Victor Paul Wierwille was a Bible scholar and teacher for over four decades.

By means of Dr. Wierwille's dynamic teaching of the accuracy and integrity of God's Word, foundational class and advanced class graduates of Power for Abundant Living have learned that the one great requirement for every student of the Bible is to rightly divide the Word of Truth. Thus, his presentation of the Word of God was designed for students who desire the in-depth-accuracy of God’s Word.

In his many years of research, Dr. Wierwille studied with such men as Karl Barth, E. Stanley Jones, Glenn Clark, Bishop K.C. Pillai, and George M. Lamsa. His formal training included Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Theology degrees from Mission House (Lakeland) College and Seminary. He studied at the University of Chicago and at Princeton Theological Seminary from which he received a Master of Theology degree in Practical Theology. Later he completed his work for the Doctor of Theology degree.

Dr. Wierwille taught the first class on Power for Abundant Living in 1953.

Books by Dr. Wierwille include: Are the Dead Alive Now? published in 1971; Receiving the Holy Spirit Today published in 1972; five volumes of Studies in Abundant Living— The Bible Tells Me So (1971), The New, Dynamic Church (1971), The Word's Way (1971), God's Magnified Word (1977), Order My Steps in Thy Word (1985); Jesus Christ Is Not God (1975); Jesus Christ Our Passover (1980); and Jesus Christ Our Promised Seed (1982).

Dr. Wierwille researched God's Word, taught, wrote, and traveled worldwide, holding forth the accuracy of God's "wonderful, matchless" Word.

SUMMARY KEYWORDS: day, night, sunset, died, God, resurrected body, Sunday, weekly sabbath, exodus, sabbath, feast, crucified, Matthew

A couple of weeks ago, we published here at the lady headquarters a booklet entitled that day Jesus Christ died. And tonight, I would like to take some of the great tools from that booklet, and others, and set for our people here, a wonderful study of the Word of God, regarding the month, the month, the day of the month, and the day of the week, when Jesus Christ died, and rose again, I said to a group of our people this morning, as we were gathered together for prayer, and a little bit of Bible study and fellowship around the word, I said, How I would like to take this across our nation at this particular time and season of the year. The greatness with which this word is said, so that once again, our young people could really get to the place to understand God's word and believe that and know that it is. It just from my heart coming out of this class, again, like it does every class, to see men and women grow in the knowledge and the grace of God and it is worth nothing is so satisfying to my soul, and my life than to see dedicated men and women. And many times the people who come into my classes are church people, dedicated Christian people who already believe God's word, but they come into my class because they realize that there's something more that they could really understand and appreciate some of the greatness of God's Word. And we just had a terrific class like that. And it's probably just ever best. We have people here in the auditorium tonight, who were just in that class. And at the close of the service, I'm sure you'll be fellowshipping and they'll be glad to share with you the enthusiasm they have within their hearts regarding the greatness of that which God has again rocked by setting this word so beautifully among them. I perhaps ought to Arnulfo just say that next Sunday night here at the headquarters of the week. We will be ordaining two of our young men who have worked in this ministry of Love work the word and it will know many of the great and wonderful truth academically, as well as biblically, we will ordain them here next Sunday night Mr. James Chamberlain and Mr. Richard Crone. And after the ordination, Mr. James Chamberlain is going to be installed as the Assistant Minister of the way and Mr. Richard Chrome will be installed as the Minister of Youth activities for the way incorporated International. And I'm sure that two people in the auditorium here tonight that your friends will want to be here next Sunday night for this tremendous ordination and installation service for two of our great and wonderful young people who really love the Lord, who not only loved the Lord, but will have the knowledge above their ears to rightly divide the worried I just set it in place, and to help people across the nation. And I believe that I'll be I could say without any fear of contradiction that our two young men whom we are dating and installing here tomorrow night, good, good out, work. Any theologian graduating from a theological seminary, in any of our states, and in any place in our nation, at this particular time. In other words, when you're our people here, at a knowledge of God's word, are able to work it from the Aramaic of the Greek, the Hebrew and English to with a few other things, and are able to put this word together have a knowledge of the history of the Word, and the background of the church history and all these other wonderful thing. It's a great privilege that we have. And it's a great honor to the families represented here of these two boys, to be a part of this wonderful ordination and installation heard that here next Sunday night. And for you, people in Columbus, and so forth, we certainly appreciate it the prayers and the believing regarding the class on power for abundant living, which opens in Columbus, Ohio, on Sunday afternoon, March spring 30. And will continue nightly then, except Saturdays for two weeks closing on March the 25th. Now, my people regarding the day Jesus Christ done in order to set the pattern of this teaching ministry here tonight, I'd like to say to you that we're something which is understood commonly among all of us, and that is that Christendom for the most part, has always said that Good Friday is the day on which Jesus Christ was crucified. And that on Easter Sunday morning, he arose again from the dead.

