a wonderful truth. Look what else was said. Go quickly. He's not here for He's risen as he said, Come see the place where the Lord lay verse seven, and go quickly and tell his disciples that he has risen. from the dead, and behold, he goes before you into Galilee, which chronologically was a little later than just the day of the appearance of the Lord Jesus Christ. And they departed quickly from the separator with fear and great joy, and did run to bring his disciples word, they departed quickly. You know what the word quickly be? They hotfooted out there. They were on the move. I don't know what they did 109 Three or not, but I'll bet they were moving. And they were going back because the excitement Can you imagine? He's risen. He's risen. He's lizard. How that must have just done something beyond what even my mind can comprehend or apprehend even. And they headed back into the city. really tremendous. I'd like free to turn the gospel of Mark the last chapter and see it from this chapter.

16:07

And when the Sabbath was passed, Mary Magdalene, and Mary, the mother of James and Salome had brought sweet spices that they might come and anoint him. And very early, very early, and very early beans very early 334 o'clock, 430. Very early. In the morning, the first day of the week, they came onto the step occur as arising of what and the text reads before the writing. And they said among themselves, who, who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the separator. And when they look, they saw that the stone was was rolled away, for it was very great. They look. And when they looked, they saw that the stone had been rolled on. People, if anybody takes an honest look today, at the greatness of the revelation to the church, in God's words, they've got to again say that literally on truly dot stone was rolled away, Jesus Christ did arise, He is ALIVE, He is an eternal reality. And if this Jesus cuts through, those men saw him as sin. And the Word says that this same Christ to ascend itself, so come in like manner, as you've seen him go, ladies and gentlemen, I just can not concurred with the theologians of our nation and the clergyman who say that he's not coming back. I believe he's coming back. I have the reality of His Divine Presence within my soul. And because of that presence within that assurance within I know, God raised Him. And if God raised Him, He ascended. He's coming back. And when he's coming back, I'm going towards every other born again, believer, right, and all those who have died or are asleep in crisis, the Word says, this gives a man something to put his teeth into something to believe. Somebody else says, Well, I want to believe the other way. What, go ahead. Yeah, I have the privilege of being stupid, if you like. But that, to me is the height of stupidity. I try. I just came out of this argument on Genesis last week, with the biologists and a few chemists do ologists and a few other deals. And when you set those students right down, and you finally make them sit and really think it is much easier for me to breathe, to believe an intelligent God, Who created the heavens and the earth that but then to think you're dropped out of nowhere to become something that really takes brains to believe that last one. That's right. I don't even have a lot slept or busted to teach them last week. But if I had one, oh, you guys got one. You're looking at your own? Do you think it's got any intelligence behind it? Are you just think by the process of evolvement and evolution that over a period of 5 billion trillion years that thing fell together? Or you think somebody had a little bit of brains to put it together? Now class, ladies and gentlemen, who believe in that other stuff, where it just happened by accident, that is to me, absolute stupidity. And when you say you got intelligence and you believe that you're only fooling yourself, you have no intelligence, or if you're highly intelligent, you'd have to believe in an intelligence to have to have created the heavens of the earth who sets the stars in their courts. And ladies and gentlemen, back still as nothing you know why? Because he said Out of all of his work, the greatest web works was his word, just the stars in their courses. And they're fabulous. Not the moon, not the sun. They're terrific. But of all of God's words, it says in Psalm 138. Two, he magnified his word above all these names. Ladies and gentlemen, if that's true, we better get our nose to where God said he, he we ought to be really magnified His Word, we ought to get to studying the word of the gel that word. Find out the whys and the wherefores. But what has happened in our intellectual rounds, we are filled with all the dome. I tell you are God's something else. That's fabulous. That's unbelievable. But I believe it anyways. Because it's the only thing that makes any sense. It's the only thing that makes anything that's worth living, makes life worth living. Without that resurrected Christ is the power of God and the greatness of these words, you've got nothing, you're just here for a walk.

