Lisa and her husband first met in the late summer of 1978 when he was beginning his final year of in-residence training with the 7th Way Corps and Lisa was beginning her first year with the 9th Way Corps. After meeting, they very quickly became almost inseparable. The 7th Way Corps graduation was in July of 1979 and he went to Oklahoma City while Lisa began her interim year of training, first with the music group Joyful Noise and then later with the group Glad Tidings. She then went into her final year of in-residence training and they were married in July 1981. This song was written in the fall of 1979 on her interim year while with Joyful Noise. They were just beginning what they knew would be two years apart. It was recorded in 2012 at Euphonic Studio with Bill Niemi as recording engineer.