04:54

I would like to say that it was a good day when Jesus Christ died for hours. Saying that you and I might become the righteousness of God in Him. But it is absolutely wrong, biblically speaking, to make Friday of the week, the day of the event of Christ's death. If Friday were the true day, Jesus Christ death upon the cross, then Jesus Christ, who rose, according to the common teaching on Easter Sunday, would only have been in the grave, one night, and one day. And this could not be true, because the Scripture does not save. And we have to come back to the Word of God. I know what somebody may say, they say, Well, so what if it doesn't make three days and three nights so up? Well, so what love domain, if you can break the way that God one place, it's broken every place. It's either all God's word from Genesis 113, to Revelation 2221, or it's none of God's Word. If there is any one place in the Word of God that can be broken, then every place is built in because the word of God is like a chain. If you break one link in the chain, the whole chain is deployed. No chain is broken. So it is with the greatness of this tremendous fruit that I'd like to share so that every child, every young person, every adult can understand. This is not something of my private opinion. When I first saw this, in the Word of God, I sat back. And I was just appalled at how an educated man education in quotes, could read the world and go through the Bible and never seen that for years, I could be let alone to think that Friday, so called Good Friday, which had commonly been taught that Jesus Christ died on good thought he got up on Easter Sunday, how is an intelligent man could accept that and say, well, that equals three days and three nights. But I just accepted it, I never questioned it. I never really made it fit. But it was the young people in my life, the young people in my church in bandwidth, who forced me to the place to consider the accuracy of the word. And thank God for those young people. Because the young people cannot believe God's way unless it fits. When they see these things, then they ask questions, if you're, you know, if you don't bite their heads off, but if they know you're gonna bite their heads off, they won't ask any questions. But if they know you're considerate, and kind and understanding when the young people don't mind asking questions, and they asked me this question as to how I could explain three days and three nights from Friday afternoon to Easter Sunday morning. And I said, Yes, well, but they said years ago, and I was awful hard to get three days and three nights never took that took me back to the Word and back to the teaching that I'm going to share with you tonight. And of course, the turtle left great clothes are in that little booklet, entitled The day Jesus Christ died. And if the people listening to the radio tonight, want a copy of this, we will send it to them free and postpaid. All they have to do is write the way do not fill a vial. And I will personally think too, that a copy is mailed to them so they can search out all the scriptures for them say, I'd like for you to turn to Matthew chapter 12 denied

08:41

Matthew chapter 12. And while you have your finger in Matthew chapter 12.

