Both songs "Maybe Today" and "What More Could I Want" are in this one archive on the same track.
When Lisa recorded the “Emmaus” album, she was in the studio with several other musicians and as a part of that album she re-recorded some songs that had been previously done with only her and a guitar. One of these was “Maybe Today”, first released on the “Last Night in Galilee” album. This version of the song really captures the beautiful ¾ “waltz” timing of the the song.
During that same week, another song from a previous recording was re-done, “What More Could I Want” which had been on the “Love Never Fails” album. As the “Emmaus” album was being completed, it was decided to keep this song on the album as a “bonus song”. It isn’t mentioned on the song titles and has only a brief mention in the credits. It appears on the CD about 15 or so seconds after “Maybe Today” and that is where you will find it here as well. Dan Moran was the producer and arranger for the entire album.