21:04

And I don't want to be here for something. I just don't want to be here by accident, there has to be a purpose, a design for my presence here for your presence here. Well, the word of God says that the purpose for it is that you and I may glorify God, well, how are we going to glorify Him except we let that word living and talk about that resurrected Christ whom to know is to have life and have life eternally, is the wonderful, you bet your life look at the rest of it. When they look, they saw that the stone was what? Why don't we just take a look? If we just take a look to stone roll away from a lot of skepticism, and doubt, in my mind, it was just there to take a look at the integrity and accuracy of God's word. They were discussing who's going to roll the stone, you know, everybody's disgusted with problems. The problems are knowing that anyways, everybody's got problems right? There no way and, and they're always there. How are we going to get this problem? How are we going to solve this? How are we going to meet this bail? How are we gonna do that? Ah, we just take a look at the right one, those problems with the tiles, we got to get our eyes up, we got to remember the the record in the Old Testament, a lot of those Israelites had died because they've been disobedient. And I think God told Moses, get himself a serpent or something right wandered around something. And he said, Whosoever looketh and just say you have to spend on his knees praying all day. It didn't say in the words that he had to do this or had done that. All he had to do was look and as he looked at that, that cross, on which the serpent was put the word says God healed. Ladies and gentlemen, if we just look at God's Word, and the Christ to be raised from the dead, if we just look, we get delivered. You know why? Because you become what you look at. You become the pigmentation of that would you look at it says someplace in the epistles, that if we will look at him, we will become like he is. We got to get our eyes up and not fail. If a man wants to keep his eyes down, that's his privilege. But it's our privilege on the other hand, to turn them up and to look at him. Boom to see his life and life eternal. Remember the old song Garth he plays it wrote a plays that we sing every once in a great while when we get the big old hymnals out. Turn your eyes upon Jesus.

23:48

Look, though it is wonderful thing. And the thing is, the birth grows strangely. In the light of His glory, and of His grace.

24:00

Those whom He called he justified those whom He justified he for a fine he did other things in between the two are more accurate on and I am rotten nail. He did all this. Well bless God, if we're already glorified, were glorified. And he did this because of the resurrected Christ. Because of that power that did not resurrection. No wonder the world wants to say that God didn't raise you. No wonder they tried to propound that it was his twin brother that took the place. No wonder they propound us and propound that why not just let the simplicity of God's word live abounding Lee and let the word prove itself and it will do any man or any woman who wants to be honest with God's word and let that try that word out. Remember what God said Prove me now here when he said in Malikai even about ties he said prove me not try me out. See if I'm alive. See if I will not open you Use the windows of heaven and pour you out a blessing to not be rude but not to receive other places in the world. He says prove me. Prove me. God is not afraid of having somebody to try to prove he's a God doesn't put up and bring very much light to those who endeavor to disprove. Just prove the gods you're going to have an awful time trying to disprove. He's going to have the last word on that one any? Yes, sir. All this stone was rolled away. And then during the sepal curve or spot, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, flew in a long life, Garmin, and they were uprising. And he says under them being out of Friday, GC, Jesus of Nazareth, which was past tense, crucified, who was crucified, he is what does it say? He just arose that morning. Now it says that he had been crucified and that he had risen past 10 It does not tell you in the Gospel of Mark when he rose, when he tells you is already up at the time that Gustin the hold the place where they laid him. But go your way, telling disciples and Peter, that he goes before you to Galilee, there shall you see him, as he said unto you, and they went out quickly and fled from the sucker. And they trampled and were amazed. The way to amaze there is the same as on the day of Pentecost, when they heard them speak in tongues. They said, the people were amazed. Or what were they amazed about? They were amazed that he had risen. On the day of Pentecost, they were amazed at these people who were just northern Galilee, and that they were speaking in tongues, the wonderful words to God. Why should you and I, who have lived in a so called Christian country, and a so called area where the churches have about it in multiple numbers, why should you and I still be amazed about the reality of the presence of the power of God, it seems to me, we ought to be amazed at our amazement, that we're still amazed should that should be the exuberance of our life, it should be the impacts the dynamics of our life, we should be expecting our God to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we are starting, we should expect him to be there for him to give us the greatest and most wonderful day and week of our lives, whatnot. He is our God, He is our resurrected Christ. And really, I'm amazed that people are amazed today. The Gospel of Luke when he pours chapter, first first job on the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came under the separate curse, bringing spices that they had, which they had prepared, and certain others wisdom. And they found the stone rolled away from the supplicant. And they entered in and found out the body of the Lord Jesus. And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed. There about, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments. As they were afraid and bowed down their faces to the earth. They said unto them, Why Siki the living among lots? Isn't that fabulous?