08:51

I think it'd be a good idea. If we also picked up some other scriptures in a moment, but this Matthew 1240 is the one i i would like to share with you. First of all, it says For Jonas was three days and three nights in the whales or fish's belly, so shall the Son of Man be locked three days and three nights is a heart although and there are many places in the Scripture where it says not only would he be three days and three nights like this, but that he would rise again on the third day. Now, if he died on Good Friday and got up on Easter Sunday morning, it doesn't contradict everything in the Word of God. Because Jesus Christ the Word says, came to fulfill the law, the law, the law required that no man could officially be declared dead. Except he had been dead for a period of three days and three nights in a row period of 72 hours, then you could officially legally declare the man dead. This is all involved, Jesus Christ came to fulfill that all. And therefore, even in this detail, he would have to fulfill it. Or you could not say that he fulfilled though. All right. Take a look at Matthew 16. I think we'll just look these up. I have not done this with a group for a long time. But I think I will just look it up with you. These are all the references in the Bible that talk about Jesus Christ rising on the third day, Matthew 16. Verse, these not coming from the Synoptic Gospels, they will repeat themselves, but I think you ought to know them. Matthew 16, verse 21. And that time for, again, Jesus to show up against disciple poverty, but go under Jerusalem, and suffer many things. And the elders, and chief priests and scribes have been killed and be raised again. The third one, there's no question about in Chapter 17, imagine, verse 23. And, and they shall kill him. And the third day he shall be raised again. The third day, he shall be raised again, in chapter 20, of Matthew 20, verse 19, and shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock and to Scourge and to crucify. And the third day he shall walk again, in the 27th chapter of Matthew, Matthew 27, verse 60, fold command, therefore that's the tip of Kirby made sure until the third day, let the disciples come by night, and steal him away, and say unto the people, he is referred from the dead. So the last error shall be worse than though you see how they implied to make sure though they would not get up on what day, third day because he had promised he was going to get up at that time, in the Gospel of Mark now, in the ninth chapter of the gospel of Mark, is the next reference. And as I said to you all just take time and gives you all of them. But then from here on, you'll have all of them at your fingertips, or at least Mark 931. He taught his disciples instead of them, the Son of Man is delivered in the hands of men, and they just kill him and after that, he is killed, he shall rise the third day. In chapter 10, is the next breath, verse 34. And they shall not give, and shall skirt to, and shall fit upon him and shall kill him. And the third day, He shall rise again, in the Gospel of Luke, in the ninth chapter, the ninth chapter of the Gospel of Luke, verse 22, saying, The Son of Man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and keep preaching scribes and be slain, and be raised the third day, you in the 18, chapters above Luke verse 33, and they shall scourge him and put him to death. And the third day, He shall rise again in the 24th chapter, the gospel of Luke in verse seven, saying, The Son of Man must be delivered in the hands of sinful men and be crucified. And the third day lies again. And in verse 21, but we trusted that it had been he would should have redeemed his room besides all this, today is the third day since these things are not done. And in verse 46, and seven of them does, it is the WHO price to suffer and derives from the depth the third day in Acts chapter 10. Acts chapter 10, verse 40, him God raised up the third day and show him how openly openly and then in First Corinthians is the last read first Corinthians chapter 50

15:07

birth full and that he was bearing and that he arose again the third day according to the law. So you see, there are many references in the Bible telling you specifically that Jesus must be crucified, but also specifically that when he was crucified, he would rise again. And the day that he would rise again, would be the third day. Now, that scripture from Matthew 1240 that we read to begin with today, and that was, as Jonas was three days and three nights in the fishers are whale's belly, so shall the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. And yet, he is going to have to get up on what day, the third day, there was my problem. I could not for the life of me reconcile for a long time, how a person could be dead three days and three nights and still get up the third day. But yes, when I sat down and work it it's so simple, that I missed the through the earth because the first observation we'll have to make this evening as we work this word of God, is to note with a great alacrity, and, and with a great accuracy. That the first day of the feast of the Passover was always a holy convocation. That the first day of this feast of the Paschal was always a special Sabbath date. A holy convocation. Hey, hi day. Oh, and the seventh day, the first day and the seventh day. Now people I think we'll look up the Scripture first and then I will relate it to our own holidays like Christmas and so forth to show you exactly what the Bible says and how it works along this line in Leviticus, Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, chapter 23.

