6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.
Romans 7:6 (Literal)
6 But now we (mankind believers) have been justified (freed) from the law, having died (in and with Christ) to all the law wherein we were formerly as all mankind ensnared (trapped). We now serve, live, in the newness of the spirit and no longer by the old law that affected all mankind.