28:50

Why stick to living among the dead? He is not here. But is what does it tell us when he got up? Oh, it just declares the truth, that when the women came to a separate call early that morning, that Jesus Christ was not there, for God had raised him some time before. Why seek you the living among the dead, He is not here but is risen. Remember how he spoke to you? When he was young, in Galilee, saying, The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men and be crucified and the third day rise again. They remembered his word and they returned from the sepal Gert, and pull all those things under the 11th. And to all the rest. It was Mary Magdalene, Joanna, very the mother of James, all the women that were with them, which told these things under the apostles at their word, seem to them at idle tails, and they believed them not Today when you declare the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, so many people don't word will still seem as an idle tale. And they will not believe it. Ladies and gentlemen, whether they believe it or whether they don't, it's not my primary concern. My concern is that they hear it, they must have a chance to hear it, they must have an opportunity to have it declared to them with all the accuracy and the greatness of God's words, then they can make up their mind either accepted or rejected. When they declared these words, it seemed like I don't tell you. I know it seems like I don't tell two men women, many times, because they're just natural man until they're born again. And remember what it says in Corinthians that the natural man receivers not watch the things of the spirit of Gods they're foolish to sound to him, neither can he know them, because they are spiritually what is our Spinoza spiritual things you have to be spiritual things in the natural realm can be known by the five senses, but the things that God can only be known by those who have God in Christ in them. Well Behold, 32 of them that M went that same day, to a village called e mail, which is from Jerusalem about three scores for lunch. And they talk together of all these things which had happened. It came to pass at Wow, they commune together and reason. Jesus himself drew near and went with them. This was in His resurrected body. But their eyes were holed. Up means that couldn't say, not by, but just sometimes, like a spiritual truth, that God's word, you're going to read that thing a dozen times. I marvel at this all the time, when I teach these classes, and when I read Acts, chapter one, wisdom, and Acts chapter two, these young people and adults many times just sit back and amazed, but and they say, Well, we've heard it read, we've seen it read, How come we've never seen it. It's been there for 2000 years. It can only be like the word of God declared that Satan has blinded our eyes so that we shouldn't see the truth for when we see the truth a man can believe and if he believes all hell can stop him from going getting saved because God raised the President will repeat. I tell you how to make a good shop message or something. Oh, this is alive people. It's vital, even Baptist. That's all I had down there. Had one squeaking Episcopalian, everything else was Baptist, Methodist. That's the Deep South, you know, every place I went to have the Confederate flag or something great gang. Well, their eyes were a hole. And he said on them what Khmer communications are the that you have one with another, as you walk in are so sad. And one of them whose name was playup was answering said unto him, are also a stranger in Jerusalem, I guess he was a stranger Jerusalem has been treated like one. And have not known the things which are come to pass there these days.