17:28

The Vedic is 23. First, full, these are the feasts of the Lord. You have it there. The Vedic is pointing three, verse four. These are the feasts of the Lord, even holy convocation. What convocations is the same word that in a Greek is translated Sabbath. Sabbath days are fully convocation, which he shall proclaim in their season. In the first key, remember this now verse five, the 14th day of the first month, and even is the Lord's Passover. And on the 15th day of the same month, is the Feast of Unleavened Bread unto the Lord. Seven days you must eat unleavened bread. In the first day, the first day of this feast, he shall have an one holy convocation. The first day of holy convocation, a holy Sabbath, a high day, he shall do no struggle work very. Now, in Exodus, Allah in verse eight, it tells you the seventh day to each offering offered by firing the Lord 70. In the seventh day is an holy convocation. He helped you know, serve your work. In other words, the first day of the feet and the standing of the feet were always special holy days, holy convocation, facial Sabbath days, had nothing to do with the day of the week. If it came on, if the first day, if the 14th day of the month, even as the Lord's Passover, the 15 days is the Feast of Unleavened Bread. When that fee started that first day, if it came on a Tuesday, let's say then that Tuesday would be a one. A A holy title convocation, a high day, a special Saturday understand, then the following Tuesday of the week would be the seventh day which would be a home a one time vocation a special Sabbath day. Now because Tiger day is referred to as the Sabbath day. Yep, that first day of Unleavened Bread. The first day the feast day would come on A Saturday, then the feast that holy Sabbath would take precedent over the weekly Sabbath. You stand. Just like, if you have Christmas on Tuesday, do you celebrate? You go to church have a special service job, that if Christmas, come on a Sunday Do you celebrate? Sure you do. But the Christmas celebration that holy day as you refer to it, of Christmas takes precedence over the week, late Sunday. That's exactly what you have here regarding the holy convocations on the first and seventh day of this feast of the Passover or of unleavened bread, in Exodus, chapter 12. These chapters here like 23, and Exodus 12, you are completely read for yourself sometime in Exodus, chapter 12. Verse 16, and in the first day, there shall be no holy convocation. And in the seventh day, there shall be and holy convocation to you. Now, both of these records are given an Exodus, Leviticus, and this is talking about what I have just explained to you. These are the feasts of the level for the convocation, special Sabbath days, high days. Now the first day of the Passover, which is called a feast of unleavened bread always comes on the 15th of the month out of it. Check Exodus 12 is here, Exodus, chapter 12. They want to read 13 I'll check it here in a minute. Both places, I want to just check and see which one I want to use first. 13 Actually, Exodus 13 Verse full, this date came out in the month of lot of in the month of it, this is Exodus 13. This is a month of our BIM API base. In Exodus 12, Verse two, it says this month in other words, this month of a bear shall be unto you that beginning of one month, it shall be the first month of the year to you though the first month of the year. The month is a bit ABI B in the book of Esther, in Esther, you might look this up I guess I i wrote this on the board here for you later on we perhaps will be going to the board now show you some of these The Book of Esther Nehemiah

23:16

he will have it Thomas find me Esther three seven C I wrote these on the board up here. Esther three seven in connection with a name nice song because under a big we have Exodus 12 Two and 13 for now in in in Esther chapter three verse seven. Do you read that loud please.

23:45

alright, that's all I wanted. In the first month of the year, the month a lot nicer you'll find the same truth in Nehemiah chapter two verse one who has that please? Anyone here in the auditorium has this was standing read aloud long so the people can hear it on the broadcast too. Alright Alright, that's it in the month of nice fun. Now this month nice on is the same month as the month have been. Originally God called a bit. Then they went into the Babylonian captivity. And after they returned from the Babylonian captivity, they changed the name. That's why it appears only an extra Nehemiah. They changed the name from a build ability to nicer and it was at this time that the other months of the year were named and they were given all pagan named Babylonian names at that time, because in the Bible there is only one month that is given a name That's the first month of the year, which is a bit. They call it nice songs. And then they add a lot of names for all the other months came after the Babylonian captivity. Before this, it was called the second month of the year, the third month of the year, the fourth month, that's also referred to the seventh month of the year. No names in the Bible. Understand now this will help you a little more to get an understanding of how we got the pagan name for the month of the year, just like we have the pagan names for the days of the week. There's only one day mentioned in the Bible, and that's the Sabbath day. The others are the first day of the week, the second day of the week, the third day, the fourth, fifth sixth, like in Genesis, when God created THON that made the first day that the second so forth. They're all like that, after the Babylonian captivity. Then they added pagan names for the first second third, like Sunday is the day we worship the sun. That's the meaning of Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, five days later, these are pagan names that we have adopted. Now just keep the record straight, if you will, will not have any difficulty understanding the Word of God. Now, in John chapter 19, John 19, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, chapter 19. I think this will just bless your heart. When you get this all worked out and tied together tonight. It will just set the greatness of God's word within the depths of your soul. In John 19, in verse 31. It says, The Jews therefore because it was the preparation, that the body should not remain upon the cross on the Sabbath day, then they put a parentheses in King James. And from that parentheses, I should have known it but I missed it for years for that Sabbath day, that Sabbath day was the weekly Sabbath. No, but amre they were for a backstabber date was the first day of the feet of unleavened bread that we read about in Leviticus and Exodus Laval ago, that was the high day, the high day should not remain upon the cross on the Sabbath day for a Black Sabbath was and was fading. And that Sabbath Day was always the 15th of our bill, or a nice on the day before was the 13th of nice song, the day of preparation. And you must keep that straight, as it says here in 31, because it was the one preparation, therefore they did so and so.

28:15

You see, the word plainly set before us, even from the coastal record here, that the day Jesus died was the day of preparation. And that the day after the preparation was that special high date. Now we are concerned here about finding out the day of the week in which Christ died for when we know the day of the week, having been dead three days and three nights and getting up the third day, then we'll know when he arose. But we first have to find out when he died. We know it's the 14th of the month of a beer. Or as they refer to it today, in Jewish circles, they still call it nice on today. But the month, the first month of the year, a bit on the 14th of that month, he died to get back at this at another angle so that we'll finally have all the truths of the Word compounded and put together before we get the synthesis on it. Every synoptic every record in the Synoptic Gospels give the same truth regarding the resurrection of Jesus and I think you ought to note it in Matthew, I think you ought to know in Matthew 2828 chapter Matthew verse six, when these people come to the women and so forth, come to the tube early on what we refer to as Easter Sunday morning when they come pertinent. Verse six says, The report did they miss? He is not here for he is what does that tell you when he arose? No, it simply tells you that when the woman came to the tomb early on Easter Sunday, he was already up. He had already passed and swamp with all the Gospels are like this, everyone says the same thing. But we are bred into it. We are glad that he just got up there. It doesn't say that. It simply said that he had already won. Then we've got to go to other places to find out when he arose. Because by the time these women came to the to the the angel said to them, he is not here he as well. So he was already up. And let me remind you that the scripture says that they came to the tomb early, early hour, do you want it? Well, you can get it between four and five o'clock our time in the morning. That's what they came early in the morning. And he airswap When they're all like this, look at Mark. I think we're just read the synoptic theory, Mark 16. Or Mark chapter 16. I just can't see the birds for centuries with verse six. Thank you, Mark 16 verse six. And he said under them being not advising, you seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified, he is really, he is not one. The same thing we just read in the Gospel men, when they came to the Central Park, he was already up. He had already worked. And notably in the Synoptic Gospels, does it say he or just not enough? Then it says that he had passed parents already what it Luke? Luke 24. Luke 24 Verse six, he is not what here. But as well. That's a tremendous thing. You see, in the Gospel of Matthew, where we started with Matthew 1240. Tonight, it said that Jesus would be three days and off. Right. And those gospel records as well as the one we concluded with, from 15th, the first Corinthians verse four, it said, he was crucified and God would raise him on the third one day. Therefore this pinpoints accurately the truth of the time of his death and his resurrection. Or if he's going to be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth, it will have to be a period of three times 20 fold. Now, every Bible scholar knows that according to Jewish reckoning, a part of a day may be called a complete day. For instance, if there's if there's one hour left in this day, you could refer to it specifically, as, as a day. Every Bible student knows this. But when the Bible says day and night, it becomes a list row food, day and night is always a period of 24 hours and not part of a day. If it said, the third hour of the day, it could be any person. But when it says day and night, it must be a period of 24 hours. You see, even if you would take the ordinary teaching we set under with the liberal Bible students teaching that a part of the day as the whole day. You still couldn't get three days and three nights out of it if you squeezed it today. Because the Scripture says that He died for an hour, I mean, the the the it'd be not it'd be three o'clock in the afternoon, the ninth hour of the day, which is three o'clock our time. So if he be dying on Good Friday, at three o'clock, and be buried that day, then the Half day, Friday would be one day. Friday night would be one night. Saturday day would be the second day. Saturday night would be the second one night and Sunday morning. What these are third up. And that's the hardest, you can sweep. And you still can't get three days and three nights out of it. At best, you could only get three days and two nights. Yeah, Friday, Friday night, Saturday, Saturday night and up early Sunday morning. That's the record in a gospel does not say he got up on Sunday. It says that every vote that by the way, when it came to this stuff occur early on that first day of the week, he had already won with. That's right. So we've got to go to other places to find out when he got up. Now remember John 19, we read a while ago, that Jesus was crucified on the day of one preparation, which was the day preceding the feast of unleavened bread. The Passover was eaten. The Passover was always eaten immediately after sunset, on the 15th of a bill or an iPhone. Therefore, Jesus crucified the day of preparation the day before he was crucified on the 14th of knifeman. And he died at about the ninth hour Jewish reckoning, which corresponds to our 3pm In the afternoon, we turn to Matthew chapter 27. Matthew 27 and verse 45. Now from the six hours, the six hour would be 12 noon hour time, there was darkness over all the land on to watch the $9 There's 46. And about the nine hour Jesus cried this from the phone, and then he gave up the ghost. You see, the time here is very important. In Mark, you have the same truth. Mark chapter 15.