33:43

And he said on them what they they said unto him concerning Jesus of Nazareth, which was a prophet, mighty in deed and word before God at all the people and how the chief priests in our rooms, delivered him to be condemned to death, and have crucified him past him. But verse 21, we trusted that it had been he, which should have redeemed Israel. We were trusting we were just sort of hoping, sorta, and business gene that perhaps this really was the real one, the real Messiah, the One who would redeem Israel. But at the because besides all this, the day is the third day since these things were done since third day since makes it the fourth day that they were talking. Oh, three days have gone by that makes it the fourth day I told us today is three days ago and other tech states. Today is three days ago, since that occurred. Yay. And certain women also of our company may made us astonished, which were early at the step occur. And when they found out his body that came saying that they had also seen the basis of angels, which said that he was alive. And certain of them which were with us, went to the suffer and found it even so, as the women had said, but him they saw not. Then he said, are them all fools and slow and hard to believe? That's still a message that rings a clarion call in our ears in this day and hour, oh fools and slow of heart to believe. all that the prophets have focused on not Christ, to separate these things, and entered into his glory, and beginning at vote, and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the Scripture. And the things concerning Himself was a message that must have been, wouldn't you just love to have been there to heard that message from Moses all the way through the scriptures that dealt with him. And we have not one record in the Bible. I sure would have enjoyed being there. But I didn't make it. I don't know what was spoken, but it must have been good. Well, the Lord Jesus Himself gave it. These are the kind of things that used to set me with great all and respect for God's word, when the Lord Himself expounded the scripture, that God Almighty refused to put it in the word is how I stood in great all the words. This is one of the great principles upon which I finally concluded that the word of God had to be the will of God. It has to mean what he says, Because records like this, where Jesus Christ Himself expounded the word from Moses all the way through concerning Himself, God by revelation, when the author when the writer of this book voted, God by revelation never gave it to that man. Therefore, it's not an extent it's not writing, and what a message Muscovy but the Scripture says, this is in here, that we may know that we have eternal life. And so the things that are deleted many times from the words are the very things that my understanding of the word make that word, the word so infinitely, right? Because if I would have written it, I would have wanted this record. You know why? Especially so having been in theological circles, and moved into categories of reading, so many commentaries. The reason I like it so much, is because I got a center reference in my Bible. And then many times, you have little markings in the word, where they take everything from the New Testament, and go back and pick it up someplace in the old, and they cross reference, and they say, this is the record, from Moses all the way through. Whenever I see that these little wheels above my ears begin to grind. And I say to myself, could they be right? The very simple answer for me, the answer is no. They cause had Jesus wanted that word, all tied together from Moses, to the Prophet. You've got the record here in Luke, where Jesus preached it out, think God Almighty put it in words. And most of the stuff that they say are prophecies from the Old Testament fulfilled another is simply the projection of a man's mind back in to what he thinks that says, When God says he didn't want it said, and I'm curious, that's why they've never understood the script, when the Bible in the New Testament, epistles gospels, brings the word from the Old Testament in there, and it's threatened by divine revelation. I'll accept it as coming from Isaiah and the rest of them, but when they cross reference them, like they're doing, I God my God, why yourself spared me in a lot of these others. I just bypass them in my mind, yet I have to live with people and I have to put up with people therefore I have to go back and disprove from the accuracy of the words that that isn't at all what the Word says. But a real man of God is one teaching God's hungry people would never ask to do it you know why? Because it's not necessary for had God wanted it said he would have said it. Why guess at it? Why guess that is? Why say that these are prophecies fulfilled from so and so in the Old Testament. Unless the Word says that they are the prophecies fulfilled. You understand me? Turn cold On this night, first night home, next week's difference, I'll be here. It's like go to girl first time you're supposed to nice tour, you know, second time you can have a steak and buy a hamburger, I don't know. But the point still Is this the gospel Luke. Sure, as they drew the height of the village, whether they went, he made his own would have gone further, verse 29, but they constrained him. They constrained him, they gave him five arguments as to why otter stay overnight, abide with us towards toward evening. And the day is far spent, and went and he went in to carry with him. And it came to pass as he started to meet with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave us and now wonderful, and write them Their Eyes Were Watching. And they knew him and he vanished out of there was a lot of tremendous revelation. I don't know very much about this, except when I read the word, but it must have been a danger. Here they were walking along Jesus, whether they were not cognizant at all that this was the resurrected Christ. They had a conversation. They invited him in, he sat down at the table with them. He took the bread he blesses gave back, gave it to them, and then their eyes rolled. I don't know. But if you're good, and I often think, if only God in His mercy and grace, allows us to live a little longer if Christ tarry to where we can believe God bigger than we've ever believed. That we can help people with a word that our eyes may be open in the way we break toward the way we break it rot like the way we feed it the way we offer it. Certainly, if you're going to offer a wonderful dinner, you just don't slap it on the fair table and say there's a fried chicken eat it. I've been with too many of you people at dinner, you just don't do it that way. You get out the nicest dishes you have. You serve these entrees in the most beautiful fashion, you know how? Why not with God's wonderful matchless word? Why serve make yourself obnoxious to begin with. You wouldn't do it in physical food. Why? Then not do it even more beautifully with God's word makes you swear to God. So living in so vital and totalized embellishing with all the beauty of God's magnificent presence and power and make it delectable a good word I don't know. But that's the only thing that is just so palatable that when you offer it to people, they've at least got to eat a little bit of it to find out how good it is before they can say it's no good or something. Or you can turn people off by having too much of the Word of God you give them steak when they're used to Bologna. So you're given embellies bologna make it so that they can have the beauty of God's Word with all of its glory and magnificence.

Because people you and I don't want to turn anybody off on the word we want them to see the word we want them to have an opportunity Cathy's partake of it. And I think that that's how their eyes were opened after he broke the bread bless that gave the A and their eyes were open I don't know. I think the spiritual principles okay, but I know the word tremendous

you know what it is? You had a long walk. It rose up the same hour verse 33. And they went right back to Jerusalem or they've come from that day and they found the 11 together. And you know, where's the 11? Where don't you behind closed doors for fear of the Jews locked in with their Yale they're both everything put in they just didn't want anybody. And I can just see I can just see all of those closets you know that you put clothes in whatever you call those things pushed up the side of the door and the chairs piled up. I saw the TV show how they did that. So