37:36

Mark 15 Verse 25, says it was the third hour and they did was crucified Him the third hour, the third hour of the day corresponds to our 9am because their day, their day time started with six hour time. That was their first hour of the day time holiday. It was the third hour. So they crucified him at nine o'clock in the morning. And look at verse 33. And when the six hour was Tom, there was darkness over the whole lamb on to the last night or at the ninth hour Jesus cried this, then he died upon the foot. Now in Matthew, we read that he would be in the grave three days and one. Now don't confuse this with his death. He died at three o'clock our time, but it doesn't say he would be dead three days and three but but it said he would be in the grave in the heart of the earth three days and three one night right now. No one, no one knows exactly. The moment he was put in the way we know when he died. But we do not know the exact moment he was placed in the grade. But we do know that it was on the day of what preparation because the next day was the high day the following day but special Sabbath day and therefore being the first day of Unleavened Bread. They had to get them put away before the next day started. Now when does the day start for the Jews. It starts with sunset in the evening. And this is where we have made another big mistake. We have made two mistakes. One we did not understand that the first day of the feast was a high day of facial Sabbath day. The special Sabbath day, it called We thought it was the weekly Sabbath. So he died the day before the Sabbath day it said, so he was naturally according to that reckoning, die on Friday. That's exactly where the error came in. He said day before the Sabbath, the weekly Sabbath is Friday, therefore he died on Friday. That's how they got the air. And secondly, because we do not understand and reckon the day is properly in the Bible, we don't reckon it properly. You see, we started dating at night. We started there fifth night. Well, that's a crazy time to start taking notes. Who wants to get up at night? Just think about, we start today, a couple hours from now it's going to be a new day. We're used to them. But how confused you would be if you hadn't been brought up in this culture. Just think of starting today, right in the middle of the night. That's all the Jews started their day with sunset. Sunset. That's when it started. So the first part of their day would be night. Naturally. Well, what's ours, ours half night, middle night, before midnight, right? All the books in the Bible, all the books in the Bible are reckoned by Jewish die with the exception of the book of Esther. The Book of Esther is written in Egyptians time, and the Egyptian time reckoned their day with Sunrise, the sunrise while the Jews went from sunset to sunset. So here we have these great truths that we have worked together now. And let me show you them drawn out here are simple they really own from sunset to sunset is the day. This is when their day started.

You could say from 6pm to 6am, but sunset varies a little bit. And therefore if you want to be biblically accurate, and technically accurate, you can only say from sunset to sunset. Now we read tonight in the Word of God, that Jesus Christ died at three o'clock, our time, the ninth hour of the day, he died on the day of preparation, which is the day before the feast of the Passover, which is a 14th of Nisa, or a bit a month is the month of the day. The date of the month is the 14th of a day, the day of preparation, the day of preparation, he died at three o'clock. Now he had to be in the grave before sunset because sunset started up the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the first part of which was the rapid eating of the Passover. They ate the Passover real quickly after sunset. And this is remarkable. Because the Passover Lamb, the Passover lamb was always trading at three o'clock in the afternoon on the day of preparation. And that year, our Lord and Savior died at the exact hour. When the Passover lamb was slain across the nation, by the unbelievers who did not know the Lord Jesus Christ. And that's why that scripture just rings within my soul now that he was the Lamb of God. He was the Lamb of God, he was God's lamb. And that year last he died at the exact power when the Passover lamb was slain, three o'clock in the afternoon, the day of preparation. And he had to be buried before sunset, because sunset started the next day, the 15th of night. Now for convenience of teaching sake, let's say they had a berry by five o'clock, and that the sunset came at six. He was sent from here over to here have a period of 24 hours when he would be one day One day at night, a period complete period of 24 hours. So from five o'clock here on the 14th to five o'clock on the 15th would be one day and one one night, from five o'clock here to five o'clock on the 16th from five o'clock 15 to 16 would be the second day and second night. And from five o'clock on the 16th to five o'clock on that 70 would be the three three days and three nights. He will be three days and three nights In the heart of the earth, buried, buried, to fulfill that he was dead all the way. And yet he would rise up. That's where the greatness comes in, because that he had to arrive before sunset, if he's going to rise on that day, the third day, and that's exactly what he did. He rose on the third day before Sunday. Because the fourth day, the first day is what we refer to as Easter Sunday, when the woman came to the separator early in the morning. And messengers of God said, the man we're seeking is not here he is with, he had already missed. He had already, but he arose one day, the third day, and so we could go back and work this day, you'll see that he died on the 14th of nice sun, or Apple, which corresponds to our weekday cars Wednesday.

46:10

The Wednesday before sunset, don't Thursday before sunset, is that first day, and not from Thursday before sunset, do Friday before sunset is the second day and night. And from our Friday, sunset, before sunset to Saturday before sunset is the third day. And yet he arose as our Lord and Savior on that wonderful third day. Isn't that a tremendous tool, and how simple it is, how beautiful and how every verse of scripture fits all the way through the Bible. It is a tremendous thing. Now, this, this here, Thursday, is what we read in John 1931, John 1931, this is that high day, this was the spatial one, the spatial Sabbath thing. It was the high day. This thing has this day had this day occurred here, or any other year had it occurred that that high day came on the weekly Sabbath, then it would have had precedence over the weekly Sabbath. Remember, Now, going back here in the teaching, and the reason the air came is because of this special Sabbath day, they read into it, the weekly seven. And if he died the day before that the Sabbath day, he would have had to die on what good Friday as we call it. He could not because if he died at three o'clock from three o'clock here to three o'clock, there would only be one day, and the early the next morning would have been the second period of your whole bible falls to pieces. And no wonder young people would believe in already adults. Except those whose minds already made up that you can't, they won't learn anything, because you'll simply confuse them with the truth. And though we should put in help very much the only one who has personal knowledge whose own personal knowledge is more shorter than the reveal vertical, I would dare to deny the accuracy of the word that I've read with you here tonight and said before, there is a referencing Luke, that we read earlier tonight, I'd like for you just to make note up, and that is Luke 24. This one scripture seems a little difficult to handle at first, but it's not really difficult. In Luke 24, we rent tonight in verse 21. And on this first day of the week, as Jesus was on the road to we made us with these two men. They said after the occasion had occurred or after the thing that happened, verse 21, but we trusted that it had been heat, which should have redeemed Israel. And beside all this, today is the third day since these things were done. So they have taken this verse of scripture along with the Friday teaching over here and said, Well, this is the third day you've got Luke said it. But people if you do that, then all the other scriptures. You got to turn it up because they don't fit. This scripture here I should have understood too, but I did. The word since is the key to it. It's three days since this happened. Therefore, if it's three days ago since it happened then today is last day The Back Squat itself. That's what it means even in changing that wonderful, you know, model. I'll give you a mock up straight until he goes he translated it very clearly and very accurately, he says, and that is three days ago. It is three days ago at the LMA tax, which were much concerned here at the headquarters, Jim van Chamberlain and Rick Cohn in the solids in the accuracy of the RMA reads as follows. And glue, these three days have passed, since all these things occurred. Now wonderful. And so you can see how the great accuracy of the words when you put it all together, the month according to the Word of God, the first month of the year is the month of a bit later on, plump up nicer and referred to today in Jewish circles as the month of nicer than the month was.