okay. Gather to gather at Netivot were with them verse 34. And here's what they said. The Lord is lizard and deep and has appeared to Simon And they prove they that they will remember, whoa, why things were done in the way he the way was there then already, and how he was known of them, end up breaking have won, in the prize known of them in the breaking of bread. I wish people that this bread of life, Jesus Christ and the word that gives us a record of Jesus Christ, that we could so study to show ourselves approved unto him, that we would not need to be worked by who'd be ashamed of our workmanship, by not rightly dividing the word but that we could and would rightly divide the word for in the breaking of this bread of life, is the greatness of God's wonderful max which way I like to turn it around in other ways. Not only must we rightly divide the Word and break it accurately, but you and I have to be the broken bread for others to eat until they are able to understand the word and break it so that somebody else can eat off of them. I have to be big enough as a son of God, that I can allow myself to be eaten up have so to speak, that I can teach the Word, and that I can share it that I can hold it forth, until you get strong enough that you can operate, then you can hold it for us, we have to become the broken bread for others until they learn to break bread for themselves. We have to allow people to eat off of us spiritually, many times other ways too, until they become so strong that they can eat their own. That's right. In other words, like I say, in another site, and many times the class that reading when you're a dynamic, powerful Christian, you have no corn. Because everybody just walks on your feet, sooner or later, you've got to have them walking on your edge because they can't walk on their own. Until they get enough of the word to walk on their own. And therefore a Christian cannot afford to have any corn, any sore spots, any places where he's hurt. He's got to become the body of Christ in extension, so that others can eat Christ because they are eating your life and mine because of the greatness of the word. And that's what I'm trying to

a gospel of John plus. Matthew, Mark, Luke, John. Second, last chapter 20, the first day that we come with Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark under the separator and see if the stone taken away from the separator, then she ran up and comment to Simon Peter, I did the other disciple whom Jesus loved, and said unto them, they have taken away the Lord on a separate group, and we know not where they blamed him. Peter therefore went, and that other disciples, and came to the separate ad, so they ran both together, and the other disciples, Get Out Run Peter, and came first to the Sapulpa you know what the commentary say is that this fella was younger in theater. Golly, 60 that's a dad. What time did you tell me? Thank you. And not good. Thomas, Simon Peter, verse six, when in the separate room sees the linen clothesline, and the napkin that was about his wife's head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself. Then waiting also that other disciple, which came first to the separator, and he saw and he was, well praise the Lord. He saw the place where they laid him, they saw the napkin neatly laid up, and he saw and he believed, he saw and he believed it, gentlemen, people a day, many times, it's been a lot of things they still don't believe. But in the process of Our believing, we do say, and the Gospel of Luke, you know, we were reading a while ago in the 24th chapter. When Jesus came in among those disciples in that room that night. Why, while they were speaking, Jesus himself stood in the midst, according to verse 36, to Luke 24. And he said unto them, peace be unto you but they were terrified and afraid of them suppose the Dead Sea of spirits? And he said unto them, Why are you troubled? And why do your? Why do thoughts arise in your heart? Behold, my hands, and my feet that are designed myself, handle me and see for a spirit half not flesh and bones, as you see in the house. And when he had done spoken, he showed on to them, his hand and his luck. And while they yet believe not for joy, and wonders, he said unto them, Have you here any meat, and they gave him a piece of boiled fish in a honeycomb. And he took it, and did teach it before the end, he said unto them, these are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were spoken in the Law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms concerning me, then open either understanding that they might understand the scriptures, and said unto him, nothing is written and ducted bukata suffers, I'm derived from the dead, the third day, you open their eyes, that they might understand, you open their understanding that they might receive the words, we need our eyes open our understanding open, that we can understand the words. I know of nothing that opens a man's understanding and eyes anymore, so and someone else, praying for you, for instance, and with you in the Spirit, and then introducing you to someone who does have the ability to unfold the words, nothing opens the eyes of understanding like the word of God. And once the understanding has been opened with the ineffable greatness of that word, again, we have to declare this year, as every year and this night is every night that our God raised Jesus Christ from it is that our Christ is a living reality. And not just a dead one hanging upon a cross. But that God raised Him from the dead, and that his inevitable greatness and His parents, is available to all believers, because God is no respecter of persons. That what he promised in his word, is not only able but willing to do, even far beyond our prayer life.

52:23

Because the Tensas round, we do not know what we should pray for. But it is the Spirit who makes intercession for the saints, according to the will of God. And it's wonderful, to have the opportunity again, this Easter season. I know that our God raised Jesus Christ, that He is a living reality. And that for those of us born again of God's Spirit, we passed from death unto life, we shall never more come into condemnation. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever died whosoever and not whosoever means what, whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life. It's eternal life from God's point of view. But it's everlasting from a man's point, because I may have been 25 years old when I believed on the Lord Jesus Christ, and therefore for me, it's everlasting from 25 years on, but from God's point of view, it's eternal. What a great reality. And what a great privilege tonight to sit at the feet of the greatness of the word and see our resurrected, Risen Christ, with all the power of God, available to us in our day and in our time.