51:08

The day of the month was the 13th when he died that day of the week was Wednesday of our week. And he arose again on Saturday of our week reckoning before sunset, on the third day of April. This is a tremendous truth because now some of the rest of the scriptures. Remember that why I think you think Peter, we won't look it up tonight because our time is getting away from me here when it's really not relevant. But it's interesting. Remember what he did in His resurrected body? It says I think in Peter he went and witness is not in Peter White and witness to the imprisoned spirits. Isn't in June to June? Well, since I'm disturbed about it, we'll just look into June and right before revelation. Got one chapter in first year, every body Chapter Three was right to begin. Hebrews, James First Second Peter chapter a lot. First Peter chapter three, verse 84, Christ also has one suffered for sins, that just for the unjust, that he might bring us to the God being put to death in the flesh, but quickened, made alive by law, by the Spirit by God, by made alive by the Spirit. Now let's verse 19, by the which, by the way, by His resurrected body, he was made alive, right. And in his alive, resurrected body, he went and preached unto the Spirit, in what input he preached on to the spirits, in the word preach is the word cutting, so spelled k e r, u, s, s, O, the word cut themselves, does not mean preached. It means witness to it means witness do. He didn't go and preach to the imprison spirits. He didn't go to preach to them. Why? Because they couldn't help him. And he couldn't say those because those were the devils that were a gene, because they had caused that first cataclysmic occurrence when they call it, Noah. And here's a whole bunch of people and Adam and Eve and the rest of the same. Those were the prison in prison spirits. But in His resurrected body, he appeared to them and witness to them, what the witness to the witness to the that he had was God raised, because up until this time, Satan had when he killed somebody, they remained dead, and everybody stayed dead until God raised up the Lord Jesus Christ. And in that resurrected been, he appeared under those devil spirits and said, Here I am, God has raised me, and that shook the foundations of the world. And that's why it says later on. That's why it says later on that, for all the things of the power of God, it said that he witnessed by the resurrected power within this resurrected body. And he led according to Ephesians, he led captivity chapter, He led captivity chapter, and that's what he's talking about. So you see, when you put this whole thing together, you have other scriptures that tell you exactly what he did here, and what occurred on this occasion when God raised him from the depth on the third day.

55:12

So putting all of these great tunes together in the accuracy with which this word fit, you will have to come to the conclusion that the Bible is still right. That it means what he says and that it says what it means. And that God has a purpose for everything he says, where he says, why he says and how he says the job, he says, when he says, and therefore, Jesus Christ died on the 14th of our bed or night song, which is on Wednesday, while we had was buried before sunset that day of the preparation on the 14th, and got up on our day of the week, which is referred to a Saturday, the 17th of November. And what we referred to as Easter Sunday, when he first appeared in His resurrected body to marry and the rest of the women and the apostles and the two on the road to Emmaus, when he first appeared to them, that would have to be the 18th of the month of August. So you see the whole word of God fits together, regarding the day of the week, and so forth, when Christ done. I'm sure that some of you people are in the auditorium tonight. We'll be glad to if you haven't already acquired a copy the day Jesus Christ died, I'm sure you'll be glad to have your copy. As the book table at the close of the service tonight, I'm sure that our radio audience listening, they would like to work this again and see it for themselves. We'll be glad to send them a copy all you have to do your radio people is right to the wind spell keep th e capital Why is the way new Knoxville, Ohio, and we will be glad to send you a copy free and post thank you to see the word of God for yourself. But people, it seems to me to be dead. After the Word of God speak so simply and something that people still want to say he died on good side when he did nothing other time. Because then your Bible contradicts itself. And it can't be the word of God if the Bible contradicts. And somebody will say as I said earlier tonight, they'll say, Well, what difference does it make? Well, it makes all the difference between truth and error between right and wrong. When the Word of God says something, it means what it says and what he said three days and three nights. He didn't mean a day and a half. How he met a day and a half. You know what he said? day and a half how he met one day and two nights. That's what he would have said those are other places all God always said what he meant. And you're very fortunate he means what he says and says what He means otherwise you could not trust you with the eternal redemption or your soul or a heaven or any other reality. The Word of God does not mean one.
